The grass monster was getting closer.his form was no longer a shadow silhouette anymore. Altan turned his head towards X who was running next to him. X turned his head and shook his head while putting on a face like "sorry, but I'm running out of ideas." Altan understands that he cannot blame X for not having an idea.
Their speed dropped dramatically after 10 minutes of running. X began to stagger, and he stumbled over a stone that made him fall to the ground with a face that first kissed the ground.
The monster was so close that his hand could almost reach them both. Altan now can only choose between two options: save himself or try to help his friend.
But he would never leave his friend who had saved his life even once.
"cats! get up. Come on X you can do it!."
"Leave me. I'm not running anymore."
"no!. I won't leave you. You saved my life. If we die here, at least we don't leave each other."
"thank you, man." X tried to stand with the rest of his strength he was motivated by the words Altan had just thrown at him.
Altan immediately bowed so that he could hold his friend, but X refused while making a faint smile.
"i'm not that weak. You just pock me. don't have to be carried."
But Altan manghiraukan his words.he immediately rewinded and raised X legs equivalent to his hips.
"hold on!."
Altan tried to run as fast as he could, but what a force, the monster had roared so fiercely and released a loud slap that hit him dead.
"ahahah!!."
They fell to the ground. X detached from his carrier Altan.and Altan was still moaning in pain while trying to stand up as he could.
The second attack came, but the attack was too high so Altan only needed to lower his head to avoid the second attack.
The attack continued for the third time.this time the attack was modeled like the first one which was sweeping the area in front of him like forming a fan pattern. Altan again bounced to the ground due to the attack, while X had fainted since the first attack.
"hah, hah, hah." "come on Altan hold on a little more.don't die just yet." he muttered to himself.
The monster had no mercy. it immediately launched a fourth attack that gave an attack from top to bottom.
" i will not die, I. tida.k aka.n matiiiii!!" he shouted as he pulled the sword sheathed on his back.
Just as the giant hand was coming, he slashed his sword horizontally towards that hand.
but the monster was a grass monster.and it was in its area.It easily reunited its recently split hands.
Altan was too tired.he immediately collapsed after shaking off one attack earlier.he lamented the hands of the monster who tried to make it into chips in one attack.
Miracle, that's what he's hoping for. And it seemed like the miracle had come at the exact moment where a gigantic palm had almost touched his entire body.
The hand suddenly stopped, and the roar was also the same as the darkness of the night. The monster was frozen like someone stabbed him in the back. Altan looked behind the creature and he knew what was causing it.
The sun had appeared.that was what caused the stop of the movement of the Grass Monster.at the instant the grass wrapped in each other wrapped into monsters fell on Altan.
Immediately he approached X who was still unconscious.
"hey, hey, wake up." "come on. I know you're listening to me."
"huh, condone."
Inevitably Altan carried X past the meadow.
Bright shining sun shines through the morning.making a cool dew that cools the day. Altan had walked for about 5 minutes until he saw the silhouette of the ship's muzzle that was like flying from behind the dew.
"finally up to." He put X on the mattress where X put it when he fainted.
......|-|......
"mm... mm.. go!!. stay away from me. no...k!!." X finally opened his eyes after a long time lying in bed.
" oh, you're finally up too."
"in.. where am I?." "hey, did you forget your own tree boat."
"my tree boat?. oh thank goodness." he said with a sigh of relief, but the look on his face immediately turned into confusion.
"what happened to the monster?.How did we survive?. and how-"
"wo. wo.. relax man. don't immediately ask a thousand questions so."
"hehehe sorry." "well I'll answer your first question first.what happened to the monster."
"The monster crumbled back into dead grass."
"and secondly, how did we survive."
"we are lucky we managed to survive until sunrise.otherwise we would be the bones scattered in the field." X nodded his head trying to digest Altan's explanation well.
"are you done asking?."
"it might be enough for a while."
"then let me ask you a few things." "please."
Altan took a more comfortable sitting position because he knew the answer he got should not be an answer that could be answered with a word or two.
"actually how many creatures are still alive after the massacre."
"if you ask about the creatures that live on this planet there may only be a few groups like yours, but if you ask about the ones in this world, I don't know, man, there may be billions."
" yeah, so you're saying there's another creature in space there."
"yes." yeah."
