Alex stared off the porch of his room. Remembering all Nayra said this afternoon. His chest hurt when he thought about it.

"I won't be long. No need to trouble. I'll drop you this.” The girl placed the bag of fruit she had brought to the table. The nurse came with her drink.

"At least drink first, Nay,” he said trying to hold back the girl's departure.
