The Sequel of the Hunter: The Guardians

CHAPTER 15: Abandoned Hotels.

It did not take more than 2 hours, Budi finally arrived at his rented house, where he and his daughter lived. He went home alone without any obstacles, because the time was past midnight, and the atmosphere of the city and suburban environment was quite quiet.

If there are people, it might be just a few and they are the Hunters who just came out after completing their mission. And once in a while a police car passes by, they're on night patrol, they're not gonna mess around or get in the way of a Hunter when it's seen in the middle of the night.

Open the door of his house. "Ahhh, finally arrived."

"Surely she's asleep" he said after closing the front door of his room.

Given the time has passed 2 hours from midnight, surely his daughter is asleep. This is common, if he comes home late, his daughter already understands. So he chose to sleep alone, because waiting for Budi to come home, can not be guessed when until his home.

Sometimes we go home at 5 a.m. His daughter must have scolded him because she didn't want her father to be exhausted. He immediately stepped into his room. Budi immediately pack the items that he thinks are important. Finished already, he immediately stepped over the bath to bathe and clean himself.

It didn't take long, he finished his show. After wearing a t-shirt, long jeans, and a red jacket. He came out of his room, and immediately stepped into his daughter's room. Upon entering, he immediately woke Lisa up.

Lisa, whose sleep was disturbed, opened her eyes. "Why did you wake me up ? I'm still sleepy." in a hoarse voice, typical of people waking up.

"We have to move, baby." replied Budi.

Lisa immediately widened her eyes. He took his seat from his sleep. "Moved ? Why ?" he asked, looking at the wall clock in his room, he looked up. "Hey it's still dark. Are you kidding me ? These nights want to move ?"

"You don't have to ask too many questions. We need to get ready. Just pack your important things. Dad wait for you below." replied Budi with a serious expression on his face.

Budi stepped out and left Lisa in her room. Lisa was concerned that there was something about her father, because his father was rarely serious.

Before arriving at the Budi residence, they had seen an abandoned building with a large area, the place was surrounded by a cement wall, as if the place was forbidden to enter, because it was closed. There was not even an entrance to pass through, there was only 1 gate that was padlocked.

You can guess that place is none other than the hotel that has been unused. Out of curiosity, they came and entered the building. Just jump over the wall that encircles the region. They all pierce the room. The building has 3 floors.

After completion, Reyhan and the others agreed to decide this abandoned hotel to be their headquarters. At first I was doubtful about their decision. The land of the hotel is indeed spacious, but the location of this abandoned building is on the border of the city center, a lot of trees either inside the wall or outside.

There were even very few houses in the street. Plus there are rumors that this abandoned hotel is haunted, so people choose to go to move only. But unlike the thinking of the five people, want haunted or whatever it is, is not a big problem.

Because according to Reyhan, the abandoned hotel is perfect for all of their homes. Because no one would think anyone would want to live there. Remembering in this world is the time of Hunter, according to Reyhan and others.

Budi ran and jumped through the housing to his current destination. On Lisa's side, the one who was still upset chose silence. The item they just 2 backpacks each containing their clothes only.

They also reached their destination. Lisa was surprised to see the place, which was nothing but an abandoned hotel. They are now in front of the gate that is still locked padlock. Lisa also came down from her carrier, Budi moved her backpack that was on her chest, now she moved it to her back.

"Dad, if you want to prank me don't overdo it" said Lisa who tried to stay calm, because she had also heard that this building had been unused for dozens of years.

"We better get back now dad. We rich don't have a place to live."

"Be calm first, it's not as bad as you think." replied Budi calmly.

Suddenly in front of the two of them appeared a portal light. Lisa hid behind her father's body.

"Dad !! There's a Portal !!" lisa panicked.

Budi remained calm, he even walked while dragging his daughter in. Lisa tried to break up. "Dad, don't take me. Why did you take me in there ? I'm 10 years old, Dad !! It's not time for me to do Hunter !!"

"Who wants you to be a Hunter. I'm not going to support you to become a Hunter..!!" budi replied, then he forced Lisa into his carrier. They entered the Portal while Lisa was still trying to get down.

A few moments later.

"What's wrong with you guys ?" ask Reyhan.

Budi gaped in disbelief. Even Lisa also wore an expression like her father. They were immediately taken aback when exiting the Portal. They can't believe they're looking around. Yeah, which should be in an abandoned hotel messy now everything looks pretty clean.

Though earlier Budi saw before going home still meaningless and stinky. And now it's not. The atmosphere in the room became different, almost all gold in color. Yeah, Reyhan did it. He destroyed everything, he wanted to make the room wider.

All the rooms, the walls, the hallways, all the rooms even those that had 3 floors, he destroyed. Now the building only has 1 floor. He left 10 rooms for privacy. Even everything like a sofa, a bed he took out of his property. I

Reyhan took it all out in numbers over 10. For Reyhan it's easy, and his treasure will never run out. Most importantly he wanted to create a comfortable headquarters not only for himself, but also for his juniors.
