The Story is Not Over
Evelyn's Desire

Devan saw Evelyn sitting on a long bench and looking ahead where the fountain was still crowded at the visitors to throw coins.

"How many coins have you thrown," Devan said sharply, until Evelyn chuckled.

Obviously Devan is afraid Evelyn throws three coins and she will get married soon, although Devan actually does not need to worry because Evelyn will not easily get married just like that.

"If I could I would come every day and beg for my wish to be granted."

Devan snorted "Then what do you want?" Evelyn narrowed her eyes.

"That's confidential.. If I speak, my prayer will not be answered."

"You just have to ask me, I'll give you." Evelyn smiled then looked back at the Trevi fountain in front of her.

Lucky when Devan contacted her Evelyn was already on her way home, until Devan was not suspicious, but Evelyn did not dare to raise her call until she really arrived at the fountain.

Evelyn sighed, she recalled the moment her two eyes saw her mother who was pushing the grass and went to the back of her house, from what Evelyn knew from the taxi drivers in the area almost everyone worked as a rancher, did they fall poor until they had to work hard, he said, in the past, despite living a simple life but his parents never do menial work, his father had a convection business although not too big but managed to finance their lives even college Evelyn, his father had a convection business, despite not graduating because of Evelyn who made them disappointed by getting pregnant out of wedlock and expelled. Recalling those memories again and again Evelyn felt a pain in her heart, if she had not been foolish and entangled in lust for a moment and let down her master's people, she said, maybe now he's been working and making his parents proud.

'Mother, I'm sorry.' Evelyn wanted to come and kneel down apologizing but she was afraid, afraid of being driven away and making bad memories come back in their minds, and made them grieve.

"Where are you going now?" devan's words pulled Evelyn back from her daydream.

"Hmm I'm hungry." No, Evelyn wasn't hungry, she didn't even feel lust for real food, but she didn't want to travel either, nor was her intention to come there for a walk or a vacation as Devan said, but Evelyn just wants to see her parents.

"All right, let's have dinner." Devan grabbed Evelyn by the hand and pulled her, but Evelyn did not move.

"I want to throw a coin into the fountain.."

"Eve.. How many coins have you put in." Evelyn laughed, she knew Devan was afraid of the myths circulating but Evelyn also did not care even though she put three coins married not her wish, and since come Evelyn had not thrown a coin at all, because Devan came first.

"Sttt quiet!." Evelyn walked towards the fountain and reached into her pocket looking for a coin.

"Please give me the courage to meet them." Evelyn muttered inwardly, then tossed the coin.

Devan was so curious as to what Evelyn was asking, that the woman closed her eyes sincerely before throwing her coins into the pool.

Devan could see Evelyn's tear drop before it opened again, and smiled.

Evelyn again walked towards Devan and held her hand "Come on.. What restaurant are we going to."

...

Devan invites Evelyn to dinner at a restaurant not far from the Trevi fountain, not wanting to make Evelyn wait long because hungry, Devan chooses the closest restaurant they can go.

Until Evelyn finished her meal, Devan watched Evelyn "Why pay attention to me like that?"

"When I didn't notice you." Evelyn clucked.

Devan clasped Evelyn's hand "Listen to Eve, I know you still don't believe me, but can we share.. I really want to make you happy."

Evelyn was stunned, but how could Devan make her courage appear.. He just wanted to meet and hug his mother and father.

Seeing the sweaty look of her mother made Evelyn want to cry.

Evelyn did intend to just want to see from afar, but when she saw suddenly her greed appeared, she was so eager to hug her two masters.

Evelyn smiled then put away Devan's hand "I want to go to the toilet."

Seeing Evelyn's back away Devan could only sigh in resignation, Evelyn still hadn't opened her heart to him, so surely she wouldn't say anything of her will.

When Evelyn was unseen, someone patted Devan on the shoulder until Devan turned to "Oh, right I guess I saw wrong, it was you.." a man in formal tatters followed a few people behind him greeting Devan.

Devan stood up and smiled, "Hallo, Mr. Willy."

"How do you like his room.."

"Thank you for the banquet, Mr. Willy, it's lucky you called at the right time, so we don't have to bother looking for a hotel anymore."

"No doubt, my hotel is also in several other countries, if there is a country you want to visit tell me.."

"Thank you.." Devan is also unlikely to continue to trouble Mr. Willy, just by chance when they are about to depart Lord Willy calls him, and Devan says that he is on his way to Rome, then Mr. Willy offers a hotel that is quite strategic for them, a coincidence again if Willy is in the Italian capital, until now they can meet.

"You're having dinner?" Willy looked around but could not find any women among them.

"My wife is going to the toilet.." Devan looked towards the toilet and Evelyn had not yet appeared.

"Alright, next time I'll invite you to dinner at my villa.. I'm really curious about the woman who made you crazy."

Devan chuckles "You're forbidden to fall in love with her." Devan said in a joking tone, until Willy could only laugh.

"But I'm sure she's not as charming as the woman who rejected me.." The two laughed, a laugh that was elegant enough not to make the surroundings flinch.

"Alright, take your time to come to my villa, Mr. Devan, and remember I insist."

Devan nodded as he chuckled "Surely, with great pleasure sir." Willy left after returning to pat Devan on the shoulder.

Evelyn's eyes looked at the back of a man sitting in her chair and before Evelyn got closer the man was up and gone, Evelyn could not see the man's face until he left, but he felt that his back was familiar. "Who?" ask when you get to the chair and sit back.

"Owner of the hotel we're occupying.."

"Oh, shouldn't we thank you?" Evelyn remembered the room they occupied was very complete and nice, not to mention this they could grudgingly, did they indeed have to thank you.

Devan nodded "Yes, and we're invited to dinner next time.."

"Oh, okay."
