The Secret of the Blood Hunter

Chap_24's chat.

"Yes, we've gone back to class, did I just get you a bag?" Ask Arnes.

"Ah, no need. I can take it myself." Lia immediately left Arnes.

Arnes followed Lia who had walked first in front of him. Suddenly Arnes is pulled by a man near Steve's car.

Arnes was surprised and had to pull the man's hand away and almost beat him. But fortunately Arnes had a look before doing that.

"Vin, why are you here?" ask Arnes.

It turned out that the man was Vino the head of the Hybrida Clan. "You, follow me." Arnes takes Vino behind a big tree a little far from her school.

"What's wrong? why did you come here" said Arnes.

"I'm just here to collect your promise" said Vino.

Arnes is confused as to what to answer Vino's question. Arnes, who was still unable to do what was told by Vino, now he could only remain silent without saying anything.

But Vino still urged Arnes to answer that question. Vino asked for certainty when Arnes could complete the task.

Arnes who was still confused became nervous to answer Vino's question. Arnes was unable to do so. But Arnes as the Vampire Slave must obey his master. He had only taken over the Hybrida Clan when Vino was not around.

"Willies! I'm giving you another chance. If you still fail to fulfill this mission, I will finish you off and replace you with another!" Vino is already angry with Arnes who doubts the idea.

"All right, you just calm down. It took me a week" said Arnes.

"Alright, I hold your word." Vino then left.

Arnes becomes agitated when remembering the task he had to do. He was worried because he was still unable to complete his mission. Not that he didn't dare, but he was afraid and still couldn't.

"Hey, what are you doing here?" Asked Lia who suddenly appeared.

"Li, you .. since when?" Arnes was very nervous.

"What the heck are you Nes, why is it so stiff." Lia laughed at Arnes' awkward attitude towards her.

"No, just surprised by me." Arnes tried to calm himself down.

"Yes, I've come home first, Steve was waiting for me in the car." Lia says goodbye to Arnes.

Arnes nodded her head and then waved her hand at Lia. Lia simply replied with a smile on her sweet face. The dimples on her cheeks were clearly visible as she smiled.

On the way Kai takes Velly and Angel to stop by at a cafe for lunch. Arriving at the cafe, Kai again helps Velly. The three of them sat at a table near the fountain.

"Vel, what do you want to eat?" asked Kai while looking at the menu in his hand.

"I went with Kai" said Velly.

"If you were Ngel?"

"We're like Kai's menu" Angel replied.

Kai called the waiter and ordered three spaghetti and three orange juice.

Not long after that the order came. Kai, Angel and Velly enjoy a meal at the cafe. It is simply to remove their desire for blood.

Human food is used to being digested by those Vampires who stop drinking blood. But unlike Kai, he's still obsessed with human blood.

Despite this, Kai tries to hold back and begins to adapt to human food.

"Kai, how's your relationship with Lia?" ask Angel.

Kai immediately choked on the food. He was a little surprised by his cousin's question. "Why are you asking me that" said Kai.

"Kai, are you okay?" ask Velly while giving Kai a drink.

"Kai, I asked please answer dong." Angel starts to get annoyed at Kai who has ignored his question.

"Me and her are normal as always" Kai said as he enjoyed his meal.

Angel still does not believe in Kai's answer completely. It's suspicious according to Angel that Kai says there's nothing between Kai and Lia. It is very clear that Angel feels that they have a special relationship that does not want to be known by many people including himself.

"Hmm, okay, okay. Although that answer didn't match what I expected, but I'm quite happy that your relationship is starting to improve." Then Angel drank his Orange Juice.

"Angel, what you think is not necessarily the same as reality, is it? so you're not ...." Velly's words were cut by Angel.

"Yes I know what Kai means" said Angel.

The bewildered Kai responds to Angel and Velly eventually choosing to keep quiet, as he does not want to add to the commotion between the two girls if he has to defend one of them.

After the meal, Kai asks the waiter for a bill and pays for it. Then they went straight home.

Lia and Steve are at home. "Grandfather," said Lia while approaching Grandpa Yee who was watching the television broadcast.

"Lia, are you home? Where's steve?" Ask Grandpa Yee.

"I'm here cake" replied Steve as he put his bag on the sofa.

"Yes Lia wants to go into the room first cake. Lia's tired" said Lia.

Grandpa Yee smiled and agreed that Lia would go inside and rest. "Please beautiful lady," exclaimed Grandpa Yee.

"Steve, why didn't you tell Kai to stay here again with us?" ask Grandpa Yee.

Steve sighed before answering grandfather Yee's question. "Grandfather, he now had his own world. He won't want to stay with us anymore" Steve said.

"You're wrong. Kai, her world only belongs to Lia, if there's another woman in Kai's heart, it's impossible." Yee's grandfather convinces Steve that Kai will agree if he is asked to stay at Lia's house again.

But it was actually Steve's heart that didn't want that to happen. In school, they meet and joke. If I had to do that again in the house, Steve wouldn't be able to see it.

"Yes cake, I want to prepare the items that will be brought camping tomorrow," said Steve.

"Yes okay, but remember. Take good care of Lia while you're there." Grandpa Yee reminded Steve back.

Steve nodded his head as he walked towards his room.

'Kai, why are you acting like that? just yesterday you spoiled and laughed with me. Now that your attitude has changed again, what is it exactly?' inner Lia.
