The Stupid Shaft

The Stupid Shaft
POOR DITO

"Hellooo .. are there lives there?" Angga raises his hand in front of Ricky's face .

Since returning from the kitchen, Ricky seemed unfocused. This made Angga suspicious.

"My life is walking!" ketus Ricky while brushing the hands of Angga and Angga was chuckling.

"What's wrong?" asked Angga while gulping down his drink.

Ricky breathed a rough breath, "nothing" said Ricky weak even barely heard by Angga.

Ricky leaned his head against the back of the sofa and closed his eyes.

"Ga?"

"Yes?" Angga looked at Ricky who was still closed.

"What's it like to be in love?"

Angga looked confused and surprised to hear Ricky ask such a thing.

"Why are you asking like that?"

"Just a prank,"

"Then, why ask me?"

Ricky opened his eyes and straightened his body to stare at Angga. He saw Angga who was still confused.

"Curtain!!! Don't pretend to be innocent in front of me! Among the three of us, you know best what love is." said Ricky.

Angga smiled cynically.

'Really! I'm the one who understands what heartache feels like.'

Deta entered his home with a smile full of happiness. He thought he would take Dania for a walk because he had already earned his wages this month.

But what happened was the opposite. Deta saw Dania crying in the corner of the room and saw Dito raising his hand up.

"Dito!!!" Deta immediately approached Dito and lowered her hand.

"You hit Dania?" Deta's breath was wheezing with anger.

Dito turned his face, reluctant to answer or look at Deta.

"Jawab, Deck!" deta's voice weakened.

Because Dito did not answer him, Deta moved towards Dito staring to see his face.

Again Dito turned his face away. Angrily Deta held Dito's face with both hands.

"Jawab, Deck! You hit Dania?" Deta looked into Dito's eyes. Trying to find answers there.

"That kid should have gotten more than just a punch!!!" shout Dito.

Aplaakkk!!!

Deta's hand landed on Dito's face. Deta was surprised by what he was doing, he stared at his reddened palm.

Realizing what he had done was wrong, Deta tried to touch Dito's cheek but his hand was immediately brimmed by his sister.

"By him!!!" Dito pointed at Dania who looked trembling with fear.

"By him brother even slapped me!!!" Dito shouted but this time around with tears flowing from his cold eyes.

"Sorry, Deck, Brother didn't mean ...."

"That's it. Big brother always defends this bastard child carrier!!!" Dito was about to approach Dania but his hand was held by Deta.

Dito turned his head and saw Deta faintly shaking her head with teary eyes holding back tears.

"What's this?" There was a voice very familiar to the three of them.

"Father!" Dania hugged her father.

"Urus the papa's son! Don't just bother!!!" Dito passed to his room.

BRAAKKK!!!

Dito slammed the door of his room hard, making Deta and his father look up.

Without Deta wanting, a single grain of water escaped from her eye patch.

Danang Riady is a very successful businessman. He has one daughter who is already growing up and a son who is still a teenager.

And his wife, Sarah Riady. She is a housewife whose activities are only taking care of her two children.

Their lives are perfect, though far from luxurious, but they live happily.

Until one day came an old woman who was carrying a little girl with clean white skin and narrow eyes.

The old woman said that the child's mother was dead and asked her to bring the child to her father. Danang Riady. Dad Deta and Dito.

Since then. No more Deta the slacker. No more Sarah's mother full of tenderness. And no more Dito the active and cheerful boy.

"It's all Papa's fault, brother." Mr. Danang's face bowed before his daughter.

Deta couldn't bear to see her father lose his wife like this.

In his hands both of his father's. "Pa, everyone has made a mistake in their life. But not everyone wants to admit their mistakes. And papa... "The master forced his smile. "Papa great man who's willing to admit a mistake and willing to fix it."

Mr. Danang looked at his daughter. Thinking how lucky he was to have a daughter like Deta. If it wasn't for Deta, she might have lost her family and her little daughter.

"Thank you, Brother." On his trunk is Deta's long hair.

Deta, longing for her father's treatment like that, could no longer hold back her tear dam.

"Papa's dear map." Deta hugged her father while sobbing like Dania when she was angry with Dito.

Dito is not wrong, brother. Dania is naughty. Dania play fire. Dito said it's gonna be a fire.

But Dito's brother didn't hit Dania, brother.

Brother has to apologize.

Guilt instantly filled the chest cavity of Deta as soon as Dania told her the real thing happened.

During this time, Deta never got angry let alone hit his sister. It is only fitting that Dito looks very disappointed with the treatment of Deta earlier.

'Dania's right. I have to apologize, he thought.

That night, before going to bed Deta tried knocking on Dito's bedroom door.

Dito opened the door but just stared at Deta without saying a word.

"Can't you come in?" The typical warm and cheerful smile of Deta was already painted on his face.

But Dito did not budge. Even the look on his face was unreadable.

But Deta still forced his way in without waiting for the room owner's permission.

"Sir, you remember when we were kids. Mama and papa put us in one room with a bunk bed. You remember, right?" Deta asked enthusiastically. But Dito did not react.

"You love to have your sister sleep in bed because you're afraid of falling. Though you only prank Brother because you know Big Brother is afraid of heights." Deta tried to laugh but was ignored by Dito.

"But now, we have our own rooms, huh? Have privacy." each." Deta sat down on the side of Dito's bed and rubbed the side next to him.

Seeing Dito who was still silent at Deta's behavior, made Deta take a deep breath.

Deta got up and walked over to Dito who was still standing in the doorway and looked at her brother in annoyance.

'Don't think I could be persuaded like that?' Dito's inner self feels careless to see his brother's behavior.

"So, I'm sorry, Dek," Deta looked at her sister with a clear face.

"For what?" Dito finally made his voice.

"For everything. Sorry, Brother doesn't believe you. Sorry, Brother won't listen to you. And I'm sorry that your brother is so cute." Deta spoke with a serious face.

Hearing his brother who was so confident, made Dito could no longer be angry with his brother.

Dito snorted and then smiled.
