The Return of the Exempted Son-in-law
Chapter 14

When he finished, Jo immediately invited Zizi to go home. On the way, Zizi invites her husband to stop by a western restaurant. Jo agrees and stops by Barry's restaurant.

After choosing the right empty to sit, they immediately ordered some food menus and while waiting they also talked.

"Mas, why do we only wear t-shirts? Wasn't this morning wearing a shirt and suit?" asked Zizi who saw her husband's appearance was still exactly the same as before. Though his current status as a conglomerate should be prestige only wearing everyday clothes.

"Why? Don't you like how I look now? Ask Jo back

"No. That's not what I mean, it's just that when your position is at the top, won't it affect people's judgment about you? I as a wife can only support but I also have the right to advise right," Zizi replied and Jo replied with a smile.

"I'm more comfortable like this. Let people say what about me. This is me and my identity, wealth and everything else it's just a bonus, the most important thing right now is that you stay with me and always support me." Jo grabs Zizi's hand and convinces him

to keep believing in him.

"I'll always be next to you under any circumstances, you've said so many things to me and you've fought for me, there's no way I'll just forget everything." Zizi convinced her husband.

In the middle of the conversation, a man suddenly appears to approach Zizi and greet him without a care there is Jo beside him.

"Hallo Zizi, how are you? I've been wanting to talk to you for a long time. Come with me to move to the VIP room so we can talk freely," said the man named Andi. She is a college friend of Zizi's and is infatuated with Zizi, but unfortunately Zizi is not interested in her and chooses Jo after graduating from college.

"Andi. Why are you here? And sorry I couldn't accept your offer. You see that next to me there is my husband. You shouldn't be so rude." Jerky Zizi.

Andi tilted her head and saw Jo was next to the woman she liked.

"It turns out you're still holding on to him? I hear he's just a poor man living in his wife's family. Why are you still defending? Better just divorce her and marry me. I have everything and I can give anything I want with my money" Andi said arrogantly.

Plakkkp....

The slap landed on Andi's cheek. Making Andi surprised even want to reciprocate Zizi's treatment.

When Andi hands up to slap Zizi, Jo swiftly held Andi's hand even gripped him firmly.

"You insult me or demean me, I don't care but the slightest bit you dare touch my wife's skin, I won't stay silent." Jo turned Andi's hand back to make Andi groan in pain.

"Let go of me asshole." Jerky Andi.

"You don't know who you're dealing with. I'll make sure you'll regret it after this." Imbuh Andi while enduring the pain.

"Mas already, don't break his hand." Zizi's reprimands can't bear to see Andi in pain, but Jo refuses to let go, before breaking her wrist.

"Aarrhgggghhh..." Andi groaned in pain as his wrist broke and fell down.

Jo crouches down and grabs Andi's collar. "Don't ever dare flirt with my wife again, or else. I can make you a vagrant." Threaten Jo and release her immediately. Andi immediately fled with fear, but in his eyes there was a burning grudge.

"That's my responsibility as a husband" Jo replied, patting his wife's cheek gently on her shoulder.

The food that was ordered came, Zizi and Jo also ate the food with pleasure, forgetting the incident that just happened.

But indirectly the enemy Jo berahan continues to grow and every time his life may be in the middle.

Sometimes Jo notices his wife is so greedy eating his favorite food while he just tries to enjoy it even though it is very difficult to swallow it because many thoughts are dancing in his head.

"Mas, can I say something?"

"Say, I never forbid you to talk."

"Mas, I'm serious not kidding. Mama came to the boutique and she told me she was sorry. Mama wants to apologize the same mas Jo, of course, a big family who wants to apologize. They treated me badly. I hope you will forgive him. However mama is your mother-in-law and my real mama. So if I may ask, please forgive them. I know you must be hurt by what they did, but they did it just because, dear to me, they didn't want their daughter to suffer. I realized at that time I never worked. But I'm not forcing you to forgive him now, I know you're gonna need some time to reopen the door sorry, ma'am." Obviously Zizi at length, Jo only sighed if he had to talk about her in-laws, but Jo also could not run because she had already taken her daughter.

"Invite them to dinner at home tomorrow night." Answer Jo briefly and then stand up to go to the toilet.

"Mas mean?" zizi asked but was not answered because Jo immediately passed.

"Did Jo forgive my parents?" ask Zizi in your heart.

In the toilet, Jo washes his face, which seems tense in the sink, Jo does not want to make his wife sad if actually in his heart there is still hatred. To see their faces is not desirable, but what can be done. Jo didn't want to be such a haughty lalaki and now she could only repay them in a subtle way.

"Fire must not be fought with fire, but must use Water to make their pride disappear. I'm not sure they're sincerely sorry. I think there's something behind it. Let's see what I do later even if the daughter-in-law has to fight a war with the in-laws it won't be a problem for that long for the truth." Jo murmured in front of the mirror.

After calming down and sweeping his face to dry, Jo immediately came out and approached his wife who was waiting.

"Have you finished eating?"

"I paid the bill, too" replied Zizi.

Jo takes out a black card and hands it to Zizi.

"That's for you, use it as best you can and don't foya-foya, I don't like it. Oya use it also to pay off all the bills you have and next time if you need money or what it tells me. I'm your husband I'm responsible for your needs." Obviously Jo.

"Well, where do I get my bills?"

"If you want to hide it from me, don't carelessly put something down. Let's go home in the afternoon." Take Jo and Zizi along.
