In the new World, Shanks' crew can fight against Kaido alone, they are as strong as the Mink tribe or stronger. This alone made Shanks' crew much better than the monsters.

But other than Kaido and his crew, there were many pirates from all over the world who attacked Zou to obtain the Road Poneglyphs.
