Chie Xie immediately cast a spell then unleashed his ice magic to attack Tan Zuo Ming.

Tan Zuo Ming looked relaxed and with his mouth he blew air so that a burst of strong wind created which returned all the ice needles towards Chie Xie.

Chie Xie immediately made a protective shield as well as pushed his father away. "Dad hurry in and take mom away!" said Chie Xie who was trying to resist the backlash from his own magic.

Of course Yuan Xia didn't just comply because he didn't want anything to happen to his daughter, it was just that Chie Xie who was still trying to survive still urged Yuan Xia to leave on the grounds that otherwise he would not be able to concentrate on fighting if his father was still by his side.
