Ray swiftly turned off the alarm that rang loudly on his bedside nightstand. Ray did not want to wake up someone who was sleeping next to him.

Ray swiftly carried Ryn and placed in the living room of his apartment that had been transformed as a playground. There was no sofa in the room. There is only a soft expanse of thick carpet and some toys such as wooden blocks, pillow books, small chairs. Not to forget Ray put a guardrail in his play area so that his child who was having fun crawling, sneaking into the kitchen.

"Ryn was here first. Papa wants milk angelin first." Said Ray.

As if understanding, Ryn immediately crept towards his toy block and began to grasp his toy while looking at it in amazement then threw it in any direction

The sound of the doorbell rippled Ray's daydream. Rushing Ray opened the door while holding Ryn

"Assalamu'analykum.."

Ray smiled welcoming the two people standing in front of the door of his apartment

"Dad, Papa. Come inside." Ray said as he widened the door

"Haai Opa's granddaughter cantiik. Another drink of milk?" Say hello to Daniel while showing a funny face in front of Ryn. The baby grinned without letting go of his pacifier

"This is Papa bringing food. You may not have had lunch because you were busy taking care of Ryn." Daniel said again, putting down a bag of food

"Yes, both great grandchildren." Ardhi smiled and looked at Ray

"You're great, Bang. Can take care of a child all day without asking for help."

Ray chuckled while sipping his cold drink "Kan once a week, Dad. Not every day either."

"Heah, if Papa might have been back and forth calling your mama if you were Ray." Joking Daniel

Ray laughed a little. Ray wanted to call Zalynda. But the situation is different..

Ardhi saw the look on Ray's face slightly changed. Ardhi immediately patted his eldest son's shoulder with a smile

Ray just nods his ass off while taking Ryn from Ardhi's sling for fear that Ryn's biscuits are dirtying Ardhi's clothes. Ray stood up while holding Ryn who was still busy packing his biscuits

Suddenly the front door opened. The women's voices were heard as Ray's apartment door opened.

"Well.well, the fathers are waiting for him." Aya said as she stepped into Ray's apartment. Following Farah who directly approached Ryn in Ray's arms

"Ryn's not fussy Ray?" Farah asked while teasing the baby girl

"No ma. It's really good." Ray said while looking at the door.

Ray's heart was racing let alone looking at Ian's gray face. Without thinking, Ray immediately stood up

"Mr Ray!" Ian shouted when he saw Ray collapse. Ian quickly approached Ray who was holding his head

"What's all right?" Ian asked again while looking anxiously at Ray. Ray shakes. His head hurt, his vision spinning. Cold sweat began to wet his temples

"Abang to the top. Please help brother, Yan.." Ray said as he raised his hand so Ian could pull it. Ian quickly put Ray's hand on his shoulder

"Don't you, you're pale." said Ian as he stared at the horror towards Ray who was beside him

Ray did not answer. His stomach is churning. His head hurts more with his ears ringing

"Bang sure is strong up..." Ian's voice sounded distant. Ray heard nothing after everything went dark

Ray squinted his eyes as thousands of lights pierced into his eyes.

"Nggh glare." said Ray quietly

"Alhamdulillah..your brother is conscious?"

Aya's voice was heard near Ray. Is this a dream? Ray blinked his eyes to get the light into his eyes. The first thing he saw was the gentle face of Aya who was smiling towards him

"Mother.." whispered Ray.

Ray tried to get up but his body felt limp. Ray clenched his forehead when he felt his head still feel heavy and his hands felt sore

"Eh, don't move much. Brother fainted two days ago.." Aya prevents Ray's movements and makes his eldest son re-energize

After feeling his gaze clear, Ray scanned the room where he was lying. The hospital's distinctive smell and the infusion placed on his hands indicate he is not doing well

"What's the matter, mother?" Ray asked while looking at the hanging infusion. Aya sighed softly

"Abang fainted. The doctor said it was likely not eating and stress." said Aya while offering drinks to Ray. Ray nodded slowly

Slowly Ray's memory was collected. Ray's eyes grew bigger while looking at Aya

"Zalynda.mother, Zalynda!" Said Ray. The young man tried hard to get up

"Abang, relax. You need to heal first." Aya said while holding Ray's body

"No, mother. brother wants to see Zalynda. How's he doing? What's.." Ray's choked. He had fainted for two days. As long as he doesn't know Zalynda's situation.

Ray immediately cupped his face with both hands. Body vibrates. Two days ago the doctor had already said the worst possible and may have already happened. Ray faints so badly that he may not be able to get Zalynda to her resting place

Aya sighed softly. Before the woman spoke, Ray's bedroom door opened..

"No ma. It's really good." Ray said while looking at the door.

Zalynda appeared holding a sleeping 8-month-old baby boy in a blue blanket that read "Nizzam Alvarezi".
