Ch. 18 - Training

Lin Ye trained diligently according to Lin Ya's direction who was now transforming into Lin Ye's personal teacher. As a ranked disciple in one of the sects in the Middle Continent, Lin Ya had many methods of training and fighting for herself and now all that she passed on to her younger brother, Lin Ye.

Previously Lin Yu was the first to become Lin Ye's teacher three days before his return to the central continent. Lin Yu had only taught Lin Ye the technique because the time of his return was getting closer. “Adik, don't hold too strong!” said Lin Ya who was standing on top of the tree while watching Lin Ye's handrails on her bow.

Lin Ye tried to relax his hand muscles so as not to hold the bow too firmly.

“To the bottom a little!” said again. Lin Ye immediately pointed his bow slightly down as per Lin Ya's direction.

There was no sound between the two of them. Lin Ye focused his arrow onto an apple that was five hundred meters in front of him.

Lin Ye's arrow shot out quickly accompanied by the roaring sound of the wind.

The arrow hit the second apple there. Lin Ya smiled then took out an arrow from her storage ring, Lin Ya's archery ability increased and did not show the slightest gap.

“Adik, now the apple arrow is once again, but you have to be faster because my arrow will block your arrow” said Lin Ya preparing with her bow.

Lin Ye nodded and immediately focused on the previously festering Apples.

“I need to be faster than brother!” muttered Lin Ye full of determination.

The arrow that Lin Ye threw was split into two by Lin Ya's arrow before it reached the apple.

“Hmm?” Lin Ye sensed the presence of birds darting rapidly in the clouds, he smiled getting an idea.

'What is he planning?' inner Lin Ya saw Lin Ye smile.

Lin Ye immediately focused back on the apple in front of him, he was waiting for the right time to throw his arrow.

The bird darted quickly in the air and Lin Ye immediately jumped to the right while throwing out his arrows.

The arrow shot rapidly towards the apple, Lin Ya instantly shot out her arrow to break Lin Ye's arrow.

A bird swooped rapidly down blocking Lin Ya's arrow.

“What?!” lin Ya was surprised.

The bird was killed by Lin Ya's arrow and Lin Ye's arrow managed to stick an apple in front of it.

Lin Ye smiled proudly at Lin Ya who was standing on top of the tree. Lin Ya frowned looking at Lin Ye's smile then she changed her expression to smile proudly at Lin Ye.

Day after day Lin Ye spent training, even fourteen years Lin Ya was appointed Emperor and she became the only youngest Emperor in the history of the Lin Empire.

Now that Lin Ye was seven years old, his long-range and close-range fighting abilities were already mastered thanks to the training from Lin Ya and Lin Yu.

“According to sister's promise, if you are seven years old you can go traveling. Now that you are seven years old and your abilities have improved, you can leave, Brother” said Lin Ya gently.

“Thank you brother, I promise I will bring home second brother” replied Lin Ye full of determination.

“Do not force yourself, it is all our responsibility together. Come home occasionally to visit big brother, and if there is time visit Lin Yu in Red Sky sect” said Lin Ya.

“Good, Brother. I'm saying goodbye!” said Lin Ye smiling while wearing a mask and then disappearing.
