The Tomboy Babysitter the Heart Thief

The Tomboy Babysitter the Heart Thief
CHAPTER 40

Late in the afternoon Kanaya who daily works as a teacher at a State High School was surprised to find her home in a clean and tidy condition.

"Who cleaned all this up?" his inner.

"Good afternoon, Ms. Naya," Widya said as the two passed each other in the dining room. He was seen carrying a floor broom and napkin.

"Good afternoon. Did Miss Widya clean my house?"

"Yes, Mom. Mr. Aldi had bad luck so he did not have time to clean up."

"I'm not good with Mom. Guest cleaning."

"It's okay, Mom. I am tired of being silent. Oh yes, if possible I want to apply as a domestic assistant in this house. I see Ms. Naya and Mr. Aldi are both busy working so they do not have time to tidy up the house. You don't have to think about the salary for me. Most importantly I have a place to live and can eat."

Kanaya was silent for a moment, and she thought.

"It looks like I do need a housekeeper to help me clean up this house" he murmured.

"Ehm ... later try to talk to mas Aldi."

"Oh yes, Mom. I also cooked for dinner. Sorry, if I was presumptuous to just enter the kitchen of this house when the house is empty," said Widya.

"Why am I being such a hassle? I'm really not good at Mom."

"Ehm .. looks like we're the same age. Let it be good, I'll call me Widya."

"Assalamu'alaikum," said someone from the direction of the living room. Apparently Aldi.

"Waalaikumsalam, Mas."

Kanaya grabs Aldi's hand and kisses him.

"Tumben neat house. Did you come home early?"

"Ehm .. No, Mas. Ms. .. uh this Widya who cleaned our house when we were both outside the house."

I don't know why the answer made the look of Aldi's face turned sour.

"Widya has also cooked for our dinner, Mas. How about we just take him to work in this house?"

"Over this time we've been fine living alone without a housekeeper. We're used to sharing tasks and I don't mind at all."

"Sir doesn't have to pay a salary for me. The most important thing is that I have a place to live and can eat."

"We need to talk in the room."

Aldi took Kanaya's hand and invited her into the room.

Unbeknownst to them, Widya eavesdropped on their conversation.

"We do need Widya to help with household chores" Kanaya said.

"Do you forget the message of the late mother, never once put a stranger into this house even if he is only a housekeeper or a nanny."

"I think Widya is polite, her appearance and manner of dress are also polite. I'm sure he wouldn't dare to do anything in our house. Let's just say we helped him."

"I don't agree. We just give money to Widya for the cost of returning home."

"Widya said he had no family in the village. Where would he stay if he came home?"

"Why did you think of him? He is neither our brother nor our relative. It's too risky to let him stay in our house."

"It's not good to be prejudiced against others" Kanaya said.

"It's in town, Nay. Anything can happen. There have been many news on television or on the internet, crimes occur precisely from the people closest to us. Anyway I don't agree if Widya lives in this house. If you are unable to work at the same time as doing homework, stop your work. My income is more than enough to support you."

"We've talked about this a lot, I'll never leave my job as a teacher."

"That is, I don't know when this stubbornness of your head can disappear. We've been married for eight years and until now you haven't been able to give me any children. You should be introspection, it's your busyness that makes it hard to get pregnant."

Aldi grinned wryly.

"Do I have to be a grandfather first to have children?"

"Our discussion was about Widya. Why go to another problem?"

"Widya won't stay in this house, period!" firmly Aldi.

"But, Mas, …"

Aldi left his room. He returned to the yard where his car was parked. Not long ago the roar of the car was getting away.

"I'm sorry if my presence made Mom and Dad quarrel like this. I better leave this house" Widya said shortly after Aldi passed.

"When it gets dark, where do you want to sleep?"

"That's not hard for me. I can sleep in the mosque in the storefront or under the bridge" said Widya who he intended to hope pity.

"You're a girl. Outside is too dangerous for you. Never mind, tonight you sleep in the guest room."

"T-t-but what if Mr. Aldi gets angry?"

"That's gonna be my business. Now take your bag, let me take you to the guest room, my own room is upstairs."

Widya also took her bag and brought it into the room.

"After Maghrib prayers, we have dinner" Kanaya said.

"Is Mr Aldi always this way when he's angry, ma'am?" ask Widya between her dinners.

Kanaya shook her head.

"Mas Aldi is hardly ever angry. This time he left the house."

"What if Aldi doesn't come home?"

"Mas Aldi has no brothers in this city. I'm sure he'll be home."

****

Widya had just fallen asleep when suddenly the sound of someone knocking on the door. She thought Kanaya was still awake so she would definitely open the door for her husband. But after the door was knocked repeatedly, Kanaya did not come out of her room. Widya decides to open the door for him.

Headlights that have been turned off make Aldi can not see Widya's face clearly, especially when viewed from the staggering way of walking, the man must have drunk alcoholic beverages.

"Naya ... Why did you open the door for so long?" tanyakanya.

"I'm not-I …"

"I want you now."

Suddenly Aldi pushed Widya's body to make her fall on the sofa. Aldi who was under the influence of liquor suddenly revealed Widya's negligee.

"Don't, Sir!" his screeches.

"Why are you?" Sometimes it's okay to play here.

"Don't! Miss Naya! Help me!" widya shouted as Aldi began to push down his body.

Aldi is getting louder. She stripped Widya of her clothes until she was completely naked. The dark living room also became a silent witness when the heirloom Aldi broke into there.
