"I can't answer it, let's just say that because I happened to be in that place that's why I was trying to save you." Kai replied as he gazed towards the calm river.

"It looks like we're stuck in this forest. It will be difficult for us to find a way out" said Kai.

"Then, how should we do?" ask Lia.

"Are you still strong enough to walk? we should explore this forest before it gets dark," Kai said as he stared at the pretty face.

Lia nodded her head. The two of them then walked through the very quiet forest. There was not a single inhabitant there, only trees and broken wooden branches.

"It looks like this forest has been unkempt for a long time" said Kai.

"Yes, it seems so. This place is so quiet there's not a single person in sight." Reply Lia.

In the middle of the journey, Lia's leg was pierced by a small twig that made her stop walking. "Ac ...." She sat down and tried to see what was behind her feet.

"Lia, why?" asked Kai who turned around and approached Lia.

"Looks like my leg got stabbed by Kai's twig." Lia grimaced with the pain in her leg.

"Let me see" said Kai.

Kai saw a small twig stab the girl's leg. "Let me take it, hold it a little." Kai took the twig. "Aw, ouch .. Kai's sick." Lia clutched Kai's hand in pain.

After noticing it, Lia immediately released her hand. "Sorry," said Lia who was embarrassed. "It's okay. Let's continue the journey" Kai said as he wrapped Lia's leg with a tear in his shirt.

"Yes," Lia replied as she tried to stand up.

"Can you still walk?" ask Kai.

"I'll try it" said Lia.

Just a step Lia stepped her legs, she felt pain and could not walk because the twig was deep enough. So that makes Lia's blood still flowing.

"It looks like you're no longer able to walk. Let me help you, " said Kai.

"No, no. I can do it myself." Lia refused the help of the man in front of her.

Kai did not want to listen to Lia's rebuttal. He immediately carried her. Lia feels bad she still refuses to be carried by Kai. "Kai put me down!" snapped Lia.

Kai ignored the girl's words. He still carried Lia and continued on his way. "You better shut up or I'll throw you out here" Kai said with a very scary look.

Lia was silent and wrapped her hands around Kai's neck. He felt bad, not because he didn't like it. But he does not want to remember the times where he always spoiled on the man who is holding him at this time.

It was half the journey and it was getting dark. But Kai still hasn't found a way out of that forest. But Kai saw that there was a hut at the end of the forest, he walked up to the hut, hoping that there would be people there.

"Why are you sure we're going there?" ask Lia who is still in doubt.

"Well, what's wrong with trying. If there's anyone in that hut we can ask for help getting out of here" Kai said.

Lia just complied because her position could not run at the moment. Lia's heart hesitated, she was afraid that it would not be a human in the hut but an evil figure. But Lia also believes that Kai can handle everything.

Arriving at the hut, Kai lowered Lia down and told her to sit on the front bench of the hut. "You wait here, I'll knock on the door first." Kai stepped to the door of the hut.
