The Sequel of the Hunter: The Guardians

CHAPTER 17: The Bitter Reality.

There was a handsome young man, and a little girl walking on the sidewalk holding hands. The young man was wearing a black hoodie jacket, and long black jeans. The little girl was wearing a yellow jacket, and she was wearing a glasses hat, and a mask.

They were none other than Peter and Lisa who were walking around and disguised in the center of the city. Lisa is advised to go undercover by Reyhan, because after hearing Budi's previous story she felt herself being played with by the Silver Guild Company she was following. So, for security, Lisa had to go undercover when going out.

Lisa is still with Peter. They were both taking a walk downtown. During the trip, Lisa always throws questions that make Peter must be smart to speak to answer all questions from the little girl, precisely he lied.

Because every question asked by Lisa must be related to her and the others. Plus makes this little girl curious about the condition of the abandoned Hotel before it gets better. Lisa knows what the world is like, and what Hunter is.

But still, a 10-year-old little girl must have a high curiosity what she saw. So as much as possible, Peter is smart to answer that makes sense even though he is lying. Where might he answer, if he and the others are from the Other World.

Now they sit in one of the long chairs in the city park. Lisa, open her mask without taking off her hat and sunglasses. He sat down and ate ice cream. While Budi, he was sitting next to him, just looking around the garden.

"Actually, where do you live and the others where ?" lisa asked again after putting her ice cream plastic cup next to her.

Peter looked over and looked at this little girl. "Hm.e., we can say from a very distant place." in his mind, he was ready with words to answer the question of this son of a Jew.

"Very far away ? Where ?" lisa asked again.

"You know Lisa, there's a lot of places you don't know" Peter replied.

"I know all the names of places in the world, Brother. Even though I've never been there." Lisa replied.

"really ? Maybe there's still a place you know" Peter said.

"Where is possible, brother. In this World there are only 3 Continents, and 15 Countries." Lisa replied.

Hearing the little girl's reply, Peter recalled, All about the world was from Budi who explained it this morning. It is true, in the D-22 World there are only 3 Continents.

"Hm. Lisa.., have you ever heard the words, 'above the sky, there's still the sky' ?" ask Peter.

"Ear." said Lisa.

"Do you know what those words mean ?" ask Peter again.

Lisa nodded her head. "When we feel great or clever, don't forget that there are still others who are greater or smarter than us."

"But, what is the relationship with the residence of Big Brother and the others ?" he added.

Peter answered. "Of course it has something to do with it. For example, of all people already know all the places in this World, there are even those who go there. But without them knowing it, there is still another place, which is not known to everyone."

"So, there's still a hidden place ?" ask Lisa.

Peter and nodded his head. Lisa asked again. "And brother and the others came from that place."

Peter smiled again. Lisa is speaking again. "Well, I'm curious."

Lisa did not answer. He stared at a large building across the street. Peter also turned his head and read the writing in the building, then he muttered. "Brown ?"

"That's a branch of the Brown Guild Company. And I hate it." Lisa replied coldly.

Peter scrunched his forehead. She did not expect that a 10-year-old little girl could speak with such an attitude. Yes, he understood what a Guild Company was, because Budi had previously explained it.

Peter tried asking. "If you may know, why do you hate this company ?"

"What we're looking at right now, is just the branch. The center is just outside the city. This Brown Guild Company is the owner of my mother's new husband." Lisa replied in her flat tone. Behind his sunglasses, his gaze loathed towards the Company building.

Peter who heard it was shocked. "Your mother's new husband ? Your birth mother ?"

Lisa nodded her head. "To be exact, her current husband was her affair."

An unexpected statement by Peter. Peter and the others because they still do not know the past. They initially thought that Budi had become a widower after his wife died, so they did not dare to ask about his past. Lisa said it herself.

"We know this from your father ?" ask Peter.

Lisa shook her head. "My father only told me that my mother had died."

Peter was amazed to hear. He thought Budi told him, and he didn't. Because according to him, a father will tell the secret of his past at the right time when his daughter has grown up, or certain circumstances. "Then you know who ?"

"I accidentally came across a wedding photo of my father and my mother while I was cleaning the warehouse at the rented house" Lisa replied.

Lisa recounted finding the photo while she was cleaning the warehouse and while Budi was working outside. That was about 2 years ago. Because all this time the father never told me about his mother's face. So he decided to keep it to himself, and did not tell Budi.

A few weeks later, one day when he came home from school, he didn't come straight home, he came to the bookstore. He was looking for a book that only existed in the city center. Inevitably he set out alone with the capital for which he had been collecting.

After getting the book that Lisa was looking for, she went to the park that she is currently visiting with Peter. He intended to relax in the city park before returning home. And at that moment he saw a beautiful adult woman coming out of a luxury car in front of the building, which was none other than the Brown Guild Company.

Lisa knows the woman's face, because the photos she finds are always taken anywhere. He ran over to the woman who was none other than his real mother. As it turned out, it was not the warm welcome or warm embrace he got, but the painful bitter reality. Her real mother refused.

Even his mother said words that should not have been spoken in front of a child who was still far underage. Even insulting his father. Lisa is evicted by the guards of her new husband. After the incident, Lisa threw away the photo, now her feelings of hatred also appeared against her mother.

Now Lisa knows why her father told her that his wife, none other than Lisa's biological mother, had died. Peter, who heard Lisa's story, was silent. This little girl kept looking flat at the Brown Guild Company building.

Lisa murmuring. "After I grow up, I'll be a great Hunter and take down that company."

Peter looked up at the muttering of this little girl. Suddenly in his mind, something appeared that he wanted to do to comfort Lisa. "So I don't want to show you anything. But you have to keep this a secret from your father."
