"Ryan, please hold on." Jessie said in tears.

They're running Ryan to the hospital fast. Xavier and Alexa sit in the front while Jessie sits in the back with Ryan lying down. Jessie rubbed Ryan's cheek. He did not want to lose the man he loved so much. Ryan has been shot twice because of him.

"Jessie, we'll be there soon." Alexa tries to calm Jessie down. Jessie nodded and kissed Ryan repeatedly. Ask him to survive.

When I got to the hospital, Ryan and Jessie were immediately taken by the nurse for surgery. Xavier and Alexa wait in the waiting room. They are also waiting for the arrival of Alex who is on his way. Bryan could not come because he was out of town for work.

Moments later, Alex arrives at the same time as Jessie's surgery. They decided to look at Jessie's situation first.

"I'm sorry daddy. Daddy knows that all this time what daddy did was wrong. You gotta get up and wait for Ryan." Said Alex.

The doctor said that soon Jessie would wake up. While waiting for the girl to wake up, Xavier decides to have a one-on-one conversation with Alex. They get out of the room and leave Alexa alone to look after Jessie.

"I don't know what to say to you. I should have told you from the first day of our first dinner with the kids."

"Have it, you would have told me right then and there I wouldn't have believed because I've never met you even if we didn't get along. I also apologize for not knowing that she was your lover back then. I'm not gonna force Jessie to come with me. She was already a big girl and had a boyfriend who might soon be her husband."

Alex just smiled faintly and hugged Xavier as a sign of peace. They then talk about things around their dark lives and business of course. Maybe they will work together if they can.

"Why have you guys been out there so long? Come in, Jessie's conscious. You didn't even realize that the doctors and nurses came in to check on her condition?"

Alex and Xavier both chuckle slowly and enter Jessie's room. Jessie when she saw Alex immediately turned her face. It makes Alex sad. But he is aware that all this happens because of it.

"Don't be mad at Alex. She raised you too." Xavier.

"I'm still disappointed in him."

"At least forgive him."

Jessie then looked at Alex and spread her arms. Alex hugs Jessie and apologizes to Jessie. Jessie, pat Alex on the shoulder slowly.

"I forgive you daddy. Don't sad. You've always been my daddy. At least you've admitted your mistake." Jessie. Alex then let go of his embrace and kissed his two cheeks.

"So it feels like having a sister. Can I have a word with you?" Ask Alexa with a smile. Jessie rolled her eyes and looked for Ryan.

"Is Ryan still not done with surgery?"

The three of them shook their heads to hear Jessie's question. Jessie let out a lethargic breath and tried to get up from her sleep. Xavier's got the kid under arrest.

"I was just a little hurt. The one who should be sleeping here is daddy Xav. Just by changing clothes you're already looking fine."

Xavier laughed softly. He was used to receiving wounds like this until his body went numb. So he just treated his wounds and changed his clothes. Xavier then let Jessie stand up and walked outside the room. Looks like her immunity is down on Jessie. Just look at the girl, say she's okay even though the road is slow.

After an hour of waiting, Ryan finally finished surgery. Ryan was taken into his room and the doctor attached several hoses to his body. When he was done, the doctor explained Ryan's critical condition.

"Ryan, get up quickly" Jessie said. He sat down and accompanied Ryan. Wishing the man would wake up a long time ago.

"Ry, you know what? the first time you kissed me was when you thought I was asleep when the truth wasn't. It's a good thing you didn't see my face turn red. It would be a shame if you'd seen that." Jessie then laughed to herself remembering the incident. Would Ryan laugh if he heard that? Maybe the guy would just mock her.

When Jessie was telling her own story, Ryan suddenly started convulsing. A panicked Jessie called the doctor to check on Ryan. Jessie was asked to leave the room. Jessie started crying again. He closed his eyes and prayed to God that Ryan would not leave him. Alex, Xavier, and Alexa also pray for Ryan.

There was a nurse's voice coming from Ryan's room. "Doc, the patient is not breathing."

At that very second, Jessie's vision began to blacken until she finally fainted. The last voice she had with was the voice of the three people who called her name and also called for the nurse to return to take her to the room.
