Chapter 3: Concerns

Anxiety envelops the Plumsen family mansion at night.

Rigel was lying in bed, next to him a doctor was examining him. The doctor opened Rigel's eyes. Not to forget also the doctor held Rigel's wrist and examined his pulse.

Elsewhere family members wait in the guest room. Each of them is waiting for the examination performed by the doctor.

Annie who sat on the sofa unceasingly wiped her tears while being accompanied by her daughter beside her

Jennie tried to calm her mother who was overwhelmed with sadness and worry. "Mother calm down, Rigel must be fine."

Benny asked. "Doctor what really happened to Rigel?"

The doctor answered him. "I do not know for sure the cause of the stings, there are no external or internal injuries to the patient."

"But Doctor will my son be okay?" asked Annie anxiously.

"The patient is fine, in a few hours the patient will be awake."

"Thank you Doctor" said Bernard.

"Then I go first, tomorrow I will come again to do the examination."

"Okay doctor, once again I thank you" Bernard told the doctor.

The doctor bowed his head slightly and then left.

After that Annie immediately went to the room where Rigel was treated along with Jennie.

Bernard and Benny were waiting in the guest room.

"Dad, what do you think happened to Rigel?"

"Seeing that big bang and the condensin from Rigel it's likely that it came from where the magic overflowed and then exploded."

"Where did it explode??"

"Yes, and usually it happens to dark element magicians."

Annie and her daughter Jennie are in the room where Rigel is being treated.

Rigel who was lying in bed was still unconscious. Next to her Annie sat holding her son's hand.

"Rigel quickly wake up, don't make me worry."

"Mother calm down, remember what the Doctor said that Rigel will soon be conscious."

"Thank you, Jennie, but I still feel worry."

"Mom... ."

"You know first, when the rigel was a toddler. She had a severe fever, so I thought Rigel wouldn't survive, but I'm grateful that he's okay and now-"

Annie stopped her conversation and stroked Rigel's hand.

I feel like my right hand is over something. Slowly opening my eyes, checking in the direction where my hand felt discomfort.

I saw my mother sleeping in a sitting position with my hand as a crutch on her face.

My mom immediately called me.

"Rigel thank God you've come to your senses, I'm very worried" said my mother, with tears in her eyes.

"Mother I'm fine. No need to worry".

I lifted my body, rubbing the tears on my mother's cheeks.

"Mother doesn't need to apologize, I should be the one apologizing for not being able to be what you want, but I'm also glad that you understand now, Mother ... regardless of my status I want to be myself".

"Thank you Mother."

Then we hugged each other again, it was cold tonight. However, I felt a warmth that I had felt before

But then I realized something. "Where is my mother now?"

"You're in my mom's room."

Four days later my condition started to improve and I was able to do my usual activities.

"Yes Rigel, you have to go to the academy immediately to continue your studies" replied Jennie.

"Don't forget to send a letter" my mother said.

Jennie answered. "Yes my mother I will definitely send you a letter."

"I'll send you a letter soon when I get to you later" exclaimed Benny.

My father smiled and said.

"Mom and Dad will wait for the letter".

Then Benny's gaze turned towards me, his hands holding both of my shoulders.

"Rigel, you just wait, after my job is done I'll train you."

My dad beat Ben "Benny, you just focus on your job, Rigel let me take care of you."

I'm appalled. "Eh!!... Father ."

Brother Ben then took his grip off my shoulder and I immediately ran, cheering behind my mother.

"Okay Dad, I leave it to you. "sister Benny looks at me with a smile. "Rigel, Dad's training will be even more scary" said Brother Ben as he blinked his eyes.
