THE STONE THAT LOVES

THE STONE THAT LOVES
Cousin Like a Stone

I began to maintain my diet, traditional medicine I still live every day by drinking the ingredients I made myself on the advice of recipes from my mother. My mother had to keep working in the people's city because of the demands of the need.

So far my condition has started to improve, although sometimes the pain suddenly comes without permission, but the rhythm is not as often as before.

Time goes by so quickly without saying hello, one level I have passed and now like a dream, I am able to be on the second level of SLTA in my condition which is not okay.

The morning sun greeted warmly, as if giving more spirit energy to undergo a very solid Sunday morning activity.

As usual preparing breakfast was the first schedule I had to finish before the hunger came knocking without a greeting.

Just a step towards the kitchen door, I was surprised to find a tall, white and flap-haired man who was making coffee. He did not realize I was behind him, watching closely while wondering suspiciously.

"who's he?" thought curious.

When he turned around, it was more shocking to me that the one in front of me was my cousin. I still easily recognized her flat face, after decades of not meeting her.

"Aaaah, it's an unlucky day to see him again", my mind curses incessantly like meeting old enemies and then grows a sense of cursing.

Want me to force him to realize that this house is inhabited, why can he enter without permission by arrogantly passing by without saying hello.

Well, his name is Abi, my cousin who is as hard as a rock.

She was eight years older than me but for whatever reason she was not married yet, probably because no woman would want to be with a stone man like him.

Abi returned home to none other because there is a goal that is to help the project of making his parents' house.

As always, though, during the holidays I just keep silent in the room reading what I can read even though I sometimes get tired of reading it over and over again but what is the power I do not have activities that I can do with peers when holidays arrive.

Unknowingly Abi entered my room

"charger's?" tanyakanya.

Suddenly I was shocked the umpteenth time because of his appearance which was always suddenly like a demon.

"nothing" I answered briefly and he just walked out without a word.

"Oh my God, did you create this one creature in a different way so that it was shaped like this" I said in my heart.

Evening came, the sense of silence became more and more sometimes I sit beside the window while thinking about how my future will be whether the same as dark night or bright as the warm morning sun.

Every night without a day I learned to do schoolwork but suddenly it rained unexpectedly cold air began to enter my small bone cavities so as to suppress the pain in my body.

"it looks like my pain is relapsing" I said in my heart.

I tried to lie down for a while but my body was getting shivering and there was pain in the upper part of the heart that was pumping the stomach to get something out.

"hoek, hoek, hoek, sure enough I vomited blood again" as soon as my body went limp, my eyes shaded and I was unconscious.

About 45 minutes I was unconscious and woke up to find my body covered with a thick cloth that made me comfortable because it created the warmth that I really needed when conditions like this.

I called my grandmother but it was Abi who came.

"need something?" ask her flatly

"grandmother is asleep, she is tired and worried waiting for you who are not aware, I told her to rest" Abi replied with full explanation while sitting next to my bed.

I lay back to sleep, but the hunger began to break my stomach and get rid of the prestige within me.

"I'm hungry" I said, still turning my back to Abi, and then Abi came out without a word.

I began to be upset that I regretted saying that I should not forget that this person before me was not a human but a stone.

A few minutes later he came back into the room with a plate of rice with side dishes I don't know where he got the food that I just know, I just know, my stomach now needs intake so that I have energy to move tomorrow.

Abi sat down and looked at me sharply, although my distance to her was a little far apart, but I could tell her eyes were full of curiosity that was awake with her calm style.

"It's done" I said by thrusting the plate right in front of his face so as to make him reflex and avoid, like the fear of the plate being thrown in his flat face.

"Child today, no manners", he said as he carried the plate out of the room.

I was happy to see him upset like that "meaning he now lives in old age, so he is aging" I said softly accompanied by laughter.

After eating and sitting for a while, I felt my drowsiness began to come, I also began to close my eyes to go to sleep and rest so that tomorrow could be faster to get up early and not bad when going to school.

When I wanted to turn around suddenly Abi was sitting quietly beside the bed.

"Satan" I said in shock by pulling my blanket up to the height of my head to cover my entire body.

"Hmmm" he muttered and pulled my blanket that covered my face.

"Why is he still here? I'm full and want to sleep" I asked Abi.

He got up and left without giving an answer.

"He is not a demon, but more than a devil.he is not an ordinary demon but a demon-created" I muttered with his vague and continued attitude to sleep.

This morning I was so lazy to wake up, of all the days I hated was Monday, where I would definitely be punished for coming to school late for the flag ceremony.

Sometimes I have tried to leave early in the morning so as not to be late, but still I must always be late.

As usual I prepared my school uniform and my sister that I had tidied up yesterday, after which prepared breakfast for my sister and set off on foot to the transportation route towards my school.

When I came out there was an abi outside sitting in a coffee and playing with his phone.

"Udah is getting sick" Abi asked, still focusing on her phone.

"Udah" I answered briefly and left.

Along the way I hummed to eliminate the fear of the lonely atmosphere, the pace of my steps accelerated so as to be able to catch up with time so as not to miss the public transportation school line.

"Tiiiit, tiiiit, tiiiit" the sound of a motor horn rang behind me.

I tried to move aside, maybe my steps were too in the middle.

"Tiiiiit, tiiiiit, tiiiit" the voice grew more and more frequent and incessant, I began to fear and would not look back.
