Chapter 20: Why?

That night's show ended at 11 p.m. Zee who had just sat in a chair now seemed to move when one by one the students had dispersed out of the building.

The girl went down the altar ahead of Davian and the others. In the corner of the room, Kaivan who had been watching Zee also finally got up and walked after Zee.

"Dam!!" "Chelle."

Zee flinched as both of his hands were choked by two different people. To the left of Zee is Delice and to the right is Kaivan who is now looking at him with sharp eyes.

"Please take your hand." Tell Kaivan to Delice in a cold tone.

The frightened Delice immediately lowered her hand and ran to the back of Arkhan who was standing not far from where Zee and Kai were. In another corner there are Davian, Nathan, Zergan and Sassya who are also staring in wonder at Zee and Sassya.

"They know each other?" Nathan asked Davian.

Davian shrugged his shoulders."I don't know."

"Eh, where do you want to take it?" Shocked Nathan when he sees Zee being pulled out by Kaivan.

Davian who was shocked immediately rushed down following the younger brother. Behind him Sassya also wanted to catch up but was held back by Zergan.

"Don't bother them." Said Zergan coldly. The man seems sensitive if there is a problem between Kai and Zee. And that's why he doesn't want Sassya to interfere.

"Ck!! After all, you won't bother." Sassya was a little rebellious with one hand trying to let go of Zergan's grasp.

Zergan tightened his check on Sassya's hand. "Stay here I say!"

Said Zergan slightly snapping, Sassya finally shrieked as well especially when she saw Arkhan and the others coming to look at her sharply. Inevitably Sassya ended up standing on the spot. Seeing Sassya who had been according to Zergan also released the check.

"Why are you guys?" Agatha and Clara who had just come from the toilet were immediately astonished when they saw her friends standing on the altar with a strange look.

Nathan pulled Clara and Agatha closer to him."You two I'm anterin home huh. It's late." Nathan said briefly.

"But.." Clara was about to protest but stopped when she saw Arkhan, Delice and the others also coming down from the altar.

Moreover, the look on Arkhan and Delice's face seemed less friendly than usual.

"This is why?" Inner Agatha.

Behind them, Sassya sped up her pace to catch up to the outside. He was a little worried about his two brothers who had already come out earlier.

On the other hand, Kaivan still continues to pull Zee into the elevator,behind him Davian tried to catch up as quickly as possible but he lost quickly so he now had to wait in front of the closed elevator door.

"Damn!!" Davian.

In the elevator, Kai and Zee are now engaged in a cold war. Their hands clasped each other but none of them opened their voices.

"Well.." Kaivan gave a short breath.

Slowly Kai's head turned towards Zee who seemed to be silent with his flat look.

"Clear." Say Kai in a cold tone.

"What?"

"Everything!"

"Isn't it clear?"

"So this is what you mean by family?"

Zee is flirting short."I just saw Kai's cover."

"Gue wants to clear everything?"

"What do you want to clear again? It's late too, right?"

"Kai,dengerin me. I'll explain everything the same way someday but not now."

"When? What all of your words can I still believe? About the bokap lo who he said no longer care about the same lo, about the brother lo who he said cared more about the younger brother lo, or about the step sister lo and her mother who worked on nyingkirin lo? Which one should I trust? What did you say or what did I see?"

"Everything is not as easy as you might imagine Kai. Don't impulse something without knowing the roots. Everything I said was true, but it happened when I was a kid, now it's still the same but I'm slowly changing myself to balance them. You won't understand Kai."

"Fine Chelle!! I really won't understand. I never knew anything about you because you never told me, 8 years I know you only know about you have family problems. Just it's. You shut everything out of me."

"Gue did not mean to close Kai, just the timing is not right for me to tell a story."

" Let's think of me what exactly? A pal? A fella? Or a stranger? Lo liar Chelle!!"

"Kai!!" Zee could not believe that the man who had been her backrest could say such a harsh thing.

"What's? Do you want to avoid if all my words are not true? I saw my own eyes tonight Chelle. Your relationship with your family is good.  What else do you want to cover?"

Zee shook his head and chose to pull Kai's hand out of the elevator because they had already reached the bottom floor.

"Gue will be clear but not here."

Said Zee slowly, he accelerated his pace until now they were in the parking lot.

Kaivan threw out Zee's hand violently."There's nothing to explain, you've seen it all."

"What you see is only one of the few things you don't know about Kai!! Even let alone lo,gue himself just do not understand what really happened to my family a dozen years ago."

Kaivan was silent at Zee's words.

"Chelle, you know all this time I've been dying to find out all about you secretly. But since I sincerely want to be an important part of your life, you're trying to hold on."

Kaivan couldn't answer a word. His brain is at war right now, on the one hand he is still angry because Zee was dishonest from the beginning but on the other hand he can also understand Zee's position.

"Gue needs time for this pahamin of all Chelle."

Kaivan turned around to leave Zee. But Zee immediately held Kai's hand and held it tightly.

"Lo promised never to leave me Kai. Why are you so like this."

Kaivan turned his body to face Zee,"Hei. Look at me.gue won't miss you. I just need time to understand your position,okay? Don't cry. I'm sorry."

Kaivan wiped the corner of Zee's eyes that turned watery and instantly pulled the girl into his arms.

"Sorry."
