Ryan, Jessie, and Alexa were sitting there waiting for their food to come. They also talk about random things.

"So we're 2 years different?" Jessie said make sure. As they chat, Alexa says she is younger than Jessie. 2 Years younger.

"And you guys are childhood friends?" Ask Alexa back. Ryan and Jessie nodded immediately."Have you ever experienced childhood love for each one?" Ask Alexa. Ryan and Jessie were silent. Alexa just smiled at their composure.

Then their food arrived and their chatter stopped to eat first. As they were eating, suddenly there was the sound of a gun popping and directly hit the person sitting next to them. Ryan is instantly on standby mode to protect the two girls especially Jessie. People were screaming and running. But the door was suddenly locked from when.

People are becoming hysterical. Jessie and Alexa were silent. Either they know Ryan's or they're not scared at all. Alexa just rolled her eyeballs because she knew that doing it must be her father's enemy. And Jessie just kept quiet and was occasionally still seen taking her food.

"You can still eat at a time like this?" Ryan asked while looking at Jessie. Jessie just nodded and Ryan just clucked. He looked around as his hand held the pouch with a pistol. He couldn't have shot the guy because he was a sniper and he couldn't see anyone outside the restaurant and he was sure the bullet from the gun wouldn't hit the sniper.

Alexa called her father to tell him the situation. His father immediately intervened and went to the restaurant with some of his men. A few moments later the sound of gunfire was heard. This time the bullet hit a teenager next to Jessie.

Ryan immediately took Jessie and Alexa to the back of the restaurant. He told the two girls to bow. Ryan could only keep watch. His men have nothing to contact. They were lucky because the sniper hadn't shot them or rather hadn't.

Jessie and Alexa just sat in the back of the room. They continued their conversation in whispers. Ryan really doesn't think. How these 2 girls still chatted and even occasionally joked.

"You guys still have time to chat?" Ryan asked by raising 1 eyebrow. The two girls immediately nodded in unison. Ryan just breathed.

'Truly magical girl' Ryan said.

A moment later there were gunshots followed by consecutive shots directed at the entrance. Spontaneous people instantly protect their body and head. When he saw a tall, sturdy figure in front of the door, Ryan immediately pulled out his gun and pointed straight at the figure.

"Ryan wait it's Daddy!" Alexa. Ryan immediately saw clearly the figure and it was true it was Xavier. He immediately lowered his gun.

Alexa immediately got up and ran towards Xavier. He hugged Xavier tightly.

"Daddy you're old." Said Alexa while hugging her daddy. Xavier returned Alexa's embrace.

"I'm sorry, Daddy, take it easy that the guy's taken care of." Said Xavier in a guilty tone. The police went in and secured the people there. Jessie got up and walked over to Ryan.

"You okay?" Ryan asked as he looked at Jessie's body looking for a scrap of wound. Jessie shook her head and sure enough Jessie wasn't hurt in the least.

"I'm still hungry." Jessie. Ryan could only sigh at Jessie's behavior. Does he really have no fear? He could still be thinking about his hunger.

"Seriously? Can you still think of your hunger? Well, then, when this thing's over, we'll find a place to eat." Said Ryan. Jessie who heard that just nodded.

Xavier and Alexa walk up to Ryan and Jessie. Xavier immediately looked at the state of the two of them and it seemed that they were fine.

"I'm sorry for this mess. Looks like my enemy is after my daughter." Xavier. Alexa stared straight at her father. He did not want his friend to know his father's original job. He would lose a friend forever if it were like that.

"It's okay, Mr. Joneses. My lady and I were not hurt at all." Ryan said that there was actually a little bit of suspicion. Jessie nodded in agreement to Ryan's words.

"Because your lunch is interrupted, then I'll make up for it with dinner together. You can take your dad and Ryan." Xavier to Jessie. Jessie nodded again.

"alright. You can go home together and Alexa can come home with me. I'm afraid if you come with my daughter then you will experience something similar like that. And also you're safe from police questioning." Xavier told Ryan and Jessie. He and Alexa got into the car. Ryan grew suspicious of Xavier's movements. He and Jessie also get in Jessie's car.

"Ryan I'm still hungry. Don't go home first." Jessie. Ryan just sighed and they went straight to another restaurant. When Ryan finished his car, he turned off the engine and Jessie got out and into the restaurant. Ryan just shook his head and followed Jessie.

Ryan saw Jessie sitting by the window. He went to the table and sat right in front of Jessie. A waiter approached them and gave them 2 pieces of the menu.

Jessie and Ryan looked through the food and drink menu. After determining they immediately ordered it. They are also waiting for their food. Jessie is just playing her phone and Ryan is just staring at Jessie.

"Have you been satisfied looking at me?" Ask Jessie. He put his phone in his pants pocket. Ryan just smiled.

"Later your phone can fall if you put it there." Ryan changed the conversation. Jessie pulled out her phone and put it on the table. Jessie looked at Ryan. And now they were just staring at each other until an awkward atmosphere enveloped. Fortunately, the same waiter came and delivered their food. Ryan and Jessie ate their food. After eating their lunch, Ryan immediately paid for their meal even though Jessie refused. They also went straight home.

Arriving at home, Jessie immediately walked to her room and went to take a bath. Ryan called Alex to talk.

"Is Jessie having fun today with her friend?" Ask Alex. Ryan immediately tells everything that happened starting from Xavier, the shooting that occurred, and Ryan's suspicion of Xavier. Ryan also said that Xavier invited them to dinner. Alex hesitated to come to dinner. But Xavier is the father of Jessie's only friend. He did not want to ruin his son's friendship.

"alright... We're gonna come to dinner. Don't let your men not be contacted like that." Alex said firmly. Ryan nodded at Alex's words. The atmosphere melted after it had stiffened.

"What are you talking about?" Ask the curious Jessie. Her hair was still wet and there was a towel on her shoulders. Jessie came out because suddenly her father laughed in a loud voice.

"none. Jessie, Daddy's gonna ask. Who's your first love?" Ask Alex. Jessie who heard that immediately thought. "I forgot... But it looks like it's a cartoon character." Jessie said while trying to remember. Alex who heard that immediately sighed.

"Daddy means a real person." Alex made it clear. Jessie who heard that immediately fell silent. Now he knows what his father and Ryan are talking about.

"Come dad... I forgot." Jessie said indifferently. Alex just laughed. He knew that the answer in his heart and the one that came out of his son's mouth was different. He still remembers when Jessie didn't stop crying even for 3 days just because Ryan went abroad for college.

"You rest first, so that it will be a night of excitement to see your friend again." Said Alex. Jessie nodded and walked into her room followed by Ryan.

When in the room, Jessie immediately fell asleep in bed while playing her phone. He saw Ryan standing next to him. Then he turned off the phone and then charged the battery from the phone.

"Who was your first love?" Ask Jessie to Ryan. Ryan looked at Jessie. "Someone but he doesn't seem to like me." Said Ryan. Jessie who heard Ryan's reply was a little disappointed.

"You can tell me about your experience as a bodyguard? I'm sleepy." Jessie. Ryan nodded and pulled up the chair to sit down.

"Looks like a lot. From having to face a firearm to trying to defuse a bomb." Said Ryan. Jessie just shut up and heard Ryan's story.

"You ever been teased by your client?" Ask Jessie spontaneously and she immediately regrets the question. "You jealous?" Ask Ryan back. Jessie immediately shook her head and turned so that she turned her back to Ryan.

Ryan just sat there and waited until Jessie fell asleep. After Jessie fell asleep, Ryan looked out the window to make sure everything was okay.

Night is coming, Jessie is changing clothes. He saw Ryan wearing the same clothes that he had this morning, yesterday, and the first time they met. Jessie knew Ryan would change his clothes. Why should the clothes be the same?

"You don't want to change your clothes?" Ask Jessie. Ryan just nodded in response. Alex came in and saw his daughter who had changed clothes.

"You guys ready? We don't want to be late." Said Alex. Jessie and Ryan nodded. Then they walked out of the room. They got into Alex's car. Ryan was driving, Alex was sitting next to him and Jessie was sitting in the back.

Arriving at Alexa's house, they were immediately greeted by a passenger who immediately delivered them to the dining room. There is Alexa. Alexa immediately invited Jessie to sit next to him. Jessie walked over to Alexa and sat down next to her.

"Uncle and Ryan can sit in front of us." Say Alexa while pointing at the chair in front of them or rather across. "Daddy is coming soon. She's a long time to dress up to meet people." Alexa. Alex and Ryan nodded. A moment later Xavier came and immediately sat on the very end of the chair.

"Good night Mr. Hendricks. Mr Night. Rynv." Say Xavier with a flat face and a firm face. But changed 180⁰ when greeting Jessie.

"Good night Jessie." Xavier said while showing his smile. "Good night uncle." Reply Jessie.

"My goal for inviting you is to make amends for last night's incident. It is entirely my negligence that is unaware that many enemies. And they're after my daughter." Xavier. Alex and Ryan nodded. Jessie is being talked to by Alexa.

Xavier, Alex, and Ryan chatted to get closer. It was impossible for their son to be so familiar while his parents were not. After chatting Xavier directly asked the waiter to immediately prepare dinner.

Dinner was served immediately and the five of them immediately enjoyed the dish. After dinner, the waiters served dinner. Xavier immediately chatted back with Alex and Ryan. Jessie and Alexa gossip about the men in front of them. They told each other the disgrace of their fathers.

After dinner, Alex said goodbye. Xavier understands because tomorrow the kids have a morning lecture schedule so they can't sleep at night. Honestly, Xavier envies the closeness of Alex and Jessie. A normal father-son relationship without any interference.

"Jessie you can stay here sometime. Isn't it dad?" Say Alexa while looking at Xavier. Xavier smiled and nodded. "of course. Daddy knows you're bored at home." Alexa who heard that immediately hugged her daddy.

Jessie went home. Arriving home, Alex immediately permission to sleep first. He's already sleepy. Jessie went into her room. He immediately took his towel and pajamas.

"Don't take a cold shower." Ryan reminded me. Jessie nodded and went into the bathroom. After the shower, Jessie walked over to her dresser to dry her hair. He also tidied up his study table and prepared books for tomorrow's lecture. He also doused his phone and prepared for sleep.

"Can you tell me about your experience again?" Ask Jessie who is sleepy. Ryan nodded immediately. He sat down in the same chair and recounted his experience until Jessie fell asleep. And after Jessie fell asleep, Ryan immediately turned off his room lights and closed the curtains.

Ryan looked at the peaceful face of Jessie who was asleep. There was a little hope in his heart. He wished that he was the girl's first love. Ryan kissed Jessie on the forehead. Jessie seemed not bothered at all. Then he just looked at Jessie until finally he fell asleep in a sitting position on a chair.
