Chapter 27

The day that awaited has arrived.

In the ballroom of the magnificent and luxurious Wijaya Hotel will be held the engagement of two couples.

Everyone was checking out the preparations for the event, and the way was about to start at seven p.m.

When the clock shows at half-seven, the invited guests have started arriving.

"Good night ladies and gentlemen.."pa MC.

All the guests turned to the MC who was already standing in the middle of the stage.

"Tonight, is the night of the engagement between the sons of the Wijaya family and the sons and daughters of the Praditya family. The day we all look forward to" continued MC.

"We welcome Wijaya's family and Praditya's family" MC shouted.

Then enter the ballroom Kusuma took Ratih his wife, Rana took Sinta, and Angga took Laras. The applause of the invited guests accompanied their steps. They stood lined up in the middle of the ballroom.

"Next, of course we call two couples that we have been waiting for Isyana Wijaya with Arya Praditya, then the second pair is Dion Wijaya with Rara Praditya" continued MC.

The two couples came in hand in hand. Isyana is beautiful with a light blue dress with a long dress tail coupled with a handsome Arya wearing a black tuxedo.

Rara is so sweet with a cream-colored dress with a visible shoulder and there is a feather accent on the shoulder. Dion didn't forget to wear a gray tuxedo.

They walked towards the center of the ballroom accompanied by applause from the audience and petals falling from the ceiling of the ballroom.

"Wow very handsome and beautiful they are yes.a very compatible couple" MC said as he pointed at the two couples.

"Before the ring exchange event, please Pak Kusuma Wijaya give a speech" said MC then one of the EO members gave a mic to Kusuma.

Elsewhere in the hotel kitchen, all the chefs were busy preparing food. Then the butler lined up ten servants to bring food into the ballroom.

"Let's march quickly" shouted the butler to the ten maids to line up in front of him.

"You bring in the food be careful not to spill, this is an important event understand!"strict butler.

"Understand!!"exclaim the servants.

They took one tray of food and there was one stranger who joined the ranks among the servants, he was Rio. He came back with a plan to ruin this engagement party.

Rio followed the entourage of servants into the ballroom. Rio smiled cunningly as he was able to get inside the ballroom. Then Dio immediately put down the tray he was carrying and instantly infiltrated among the guests.

Kusuma had finished giving a speech and now it was Angga's turn to give a speech.

Rio stared intently at Arya who was standing far away there. Arya was holding Isyan's hand tightly. It made Rio's emotions burn to the top. The waiters went back to the kitchen again to get some other food.

"Why are you only nine? Where's that one?"ask the butler worried.

There came two bodyguards who became the Wijaya family bodyguard team. They saw a commotion among the servants, which made them approach the horde of servants.

"What's this?"ask bodyguard.

"My waiter there were ten now who came back only nine I don't know which one to go to" the butler explained.

The two bodyguards looked at each other with suspicious looks.

"Do your duty back" the bodyguard said and left the kitchen.

They both go to a special room that is used to monitor all the rooms, access, and visitors. They also reported to their leaders.

"Check each room's CCTV and pay attention to the face of each visitor" the leader ordered IT experts who were staring at the monitor.

While Angga has finished giving a welcome to the ring exchange session.

"Who will exchange rings first?"ask the MC

"I used to.."celtap dion with his silly smile.

"Alright Mas Dion seems you are impatient yes" cried the MC accompanied by everyone's laughter.

Dion and Rara exchanged rings and ended up applauding the invited guests.

"Congratulations to Dion and Mba Rara on her engagement. Now it's The Peincess of The Wijaya Family's turn Isyana Kusuma Wijaya with Arya Praditya" MC said.

Behind the crowd of guests Rio pulled out a knife, walked slowly towards the middle of the ballroom approaching Arya and gathered the courage that was already united with grudge.

"You must die Arya.."in Rio with bulging eyes.

"Meet me, this is the missing waiter. He is Rio Dharmawangsa. He's our target sir. Now he's in the hotel's ballroom" the IT expert said.

"THE AGENT!! All teams head to the ballroom now!!"shouted the leader using HT.

All the bodyguards heard the command and they rushed to the hotel ballroom.

Isyan and Arya are already facing each other and already holding a ring in each other's hands.

Isyan put on her d ijari arya ring with a sweet smile on her pretty face. Arya also prepared to put a ring on Isyan's finger. Meanwhile Rio was getting closer to the position Arya was standing in now. Rio was already tightly grasping the knife in hand and was already lifting above his shoulder.

Rio raised his knife high and pointed it at arya's back. All who heard the screaming sounds that Rio let out and all immediately turned their heads and were shocked to see what Rio was going to do.
