"Sister. "Yasmine groaned.
"We'll talk about it later. Come on, let's go home." Ustadz Huda helps Yasmine get off the bed. Bara's out soon. His face is pale
Banyu watched his brother.
"Why are you pale? What happened to Yasmine?" ask Banyu.
I looked at Banyu. He wanted to tell a story but stopped. No, he can't tell anyone.
"Why are you quiet?" ask Banyu curiously. Bara is still silent. Banyu again would open his mouth to ask again when the door opened.
The two young men turned their heads towards the door when Ustadz Huda came out while looking at Yasmine. Banyu watched Yasmine. Seeing Yasmine, Banyu concludes that the girl is fine. So what makes Bara that pale when out of the IGD room.
Bara stared fixedly at Yasmine's face covered in niqab. He saw that the niqab was wet, a sign that Yasmine was crying. Yasmine. It's like he's still holding back.
"Bara, let's go home!" take Ustadz Huda and also reprimand Bara for staring fixedly at Yasmine.
Stuttering embers. He immediately shifted his eyes.
"Well, Ustadz" he replied. He then stepped in front with Banyu. Ustadz Huda and Yasmine followed behind.
Throughout the journey they were silent. Ustadz Huda stared out the window. His face is still tense. Yasmine. A little light came out of his lips.
"Sir, Yas swore by Allah that Yas never did, "Yasmine's voice broke the silence.
"Alright, Yas. We're talking at home." Ustadz Huda.
Petrifying. Tight chest. His hands clenched tightly until they were white. Banyu glanced at his brother. He knows something is going on.
The silence continued until the car they were riding in reached the yard of Ustadz Huda's house which was also the home of Pak Kyai pesantren owner.
"syukrons. You can go back to the dormitory, " said Ustadz Huda, who was also an order for Bara and Banyu.
Yasmine went into the house first. He was greeted with his ummah embrace. Yasmine's cry broke out in her umi embrace.
"To Yas? What are you sick with?" tanya uminya worried.
Ustad Huda came in, "We're talking inside Umi."
I stared at them from the yard.
"Let's go back to the room!" take Banyu while pulling Bara's arm.
"Wait for Nyu." Bara stopped Banyu's steps, "You go first, I have a little business." continued Bara.
"What's? Remember mom's message" said Banyu worried about Bara who he felt since the hospital was acting strangely.
Bara smiled as she patted Banyu on the shoulder, "Did you still not see that I had changed?I just want to achieve my dream. Whatever the way." answered Bara.
"All right." Banyu stepped away. But just a few steps back, he went back.
"What's wrong?" tanya Bara saw Banyu back.
"I forgot, Mr. Kyai's car keys haven't been returned yet" Banyu said.
"Give me! Let me give it back." Bara reached out his hand asking for Mr. Kyai's car keys.
Banyu handed it over, "Remember mama's message!"
Back Banyu reminded Bara not to do things that could make the family embarrassed. Bara calmed Banyu by pointing his thumb.
Banyu immediately left Bara. Bara slowly approached Mr. Kyai's house. He took a deep breath, said his greetings slowly before finally stepping in slowly.
Inside the house, in the living room, Mr. Kyai was visibly angry to hear the news brought by Ustadz Huda.
"So this is what you made after you went to college in Cairo, Yas!" he said in a deep voice and pressed down while brandishing a piece of paper towards Yasmine. "Tell me who he is, Yas!" snapped Mr. Kyai.
"For Allah's sake Yas never did. Yas always kept Yas honor." Yasmine replied trying to convince her parents. Umi hugged him. Her heart was sliced at the grief of her daughter and the wrath of her husband.
You still won't confess after the evidence is in Abah's hands, Yas!!!" snapped Mr. Kyai back. He squeezed the paper and threw it towards Yasmine.
"Change, relax. Hold on to your emotions." Ustadz Huda tried to calm down.
"Astaghfirullah." Mr. Kyai took a stand and sat down limp on the chair, "Say Yas, please." this time Mr. Kyai's voice sounded weak.
Yasmine still continued to cry, "What should Yas say Bah. If Yas's honesty doesn't believe."
Mr. Kyai took a breath, his patience had already begun to disappear. He stood up and said this time loudly while raising his hand about to hit Yasmine.
"Still you cover it Yass!!"
Mr. Kyai's hand was already in the air ready to slap Yasmine. Yasmine closed her eyes. Nyai's mother screeched and Ustadz Huda stood up to block her brother's blow to Yasmin's body.
Suddenly someone caught Mr. Kyai's hand from behind.
"The coal!" the Ustadz Huda. Yasmine immediately looked up when Bara's name was mentioned. He saw Bara standing behind his brother holding his right hand.
"Afwan Pak Kyai if it is presumptuous" said Bara then slowly release Pak Kyai's hand. "Ana entered without permission. Ana wants to get this back" Bara said, handing Mr. Kyai the keys.
Mr. Kyai looked at Bara with an angry and suspicious look. He took the key that Bara handed out. His eyes then looked towards Yasmine.
"Is he the culprit?"his tannya on Yasmine made Yasmine, Ustadz Hudan and Bara shocked.
"Well, there's no way Bara did it." Ustadz Huda.
Mr. Kyai is silent. In his heart he also thought there was no way Bara could do it. As far as he was concerned Bara was a good young man, although at first he was a bit unruly. Mr. Kyai was sitting limp in the chair. Melted tears drenched his cheeks which began to appear wrinkled streaks.
"Afwan Pak Kyai. If allowed, ana is willing to take responsibility" Bara said suddenly making all shocked.
"What does it mean to be responsible?" ask Ustadz Huda. "Don't stir up the Bara's problem."
"I mean Ana well Ustadz. Ana believes Yasmine did not do it consciously. Maybe someone tricked him. So Yasmine couldn't tell who it was because she didn't know. For that, ana will marry Yasmine."
Isakan Yasmine alone sounded.
"no need. Anta doesn't have to endure what she doesn't do. Let Ana endure it herself if it happens as she says." Yasmine gently rejects Bara's good intentions.
"But Yas, the anti family? Anti's family's good name?" bara.
Yasmine silent. Yes, he must indeed think of his family's good name which incidentally is a family of Muslims who are famous for being obedient and pious. Moreover, his brother is the owner of the pesantren which is trusted by hundreds of santri guardians to educate their children. What happens if they find out, Yasmine is pregnant out of wedlock.
"What's anta serious?!" mr. Kyai's heavy voice sounded desperate as he asked Bara.
"Na'am, Mr. Kyai. Ana's serious." said Bara mantab.
"Anta will not regret and bring up this matter!" back Pak Kyai asked the seriousness of Bara.
"God is not Mr. Kyai."
"Alright, like magrib in the mosque. I'll marry you to Yas." said Mr. Kyai.
"That is impossible." said Ustadz Huda, "It is not permissible to marry a pregnant woman" he continued.
While Yasmine was getting more and more stunned in the arms of Bu Nyai who also looked sad.
Mr. Kyai rubbed his face. He looks desperate.
"Bara, ana's getting married to Yas. But promise me not to touch Yas until she gives birth. Later, I will marry you again when Yas's puerperium is over" said Mr. Kyai.
Ustadz Huda was silent. He knew his brother made a difficult decision. He did this for the next generation. He did not want this problem to be an example for other students.
"Well Mr. Kyai, ana promised."
"Go back to the dorm." Rich Mr. Kyai then he left the living room followed by Yasmine and Ms. Nyai.
Bara was about to come out when his eyes saw the paper that was squeezed by Mr. Kyai. He picked up the paper and put a yes in his pocket and then stepped out of the living room.
"Waiting!" Ustadz Huda stopped Bara's move.
"Yes ustadz?"
Ustadz Huda looked at Bara and hugged him. "Syukron." whispered.
Bara returned the arms of Ustadz Huda.
"Didn't you tell your parents?" ask Ustadz Huda.
"Not now Ustadz. Later if the time is right. When ana is ready." Bara replied.
"I believe your decision." said Ustad Huda patting Bara on the shoulder. "Again thanks." Ustadz Huda then turned around and went back inside.
Walk to the dormitory. When he arrived at the door of his room, he took a new breath opening the handle and said hello.
"Assalamu'alaikum."
"Waalaikumsalam" replied Banyu who was sitting on the bed as if waiting for him.
"There's something I want to say." said Bara, "But listen until I'm done talking and don't interrupt."
"What the hell?Don't make me curious." Banyu said impatiently.
"I will marry Yasmine later after the magrib prayer in the mosque." Bara replied.
"What?!!" Banyu shocked. He jumped out of the bed where he was sitting and approached Bara, "You're crazy. Papa and mama sent us here to study not to get married."
"The problem is different now. Yasmine needs my help. Moreover, this pesantren must be saved." replied Bara.
"Whatchu mean?I don't understand." Banyu was confused by Bara's answer.
"Later when it's all clear I'll tell you. But now I'm asking you to help keep this a secret. Please don't tell mom and dad about this sudden wedding."
Banyu silently thought. He looked at Bara with a questionable look.
"Don't tell me you're... "
"Remove that filthy mind of yours. Every day I am with you. Still think weird weird."
"Then what?!"
"I told you when everything was clear I was going to tell you because I suspected something. "
"alright. Alright. I-i promise. But you also promised to tell me soon."
"Yes." Yeah."
Then she lay down. He took the paper that was crushed by Mr. Kyai. He opened it and read it.
It turns out our blood type is the same.
'What is that?" Banyu approaching.
Bara immediately put the paper in his pocket.
"It's nothing." he then turned his body back to Banyu.
"Ck." Banyu clucked in annoyance because Bara was keeping something from him. There was no secret between the two of them. Anything will be shared and mutually support each other. But this time Bara shut his mouth and did not want to share with Banyu. This made Banyu very curious.
I will wait patiently for you to tell me.
Banyu then followed what Bara did. Sleeps.
