"Yuri, wake!"

Yuri's body seemed to be swayed. His deep sleep was so disturbed because the one who tried to wake him continued to shake his body.

"Hm, I'm still sleepy" she said with her eyes still closed.

"You can be late for work."

Ezra's words made him gasp in shock. He immediately rose from his sleep. He forgot that last night he did not go back to the warehouse, but instead stayed at Ezra's cottage. It could be bad that Mrs Catlin knew she ran away from there.

"Go take a bath before many people come to the river to bathe."

Yurika stretched her hand muscles. True what Ezra said last night, his body now feels fresh. The pain from working is completely gone. No loss he had forced himself to drink such a bitter drink.

Yurika came out of the cottage with her clothes that had dried overnight with the help of a fireplace. It still looks dark outside. It was better that he had a reason not to be in his room. He'd say go to the river first.

Ezra held a torch to make it easier for Yurika to walk towards the river full of rocks. He showed me a place safe enough for Yurika to bathe, near the grove of trees by the river. He waited for her while sitting on a big rock.

Yurika put a change of clothes on the river bank. He took off the clothes he was wearing one by one and threw himself in the river. The water was warm, not cold, although it was still early in the morning. It feels very refreshing to the body.

"Hah .. if there is soap here, even if it is a worker elf, it must be smooth and clean" murmured Yurika while rubbing her body with a small stone.

Yesterday afternoon, he had a bustling bath with Remi and the other female elves. He just found out that they took a bath by rubbing a stone into the body. They did not take a shower together. The men and women's baths there are also distinguished areas even though in the same river. He prefers his current bathing activities that are more privacy.

"Have you finished the bath?"

Ezra was burning fish on the small fireplace he had made. Yurika was thrilled to see the food just as her stomach was rumbling.

"The clothes you gave me last night I washed and dried them on the tree. You can take it later after it is dry," said Yurika.

Ezra gave a piece of bread and grilled fish to Yurika. "I hope today you will be strong at work and have no intention of killing yourself again."

"Mahaha ...."

Yurika laughed with Ezra's innuendo. He felt lucky in a world he did not know well, he was able to meet a kind elf like Ezra. Maybe because they are the same-time mixtus so feel the same fate.

Eating bread in the morning with fish as a side dish is quite tasty. Yurika was worried that she would not be able to match the food there. He who has become accustomed to everything that exists, gets what he wants, must now survive his new life.

He must stay alive, must not despair and commit suicide again. Suicide is not a solution to a problem, but an act of running away from it. He would have been even more despicable if he had dared to end his life again.

"It looks like I have to go back to the workers' place now before anyone realizes I'm missing" Yurika said after finishing her meal.

"Don't forget to keep the spirit up. You're a mixtus." Ezra tried to give him some encouragement.

Yurika walked along the river bank to the workers' quarters. The morning wind was fresh. One of the positives of being there is that nature is still awake, in this world much quieter than the real world. He did not need to bother thinking about the filming schedule anymore.

His steps suddenly came to a halt when he saw a beautiful flower by the river. Purple flowers, small and clustered like Ezra said last night. The flower has the same aroma as the drink last night, the soothing fragrance of roses. The flower shape is almost the same as the dandelion flower, but the color is purple.

"The Orcis flower," he murmured.

Yurika again continued the journey down the river. As he neared the area where the worker lived, he switched lanes. If he continued to browse the river, it would definitely meet a group of male elves who were bathing. He quickly ran to his room.

"Yuri ..." call Remi. He immediately ran and hugged Yuri when he saw her coming from the back door. His face showed relief from being able to find his friend back.

Para pekerja lainnya tampak sibuk berberes-beres. Ada yang sedang membenarkan pakaian, menyisir rambut, dan menyapu ruangan. Ada pula yang baru akan pergi mandi.

"I'm sorry, I fell asleep last night waiting for you to come back. When I wake up, I look everywhere for you. I thought you were lost and eaten by an ogre. I'm so worried, Yuri ...." Remi vented his anxiety.

He regretted last night not accompanying Yuri. He should have left because Yuri must be confused to find a way home. Especially when it was midnight.

"Thank you for worrying about me, Remi. I woke up early to take a bath in the river. Then, I also took a short walk near the river."

"Thank God then. I feel relieved." Remi stroked his chest which was still pounding from worry.

"Yourself, have you taken a shower?" tanyakanya.

"I took a shower looking for you in the river. If you're not around, I'm confused." Remi hugged Yuri again. "We have breakfast before the first one!" he said with passion.

He pulled Yuri's hand, taking her to the courtyard area. There is already Mrs Catlin who helps distribute their breakfast rations.

This morning the breakfast menu is given meat sandwich again. It seems like every day the menu is the same as that. Yurika still feels lucky before returning to breakfast by eating fish.

He ate it leisurely because his stomach was still full. Meanwhile, Remi ate her bread like a hungry man. "You want mine?" yuri asked after Remi's bread had run out first.

Remi slowed the chewing of food in his mouth. It was not pleasing for Yuri to offer him food rations. "I'm not starving, Yuri. I like to eat fast. You also need to eat to fill the energy," he said.

"I'm really full. Instead of being thrown away, take it if you want." Yuri forces Remi to receive the remaining bread.

"Right, this is for me?" ask Remi. "If you're starving, don't blame me!" said.

Yuri just nodded while smiling at Remi's words.
