The Stupid Shaft

The Stupid Shaft
ACTUALLY WAS...

"Slow!!!"

One word came out of Deta's mouth, making Ricky like he was struck by lightning in broad daylight.

"Give me one more chance" said Ricky, hoping Deta would listen to him just once.

However, Deta's disappointment outweighs her love for Ricky who has just grown.

Deta removed the ring that was coiled on her finger, she grabbed Ricky's hand and placed the ring on Ricky's palm. "Thank you for everything, sir."

Ricky's tongue was twisted, he could no longer say anything. It felt, the dream that he had designed so beautifully had to be lost swept away by the storm without giving him the slightest chance.

Ricky can only watch his Detail walk away from him. "Reverse, please ...."

His hopes were in vain, Deta continued to walk with his family. The girl no longer wanted to look back.

Unbeknownst to Ricky, tears accompany every step Deta who away from him.

"Aaaarrrgghhhh ...," Ricky's heartbreaking screams echoed throughout the house that now felt hollow to him.

"Sir?" Gibran tries to talk to Ricky, because since returning from his chaotic wedding Ricky just yells without saying anything.

"Go!!!" snapped Ricky.

"But, Sir,"

"This is all your fault too! You are too careless, so Mika can escape your supervision!!!" Ricky yelled out his anger.

"I'm sorry, sir," Gibran couldn't deny, it shouldn't have happened if he had focused more on his work.

"Now, what am I supposed to do?" lirih Ricky, he began to shed tears feeling the pain.

"Give Miss Deta a little time, sir, maybe she'll be able to forgive you." suggested Gibran.

Ricky was seen weighing Gibran's words. "Alright," he murmured.

"Pa, why does everything have to be like this?" Rika's tears don't stop flowing.

Mr. Firman could only sigh to hear his wife's complaint, he himself was still too confused by what had just happened.

'I just hope, this incident won't change Ricky.' Inner sir Firman.

"Calm down, Ma, may things improve soon." comfort Mr. Firman.

"Hopefully, Pa," replied Rika.

"How do you feel about Deta now?" ask the Word.

"Mama's confused, Pa," Bu Rika wiped her tears. "If Mama defends Deta, it'll hurt Mika. But if Mama defends Mika, it'll hurt Deta." she said.

Mr. Firman nodded, agreeing with his wife's words. "But after all Deta is innocent, Ma" he said.

"Papa's right," Miss Rika chimed in. "Should we persuade her to stay married to Ricky?" tanyakanya.

"The question is not necessarily or not, Ma, but will Deta continue her marriage to Ricky?" ask the Lord doubtfully.

Rika's gaze looked up, considering how angry she was when she left the wedding.

"It feels, it's impossible, Pa." Bu Rica began to feel despair. "But is it really all that Mika said, Pa?" timpale.

"Come, Ma,"

In his room, Deta cried to the slightest. He regretted everything that happened today.

'If I didn't love him, it wouldn't hurt like this. Supposedly, I don't need to soar this high!' The inner Deta feels tight.

He released one by one the ornaments attached to his body along with the memories and beautiful hopes that only exist in his dreams.

"It turns out it's not that easy being a cinderella." she muttered as she wiped away the tears.

"Stupid... stupid... ..." he cried.

Tears kept flowing down his cheeks, without stopping.

Deta quickly changed her clothes and tidied everything up so that no one would be scattered.

The wedding dress and all the frills that were previously attached to the body of Deta, are now neatly wrapped in a large enough box.

Deta put on her jacket and took the box out of her room.

"What is that, brother?" ask Sarah who is sitting in the living room with Dito.

"The bridegroom, Ma," replied Deta briefly.

"What do you want?" Miss Sarah approached Deta who seemed to have difficulty carrying such a big box.

"I'm going to give it back to Mr. Ricky, because I don't want to keep it." Deta said.

"Let's put!" pinta ma'am Sarah, she led Deta to sit in a chair with her.

Sarah's mom held Deta's hand. "Are you sure? Don't you want to consider it again?"

"There's nothing to consider anymore, Ma," Deta let go of her hand. "I can't build a relationship on lies and disappointments. Because it will only eat away at the relationship from the inside and will easily destroy it." said Deta, his feelings were also destroyed saying that.

"I'm sorry, brother, because your Papa's past must be away from your soul mate." said Danang who suddenly was among them.

"No, Pa, it's all because I may not be a match for Mr. Ricky" Deta said, trying to smile even though his eyes looked puffy.

"Never blame yourself Papa again!" Deta hugged her father.

"It's all Papa's fault!!!" sulkan Dito who felt sorry to see his brother.

"Dec, it's all over! We have to start a new life. You have to forgive Papa so that we can live happily like we used to" Deta said expectantly.

Dito stared at his brother who was trying to stay strong in the middle of a storm that wiped out all his dreams and hopes.

"Pa.. May I ask you a question?" Deta's round eyes looked at the figure of the man she cared about the most.

Mr. Danang nodded. "What do you want to know?"

Deta looked at her mother and Dito. "Sorry, Ma... Dito, but we have to know everything if we want to be free from the past that has shackled our lives all along."

Ms. Sarah let out a long sigh, understanding the meaning of her daughter's words. "Alright," he replied.

"How, Deck?" deta asked Dito who was still looking at his father in anger.

"But, Brother," Dito seemed reluctant to listen to his father.

"It's possible that we've misunderstood Papa all along" Deta smiled at her father, trying to give his father strength.

Ricky walked into the Sanjaya family residence, from outside the mansion it looked lonely. However, Ricky knows for sure if the residents of the house are inside.

"Sit, Boy!" the commandment of the Word when he saw his son coming.

Earlier, Mr. Firman called Gibran and asked Ricky to come. He felt there was a lot to clear up.

"Just go ahead, Boy! What exactly is going on? Is everything Mika said true? And why did you cover it?" ask Mr. Firman, he caught no doubt in Ricky's eyes.

"Actually ...."
