A friend?

Jessie takes Ryan to her room. He showed me the balcony of his room and told me about the terror he had experienced. Ryan Manga nodded without saying a word. Jessie let out a rough sigh and threw herself on the bed.

"You're gonna keep on guard here?"

"Of course, I won't leave miss."

Jessie rolled her eyes as Ryan kept calling her Miss. "Don't call me Miss, Ryan. Just call me my name. I've already considered you a friend now."

"Friends?"

Jessie nodded. "You look like you don't have any friends."

Ryan looked at Jessie with an offended look. Does he look like a man with no friends? Of course he has friends, although not many. They are social creatures who need to be friends.

"I have to go to school tomorrow. Are you gonna keep following me to class like the one in the novel?" ask Jessie. He was a little annoyed when Ryan followed him to class. "You like the view? Daddy bought this forest and built this mansion."

Ryan nodded. He turned his eyes to Jessie. "Do you not want to do activities? You usually just sleep in your room all day?"

"You're saying I'm lazy? Don't tell me you're-me. I-you're better. I was seventeen. I feel old, Ryan," Jessie said. He got up and got out of bed and went out of the room.

Jessie doesn't know what to do. He left the house just to prove to Ryan that he was not lazy. Jessie chose to sit by the pool while playing her feet in the water. Fortunately around the mansion are many trees so Jessie does not feel hot. He hates the heat.

"Ryan, I'm bored. Do you want a tour of the yard?"

Ryan nodded. Jessie stood up and walked past Ryan. They walked towards the greenhouse that was beside the mansion. The moment they entered, the green scenery of the plant directly greeted. There are some beetles who fly to find flowers to suck nectar.

Ryan looked around for the person Jessie meant. There was no one but the two of them in the greenhouse. It's possible that the person in question Jessie is out to do another job. He was probably one of the gardeners who worked in this house.

"Ryan, she's okay, right?" jessie asked as she pointed to the end of the greenhouse.

Ryan saw someone lying down. He immediately approached the man who was followed by Jessie behind him. Jessie clutched Ryan's clothes very tightly. Jessie hoped that the person would just faint from the heat or exhaustion.

Jessie immediately shouted because she found the aunt she had been looking for lying lifeless before her face smiled. He turns his face away while Ryan pulls out his phone and calls Alex and the police. After calling, Ryan immediately brought Jessie into the house.

"Ryan, why is he smiling? It was so scary" Jessie said in a trembling voice. This is the first time he's seen such a creepy corpse that it's a very friendly person to everyone. Jessie felt sorry for aunt because this creepy thing happened to her.

"He was definitely poisoned. There was no external wound and there was no way he died with a smiling expression." Ryan looked at the frightened Jessie and kept clinging to her. "You don't worry. I'm here and now Alex is on his way here."

"All will be well. Daddy was told that aunt died of hemlock." Alex explained while hugging his daughter.

"Auntie couldn't have died because of that. He once explained that the roots are poisonous" Jessie said, holding back her tears.

Jessie's cry broke when Alex was back. He who initially leaned on Ryan immediately ran and hugged Alex. Alex continues to hug her daughter while occasionally kissing Jessie's forehead to calm her down.

"Everything will be fine. Now you go to the room and just rest. Daddy's coming when it's dinner time."

"I'm not going to dinner, dad. I'll just spend some time in the room. Today is a hard day." Jessie let go of her embrace and immediately walked towards her room. His stomach was very nauseous at this moment.

"Ryan, how can you be so strong about seeing all that stuff?" ask Jessie.

"It's not the first time I've seen such a thing and also I had a pretty tough childhood" Ryan explained.

Jessie simply nodded without asking any further. He now sleeps in his bed playing with his phone while Ryan stands by the door watching Jessie.

"Ryan, tomorrow you have to accompany me to class. If you can get into the toilet. I don't want to be killed while I'm in the toilet."

"I can't get into a woman's toilet. Now you just rest and sleep. I'm here and everything's gonna be fine."

Jessie chuckles and then turns off her phone. He was trying to catch his breath and trying to forget what happened just now. Jessie kept thinking that this was pure negligence. Jessie who was beginning to calm down finally fell asleep.

Ryan smiled at Jessie who easily fell asleep after a very unexpected incident.
