The Prince's Beloved Servant

The Prince's Beloved Servant
Harvesting Wine

It was only this first time that Yurika saw the vine directly, even she had the opportunity to gain experience to harvest there. He carefully cut each stalk of wine and put it in the basket he carried. The job was still so much fun for him that he forgot he was a lowly servant.

There were many people working for the Jansen nobility. Both men and women, young and old, and even children, are working diligently to harvest wine on acres of land. Yurika tasted secretly the wine she picked. It was sweet and fresh, better than the wine he used to enjoy in his previous life.

"God! Do not eat constantly. If you get caught, you'll get whipped!" whispered Remi while giving a code that someone was watching them work.

Yurika immediately ended her actions. He again pretended to focus on harvesting the grapes with Remi.

Yurika smiled to herself. What a strange fate, intent on suicide, even came back to life as a slave. He seemed to have to act as someone else, but not for filming purposes.

He no longer needed to think about his fate in the real world. Whether there was anyone who would search for his corpse or not, would there still be anyone who cared about him? Jenny who had been with him for years was also forced to treat him well because he was the artist, his financial source.

Yurika was still upset considering the last incident that happened to her. He was almost beaten, but no one defended him. He hopes that even if they do not need to find the body, let the story disappear mysteriously and forgotten.

"Remi, I'm tired .. shouldn't we take a break?" yurika lamented that they had been working for three hours non-stop harvesting wine from the vast field. Other workers do not seem to feel tired, they continue to work like a machine that has been set to not stop prematurely.

"Prophey, Yuri. If we've harvested all the way to the end there, we're only allowed to rest." Remi pointed at the intended end.

Yurika was only glued to see the far end, about 500 meters away. He could faint before reaching the end. He quietly went back to eating the wine he picked to replenish his energy. Work as long as it is not fed and drunk, as it is doing the work of rods.

"His Highness the Prince arrived ..." a cry came out of nowhere.

Yurika dyed to find the origin of the sound. All the workers seemed silent and immediately knelt down. He doesn't know what's going on.

Remi immediately pulled Yuri's hand to kneel as the Prince arrived. It was already an obligation for ordinary people to kneel down when the royal family arrived.

"You can be beheaded if you don't want to kneel!" lirih Remi's.

Though Yurika was so curious to know what kind of figure the elf prince in her novel. Is he more handsome than his co-star in the movie?

"Why did the Prince come here?" yuri asked in a half-whispering tone.

"The kingdom likes the wine produced from this garden the most. It was customary that they would order the best wine to make wine."

Yurika. At least he could rest for a moment on his knees. Since then his legs felt very sore because they continued to stand and walk while harvesting wine.

"You can rest!" exclaim someone.

Yurika rounded her shocked eyes. "Say we won't be allowed to rest before we finish the harvest?" tanyakanya.

Remi's explanation makes sense. The purpose of the Jansen nobility was to approach the royal family, of course because they wanted to join the government. Moreover, Mr. Jansen highly favored his daughter in order to become the love of the prince. Unfortunately, Prince Adrian's only love for Hilda.

"Let's eat and drink! We need to get enough rest before we get back to work." Remi pulled Yuri's hand out of the vineyard with him. In the large yard area specifically for workers, there is already a lot of food that is intended for them. Each one got a glass of water and a sizable piece of bread.

Yurika looked at the food in her hand.her bread was not much different from what she used to eat in her world. However, he who is accustomed to eating rice will either be able to be full just by eating bread or not.

"Let's eat!" remi's orders. He seemed to be amazed by one of his friends. Yuri acted like never before. Yuri is very strange.

Yurika ventured to bite her bread rations. It doesn't taste too bad, there's a mix of sweet and savory flavors. Inside it contains a chop of meat and vegetables and cream that is like sauce from tomatoes. If you feel it, it may be almost the same as a hamburger.

Yurika suddenly contemplated her fate. He who used to live a life of convenience, bearing wealth and luxury, now has to eat potluck. Maybe this is a punishment for him who has chosen the wrong shortcut to suicide.

He wanted to die because he was burdened with his life as an artist. Now God granted his will, given the opportunity to live once again as a person who is very different from his life in the real world. He came from a poor family, had an ugly face, and had to work as a servant.

"When will you go home this week or not?"

"Huh, home? Can we go home?" ask Yurika. He did not know too much about the rules of the servants who worked in the family. Reading the novel was only once and was not completed until the final chapter. He does not know what his story will be like, which Yurika knows that Yuri will be hanged.

"It looks like you've lost your memory, huh? I'm so worried about you." Remi was stunned by the answer of Yuri.

"Ah, yes. Ii'm sorry. As a result of the events of that time, I had indeed forgotten many things," said Yuri.

Remi also could not believe that he told me that he came from the real world that entered the novel. Especially if he told me in the real world there are tall buildings, lights, cars, refrigerators, even televisions. While the world he lived in was now an elven world that was in the wilds of the forest.

"Every three months we are allowed to go home and take a week off. I'm worried that when you go home, you'll never forget your own house."

Yurika grimaces. He did not know the route back to Yuri's house. What his home is like, who his father is, he also does not know because it is not told in detail in the novel. He only knew that Yuri's father worked as a brewer to make money. Her mother died after giving birth to her.

"You think I should go home?" ask Yuri.

"Yes, you haven't been home in years. Don't you feel sorry for your father? At least you should know his condition."

Yurika's speechless. There are many mysteries that a Yuri has that he himself does not yet know. Why not go home and still have a father in the village. Should he continue his life as Yuri? Or is it better to kill himself again?
