Lin Cheng deliberately voiced in a high tone intending to surprise Lin Ye to cry, but Lin Ye did not let out her baby cry unlike her other older brothers in infancy. Then he lowered Lin Ye and saw the smiling face of Lin Ye.

“Shi'er look at our son” Ling Cheng told his wife. Ling Shi looked at the sweet-smiling Lin Ye on Lin Cheng's lap.

“Are you happy Ye'er?” ling Shi said softly as he gave his index finger to Lin Ye.

Lin Ye held onto Ling shi's finger with both of her tiny hands as if understanding Ling Shi's words. They smiled warmly and saw their son smiling.

Lin Cheng rubbed Lin Ye's cheeks gently. The baby on her lap right now was adorable.

“So you guys are going to be my new parents..” Lin Cheng was surprised to hear the voice in his mind. Shaded a faint face with a sweet smile on her lips that seemed obvious.

“What?” lin Cheng was surprised. The faint face of his mind disappeared and suddenly Lin Ye cried.

Oe Oe Oe Oe

Lin Ye cried for the first time. Everyone inside the palace smiled happily hearing Lin Ye's cry that was so echoing throughout the palace.

“Cheng gege, finally our son cried” Ling Shi broke Lin Cheng's daydream.

“Thank God then” replied Lin Cheng smiling.

'It looks like I was hallucinating earlier' Lin Cheng's mind wouldn't bother.

Three years since Lin Ye's birth in the Lin Empire, Lin Ye had not shown his cultivator talent like his other elder brothers.

“How is the cultivation development of the fourth prince?” asked Lin Cheng to Chen Wu, Lin Ye's nanny.

“Emperor, prince Lin Ye always refused if invited to practice. Servant also could not see the fourth Prince's cultivation base, servant thought that the fourth prince could not cultivate like a cultivator in general.” replied nanny Lin Ye respectfully.

“Dad, although Chen Wu was at the soul core realm, but he was full of gaps. Although my cultivation base is lower than her, I can avoid her attacks easily” replied Lin Ye who was standing under her father's throne.

“Fourth prince don't joke, does the prince mean to say that the prince can see the weakness of others?” ask Chen Wu.

“Yaa, I can indeed see the weakness of others just once see” replied Lin Ye casually.

“Emperor, let me test what the fourth prince said” Chen Wu said hoping Lin Cheng agreed.

“Alright” replied Lin Cheng.

“Prince, don't blame me if the prince gets hurt” Chen Wu reminded.

“You can't hurt me” replied Lin Ye.

Chen Wu pulled the sword on his back and prepared to launch an attack on Lin Ye which he thought was arrogant. He immediately darted at full strength without thinking about Lin Ye's state.

“Chen Wu, if you use full power, the Prince will be injured!” said one of the prime ministers. Chen Wu did not heed his words, he only wanted to make the prince before him ashamed of his own words.

“Feel this. Hiatt!”

Chen Wu unsheathed the sword at Lin Ye, but Lin Ye jumped dodging that ferocious Chen Wu attack by stepping on Chen Wu's head, and now Lin Ye was behind Chen Wu.

Chen Wu was surprised to see Lin Ye could dodge his full strength, then he turned around and saw Lin Ye was standing quietly there.

Everyone looked surprised to see Lin Ye who could dodge Chen Wu's attacks easily.
