The Swordsman of the Gods

The Swordsman of the Gods
106. Finding the Existence of Yongchun

Day 2, Nia and Relia are on the island of Nihonkoku.

Bright morning sun with a bluish sky. Nia exits Amiya's house to continue the search for Yongchun.

It had been some territory he passed and took several hours, long enough until his eyes were fixed on somewhere. On top of the hill was a temple, with streets lined with dozens of Tori.

When he got there, he found a man of great stature who was sitting in front of the temple. Seeing the sitting position with his legs folded, it seems he can not be contested at this time.

“Go. This place is not a suitable place for you,” he said then opened both eyes.

“Sorry disturb. I'm quite interested in the building behind you, so I came here.”

Shira, he is not a priest but just a person who lives there. The place is a temple that is rarely visited by residents.

“Oh, so. Sorry, I can't entertain here. But I am very surprised, because it has been the 2nd time this shabby temple visited by people who are not natives in this place.”

Shira changed her sitting position casually then she shifted her position slightly, then allowed Nia to sit next to her.

“No.” Nia raised her palm. “I have to keep my distance between men because I am married. Then I'll excuse you. Previous thank you.” Then bow your head and leave.

Right after Nia came down one rung of stairs. He called the man to ask him something he had almost forgotten.

“Ah, sorry. Have you ever met a blind man?”

Shira fell silent and recalled something again. After a while he remembered it, Shira looked at Nia with a suspicious look.

“You, who are the Eyes of Gods?”

Shira is a disciple of Romusha. He had a little bit of power from the Hand of Gods yet it was not completely. Clearly, he already knew the secrets and history of the Black God relating to the God Body Owners.

Including, a line of sentences stating that their descendants would replace the position of the deity of the Black God himself. God Ear called it a ban.

“Why is he looking at me like that? I'll just ask,” Inner Nia with annoyance.

“You didn't answer me? Answer while I can speak carefully.”

“I'm sorry. What do you mean God Eyes, does it have anything to do with the blind man I mean?”

“Yes. Thas right. He was the only blind stranger. He came 10 months ago. Is that really the man you're looking for? Because his name is Yongchun. If you don't remember wrong, anyway.”

“Ya, right. He Yongchun. Blind, obnoxious and disrespectful man. Kind-hearted, arrogant, and smart-ass. Honestly, I hate her,” Nia's teasing of her own husband. But that was also the truth for him.

“Tak as expected, you hate him so much. So what are you looking for?” ask Shira.

“Of course to collect debt,” he replied while turning back.

Seeing a suspicious man, of course Nia would not answer him honestly. He chose to hide it with lies so that he did not get involved in something that was still unclear.

Moreover, Yongchun's existence alone had become the center of attention for Shira. As much as possible Nia should be careful.

“Think who.”

Nia came down from the hill. When he found someone around, he immediately approached him.

“Excuse me, have you ever seen a blind man?”

“Blind man? I'm just a tavern owner and my eyes can still see, you!” Looks like this guy misunderstood Nia's intentions. He was suddenly indistinctly angry.

“Not so I mean. But, I was looking for a blind man,” said Nia explained back while holding both eyes as a hint.

The old man nodded his head for a few times then said, “Oh, so. Yeah, yeah, I know who he is. He's a brash man! Never look for him!”

“Eh? What did he do to Grandpa?” asked Nia with a restless face.

“What else?! He choked me with rainwater from his sword sheath. That guy is really brash!”

“Yes, rain! Water falling from the sky. Did you just know that season? Hence learn!”

“Haha, okay, cake. Um, then where is he? The blind man.”

“I don't know where he is anymore. Even though for years I won't forget that brash act!”

The longer the answer is the more you move away from the question. Nia wishes more for someone who truly remembers her.

But Nia won't give up until here.

“Last time grandpa saw it where?” Nia again asked in a soft voice while smiling faintly.

“Last time, huh? Hm ..maybe it was yesterday. Every day he passes by here. Sometimes he stares at the ocean and then comes back with a woman.”

“What!?” Surprised, Nia never thought about why there was always a woman next to her as she left.

“He's with women!?” yelled Nia once more.

“Iya!” Then the old man shouted.

The drap! The drap!

He walked quickly while gritting his teeth in annoyance. He continued to grumble because he still could not believe what he had just heard.

“He's playing girls again? Is he not bored? She almost got a pregnant woman in the east sea, and now who else? Really brash guy!”

Dak!

He accidentally kicked a small stone. Until it falls into the sea. Nia looked at him, then turned to look at the vast sea.

It was cold when Nia was silent in that place. Near the ocean did make him calm even if only for a moment.

Duk! Duk! Duk!

And again Nia vented her frustration by stomping her right and left legs alternately to the ground.

“Well, we meet again, huh? Miss?”

Come again Romusha. The one who was annoying to Nia. In Nia's annoyed mind, so as not to say the wrong words, she left without saying a word to him.

“Wait a minute! There's something I want to talk to you about!” cry Romusha while reaching out a hand that wants to pull Nia's shoulder.

Nah!

Nia brushes Romusha's hand before touching him. He stared intently while holding a dagger to his neck. So close to the tip of the dagger that it almost touched the vein, Romusha was silent without a twist.

“You talk what you are?”

“I heard you were looking for someone. Who her? Is your husband?” thought Romusha.

Nia raised her next to her eyebrows in surprise.

“If true why? You intend to help me? But there's no need. I already know where he is,” Nia said scruffily as she pulled a dagger from him.

“Is that? Too bad. I intend to help you. Who knows if I know him more than anyone else? He must be a swordsman too. I was pretty sure when I found out his wife was good at taking care of herself.”

“It's none of your business.”

As usual, Nia is always snubbed against all men. No exception with her own husband. Nia finally left Romusha still thinking about the real Yongchun with whom she was currently.

However, during her journey to find Yongchun again, Nia was followed by Romusha. All the time, all the way. Nonstop.

“Don't follow me!” nia shouted and ran towards the crowd.
