The Prince's Beloved Servant

The Prince's Beloved Servant
Punishment of Asteria

Yurika had already changed her wet clothes, as well as Hilda. The beautiful elf asked Yuri to talk to her before returning home. Asteria has apologized for what happened to Hilda.

"What's your name? We have not met." asked Hilda.

Yurika felt happy to have the opportunity to see firsthand the female lead whom she admired so much. Her beautiful temper and her gentle and kind heart make her worthy of anyone's liking.

"My name is Yuri, Miss."

"Yuri .. a beautiful name, as beautiful as your hair," Hilda said.

It was unexpected that Yuri would get praise from that prettiest elf. As Yurika remembered, Yuri had never met Hilda in person. They are related because Yuri was accused of poisoning Hilda so she was hanged in front of the public.

"Are you a mixtus?" ask Hilda.

Yuri just nodded. Hilda knew about it too.

"If you may know who your father and mother are?"

Yuri was silent at the question. Of course he did not know so he did not answer. He himself wants to know what kind of story experienced by the figure in the novel.

"Oh, okay. If you don't want to answer, that's okay. I know it's privacy." Hilda was very understanding. He does not force anyone to fulfill his will. "Thank you again for helping me. If you need my help, come anytime to the Morzil family residence."

"Thank you for your generosity, Miss."

Hilda smiled. "This is for you" he said, offering a very beautiful hair ornament shaped like a peacock.

"Miss ...." Yurika tried to refuse. Such a thing must be very expensive and valuable. If anyone knew it, many would be envious of him.

"You can't refuse him. I wish we could meet again." Hilda handed the ornament to Yuri as she left her seat.

Hurriedly Yurika hid the thing inside the folds of her clothes before anyone knew. He accompanied Hilda's homecoming ya g will ride his horse-drawn carriage. The beautiful elf smiled and waved to him. Yurika became even more amazed by the figure of Hilda.

"What were you talking about?" ask Asteria who dared to approach after Hilda came home.

Yurika looked lazy dealing with the young miss. Asteria is too shy with the lives of others. "We're not talking about anything, miss. Just a little thank you to me."

"Well! A thank you?" Asteria wanted to laugh at him. "Have you been proud to be thanked by a noble? Feeling on top now?" Asteria glared until the nerves on her face were attracted.

Yuri had silence. However, Asteria actually poured a drink into Yuri's head as an outlet for her frustration. Not enough to get there, Asteria also spilled food to dirty Yuti clothes.

"I'll show you your position here. You're just a waitress, not someone important." Asteria said with her cynical tone. "Clean this room yourself! No one can help you at all. Stupid elf!"

After taking out her insults, Asteria left Yuri feeling happy. Yuri stood there with her anger held back. He was more and more determined to become an elf that no one could underestimate.

Yuri stood alone in the party room. As Asteria said, no one dared to help Yuri. He began to clean up the remnants of a party that was quite messy in such an extensive place.

Yuri tried not to complain. He believes that his ability can change the fate that has been outlined for Yuri. Even from a figurehead might also be able to become the main character.

A few hours passed until Yuri's work was finally completed. He returned to his room after cleaning himself. Apparently, Remi also did not sleep even though it was early in the morning.

Yuri's body felt very sore and drowsiness had mastered it. Though he wanted to close his eyes, Remi even asked him to talk.

"I know you're innocent. But, sometimes we better not be involved with other people's problems. Because it can make it hard on ourselves."

"But I can't be like that" Yuri said. His common sense always says that he does not need to interfere. However, his conscience could not ignore his concern for others.

Remi sighed. "You are too good. That's the side I like about you and it keeps me worried."

Remi is a friend who is the same fate as Yuri. They both had to work since childhood to support family life. Remi family is an ordinary elf who daily only grow crops and herding livestock. The difficult life forced them to let Remi work for the elf nobility.

"Yuri ...," call Remi again.

"Hm?"

"How about you go home this week, right?" ask Remi. They had indeed discussed this matter, but Yuri had yet to give her decision.

"Do you know where my house is?" ask Yuri.

Remi was stunned for a moment hearing the question. "You really forgot where your house is?" ask Remi.

Yuri just nodded. "Don't tell anyone. My memory is so limited, I can't remember much of what happened in the past."

"I'm worried about you." Remi looked compassionately at Yuri, taking her illness very seriously.

"I'm not sick, Remi. I just forgot .. I don't know, maybe I'm senile!" Yuri patted her own head.

"Actually our village is also close together, but a little further away from your village. The name is Eluigwe Village, a very beautiful village with waterfalls. From my village, you still have to travel about 2 hours by foot or 1 hour by train."

Yuri rounded her eyes. "That far?" He could not imagine his fatigue traveling that far. 'Could it be that Yuri is lazy to go home because of her distant place?' muttered.

"Distant? That's very close. Even to return home from this place we can spend a day and night in a carriage."

Yuri almost forgot that in the world there is no modern means of transportation. If there is a plane, maybe 1 hour has arrived. Unfortunately, this world was only filled with forests, mountains, and rivers.

Remi keeps telling me about Yuri village and his own village. The friend was so good at storytelling that Yuri slowly closed her eyes. The story he heard was like a bedtime story that was very easy to make him sleepy. He can't wait to see for himself Yuri's hometown.
