It seems that Isshin's encounter with Urahara was not an accident as depicted in the original story. Instead, Urahara observed first before choosing to help.

Kisuke looked at Roja for a while before asking: "Can I know what noble is doing here?"

Roja is the current Kido Grand Chief Soul Society, but she appears here and does not go to rescue Isshin, and she does not seem to be under Aizen as she is hidden even from him.
