The Swordsman of the Gods

The Swordsman of the Gods
031. The Eye of God Part I

After a fight between rebels at Wulan Palace. Almost reaching midnight, the silence between the skies was felt by them.

Two women who were Yongchun's wives. Relia and Nia. They were in front of the gates of Wulan Palace, then Bing He appeared shortly after.

“Nia felt it too?”

“Iya. Something is strange.”

Relia and Nia looked up, looking at the sky that they felt was something similar to their husband's figure. But it was clearly impossible, even now it still feels that aura even though it is now vague.

“It was the devil's art. You guys know?” bing He said.

“No. Relia only knows that Asyura has the same thing as the one in the sky earlier.” Relia refers to what happened just a moment ago.

“That is the devil's art. Just like your husband, who now accidentally uses it or even has it. You should know, the man who lost both eyes in that war can no longer be used. Then you think, what causes him to still be able to see?”

Bing He alluded to the civil wars that once occurred in the middle east. Where the civil war ended when Ashura (Yongchun) defeated the KT leader Viona in the red sea.

Both of them understood the origin of the two eyes. Changes in Yongchun's self are also increasingly seen and felt more different. Not as usual even though the appearance, nature or anything else was unchanged. Even the way he thinks is the same. Although he sounded crafty, he had once manipulated his own memories in order to achieve something back then.

“Crow does know everything or what? I heard you are the emperor's subordinate who is here,” thought Nia, glancing cynically towards Bing He.

“Not knowing it too much. And well, I was already a former subordinate of that emperor. Now I stand in the same position as you. Relia and Nia, I hope someday if something happens to Asyura, you two can do something to help her.”

Without saying, the two of them will also help. Either the risk when the unification of the eastern country occurs or other things such as the cursed Eye of God.

Relia let out a long, cold sigh that she felt the more it felt. There were blood spots on the sword that he still held firmly.

Nia fell silent and looked back at the sky with a sad look on her face. It was as if they felt what their husband was feeling.

“Crow, you should also do the same if you intend to stand in the same position as us.” Reliably speaking, Bing He nodded his head without protest.

“I'll do anything for her. All the decisions that have been decided by him will not make me worry about thinking about it.” Before leaving, Bing He said something again in a soft voice. “Most importantly, I have already said something that might happen to Asyura. That Devil's art cannot be underestimated,”.

If asked where Bing He went, he entered the Wulan Palace through the back road. To be safe to meet Princess Yu Jie who is now in the room alone.

Bing He tapped softly on the small window of Yu Jie's room which then realized there was someone who was about to meet her.

“Bing He, what are the nights like?" yu Jie asked as he opened the window so that his voice could be heard.

“Sorry to disturb the Princess in the middle of the night like this. I just came here to make sure that Princess is okay. And it looks like Princess Yu Jie can't sleep?” bing He thought he gave a faint smile.

“Ah, really? It's okay, Princess Yu Jie was actually very tired. Take it easy, I will protect you and there are two warriors standing guard outside. Well, although soon they'll be gone.”

“Two warriors? I have no acquaintance of the swordsman who would help me the weak. If I'm pleased, may I know who they are?” yu Jie asked, he felt puzzled as well as astonished.

“Previous if offending. You were about to be married off by a man and he was the ruler of a middle eastern region called Asyura Father. And the two warriors on guard out there are his two wives,”, Bing He said.

“Why is that woman standing guard in front? I know I can't let you in because Dad won't let you. However, it's already midnight.” Anxiety on his face.

“Princesses don't need to feel shy. They are not there to serve a beloved husband in one bed. They also came because they knew that the unification of eastern countries was not that easy, so they could estimate the problems that commonly occur in each region.” Bing He chuckled.

Princess Yu Jie snorted discontentedly hearing her answer. Either way, the two wives were a woman who was supposed to stay at home waiting for their return. He did not usually know something like this, because besides Xie Xie, there were rarely other female warriors.

“Please forgive me. I was just trying to comfort Princess Yu Jie. You are stupid, naive and weak. Everyone knows that, plus you are among the whiny ones. Therefore, it is my duty to make the Princess' heart happy again,” said Bing He.

“You're good at playing words like your employer, yes. But I find it strange, why haven't you had a companion until now?” insinuations Yu Jie, it seems that he mocked.

“Yes, geez. I'm old enough. I didn't mean to tease Princess Yu Jie with all the sentences I just said. Just just entertaining,” explained Bing He.

Yu Jie chuckled at it, even though he knew what Bing He had said earlier.

At the southern end. The Goa that had already been found was destroyed due to demonic art. All the bodies that studied the demon arts earlier were crushed into ashes.

Leaders Wang, Li, Yang, and Xie stared at one of their next targets.

It was as if the gaze was meant to immediately finish off the same figure as the rebels who were inside the cave before.

Reluctant to stand up, Yongchun's legs felt limp. He just sat holding his two swords tightly with a trembling body and sweating coldly in this weather.

“I don't want to do this. But did he also learn demon arts?” leader Li asked as he flicked the paper fan, covering half his face.

“If true, it will definitely be treated the same. Remember, the Devil Art is taboo to our northeastern region. Nobody should use that. But he is also an outsider. What to consider?” sahut Xie's.

“Treat as we should do on "them" so that everyone is deterred from using that power arbitrarily.” Wang Xian gave the order.

While enduring the pain, Yongchun slightly pulled both ends of his lips, the little grin signifying he finally understood what Yang Jian had been commemorating before.
