The Tomoe Garden's

The Tomoe Garden's
Chapters 2.1

In a very dense forest, towering trees with sunlight pierced through the leaves. There was a large dark cave and identified a group of goblins inside. Exactly 50 meters in front of the cave was a green-haired elf girl who was pulling her bow, leading to the cave.

"At least don't tear down the cave."

A silver-haired elf girl said so, she spoke behind a tree while leaning back.

"I know, we wouldn't get paid if they got trapped in that cave because it collapsed."

"The goal is to finish off all those goblins."

"Yes." Yeah."

They both took requests from the mission for a reason, it was because around the forest there was a village, and the village was attacked by a group of goblins in the forest. However, because no one took the mission because many of the adventurers underestimated it, so almost every day the locals will always get casualties.

Pheuh~

A gentle wind caressed the arrow, soundless and emotionless, only moving as fast as sound waves and tearing the air around it. Before reaching that cave, her arrows spread out in all directions as if it was an illusion, but it was purely the ability of that elf girl.

Without waiting for a second, a deafening explosive sound. The explosion came from his attack on each side of the cave without damaging the cave. Just causing a commotion and commotion.

"They're coming, Lilia." Said.

"I know."

A few quick steps came from within the cave, and the goblins showed themselves within the sight of the green-haired elf girl.

"Twenty, no, there are thirty goblins."

Not long after the goblins realized the existence of the elf girl, they looked angry and then ran towards the elf girl with her sharp weapon.

"I'm still wondering why the locals can be overwhelmed with the weak, while the world can kill them quickly." Said.

He still looked relaxed without fear against the 30 goblins with just two people alone.

"Come, Lilac. But in reality they are hunted by goblins almost every day. It shows how desperate they are that they don't want to survive and be strong."

"Well, maybe so..." Then Lilac continued, "Then let's get this started..."

After her sentence ended, Lilac jumped high into the air, like performing an acrobatic technique, slashing her arrows quickly.

No one reacted from the horde of goblins, just a few explosions that destroyed them in an instant. Large holes were formed as a result of the arrows launched by Lilac. There was only half that survived the entire goblin that came out of the cave.

Because their instincts said there was a menacing danger and their victims had been halved, they ran away irregularly.

"This is why I'm tired of facing you every day." Lilia said with her boredom, she was in a place not reached by the goblins.

Lilia took out a few daggers from her bag and thrust them at the running goblins at the same speed as Lilac's arrows. No one realized, suddenly one by one goblins fell like without cause, only their throats were perfectly split.

With that their slaughter was finished.

"Huh~"

Lilia sighed as she stepped over the corpses of the goblins and picked up the dagger she threw on the tree. He felt that doing this continuously would not give his team any progress and would only bring empty information. So he had to think of a way to get through the circle that he had always been in all this time.

"As usual you do that..." Lilac said that while crossing her arms.

"Well how else, I don't want my hands and uniform dirty. Even though I was a close combatant, but I was forced to because of circumstances that forced me to do this."

"And also, the blood of goblins is disgusting and stinky."

Lilia had no rejection from Lilac's words. He just focused on taking his daggers that he threw and cleaning them as clean as possible.

"Well, that's why..."

"Lilia?"

Lilia's sentence came to a halt and looked strange, therefore Lilac asked him.

In an instant, Lilia made a move, threw a dagger at a tree and tore the tree trunk apart.

"?!"

A person's voice rang out from behind the tree, startled as a dagger struck right in front of them.

Because of that Lilac realized it, she immediately prepared with her bow.

"Who's there?!" Shouted Lilia.

After the threat Lilia gave, someone, no, two men came out of the tree with frightened faces. They were seen wearing adventurous clothes and sheathing their swords on their backs.

"Sorry we didn't mean to follow you, but we heard from the receptionist that two people were on a mission to eradicate the goblin group." Said one of them.

"Then?" Reply Lilia.

Only with cheap equipment and clothes did they look low-class adventurers. Only with such appearances did Lilia and Lilac consider them truly weak.

Lilac seemed to want to say something, "Oh meaning from the beginning, have you followed us?"

"Sorry profusely, we really didn't mean to stalk you."

The two of them almost kowtowed just to apologize, but Lilac's response only saw the two of them as 'obscene stalkers'. Lilia also saw the two of them as 'trash'.

Lilia and Lilac looked at them like it was not just an emotional factor, but their true existence and strength had been known to strangers. And that makes their first failure to hide themselves as best they can.

"So your goal? I don't mean to make your hopes dashed because I've already taken your mission, but you can see what's already going on there." Lilia's gaze still lowered them, and pointed towards the piled up corpses of goblins.

The two men were surprised. Although they knew of Lilia and Lilac's actions towards that group of goblins, but when they saw it closer, it was completely out of their reach.

"That's... Ah no, I don't think about that mission anymore, but today we just want to form a party with you guys."

"Huh?"

Then the two men kowtowed on the ground, pleading for Lilia and Lilac's help, "Please, we just need someone to help us. We've asked others, but they won't because we're weak people."

After they made the request, Lilia and Lilac just made a wish to make a rejection in their heads, but Lilia did not want any information to be leaked because she had made a mistake.

"Huh~ okay. Raise your heads, you'll only look weak if you do that."

"Eh, really?" The faces of the two men looked fresher.

"Yes, I just feel sorry for you guys..."

Then Lilac asked because of the unexpected, "You're sure Lilia?"

"I have no other choice. They could have leaked information about us, so at least today I don't want to let them go." Whisper Lilia from the side.

"Then it's okay." Then Lilac made a firm tone to the two men, "Then it's just today! If tomorrow you meet us or wait for us in the Adventurers Guild, I won't hesitate to brainwash you!"

""We understand!""

The two of them made overlapping voices, respectfully agreeing to that.

"So how long do we have to follow you?" Ask Lilia.

On a journey, they headed for a place unknown to Lilia. The two men were leading the way, as they needed the help of Lilia and Lilac, so they were both the ones who had to show their direction.

"A little while later we arrived at a village. They asked the adventurer Guild to provide assistance from the adventurers, as the villagers sensed the presence of the Orc herd that crossed the forest near their village."

"Orcs? Aren't they stronger than goblins? Why are you taking on a more dangerous mission?"

However, the reply from the man made Lilia sigh, "We have no other choice, it is the only mission with the lowest level available."

"That's why you're asking for our help?" Added Lilac.

"Yes..." A sad expression could be seen from the man's face, he was just resigned to the circumstances.

After a while the four of them got to a village that was not too spacious and safe, so that place would be an easy target for the other monsters.

The two men proceeded to search for the whereabouts of the Orc herd by questioning a number of people and the village chief. Just in case Lilia and Lilac also asked the locals so that there was no false information.

After that they went back to meet Lilia and Lilac.

"How's it?" Ask Lilia.

"About two kilometers from this village, precisely next to the northern forest. The hunters have discovered the Orcs' whereabouts."

His words were the same as the information Lilia had obtained.

"Then come on, don't waste time."

"Wait a minute, we didn't know you two's names before."

"Huh, okay..." Lilia could only sigh, "My name is Lilia, and she is Lilac."

"Oh yeah, good name. Introduce my name Leo and this is my friend Mord." Said Leo while introducing Mord.

"Then, for today please cooperate with him." Lilia only looked indifferent while carrying her bag.

At least in order for there to be no loss of communication in their cooperation, they had to name each of them. That was what Lilac thought, although Leo and Mord would only be a burden but she did not want the two of them to die just because Lilac let them struggle with the lack of people.

Then, the four of them went to the northern forest to exterminate the Orc herd that was troubling the villagers.
