The Pawned Marriage

The Pawned Marriage
Dela Mayangsari

“Bye, Del. We'll call tonight, yeah. Don't forget to do the spatial task. Tomorrow collected.”

Reno Barlian menoel nose pointed Dela Mayangsari. Lover who has been dating since the 2nd grade High School.

“Makasi has nganterin, Ren. Tomorrow morning pick up again, right?”

“Iya dong .. Log in, gih. I waitin.”

Dela waved once more then ran a little into her beautiful house. Before long, we heard the Reno motorbike passing. Dela was still looking from behind the glass.

Heart's blossoming. Loving even though it remains within reasonable limits. That's how it has to do with Reno.

They were nicknamed couple goals by high school friends until college. Equally beautiful with a diluted brain.

Admission to the same university and faculty, the scores of both achievement indexes are the highest in its class. Student stars in architecture.

Their goals are simple. Married after graduation and opened a small architectural office.

It only takes two more years until they graduate college and realize their goals.

Dela waited until the sound of Reno's motorbike was not heard before moving towards her room.

“Dela, here to Papa's study,” comes the voice of Vino, Dela's much hated stepfather.

Left with no choice, Dela walked into the study that used to be her father's study.

“Sit,” Vino said again while finishing the work behind the laptop.

While waiting, Dela looked around the workspace that used to be the most beautiful place in the world.

With his biological father, there Dela discussed many things. They often spend time playing chess.

Everything changed after his father fell ill and died shortly afterwards.

A year later, her mother married Vino Bustaro, her husband's cousin through an arranged marriage between the families.

Vino, who is the same age as Dela's father, has never been married. He was appointed to continue the family company that had been led by Dela's late father.

For Ira, Dela's mother, marrying Vino was bad luck. The man married solely for property and office. Not to mention its light hand nature.

Repeatedly Dela saw her mother come out of the room with a bruise here and there. But his mother told him to be patient, saying everything was fine.

Accidentally, Netra Dela and her stepfather sat. Vino took off his glasses and leaned back into the large work chair.

“Papa has prepared everything. Tonight you're going to America to marry Papa's business friend. His name is Mr. Jake.”

Netra Dela.

“Pa! Don't carelessly marry Dela!” Pekik Dela did not accept.

Vino kicked the table.

“Shut up you girls don't know they're lucky! You and your mother are parasites to Papa.”

“Pa the parasite! Papa got married just because of Daddy's property, right?” Dela doesn't care.

“Articles!”

Vino kicked the table.

“Johan! Bring here!” Shouted Vino with his voice booming.

Dela stared fiercely at her stepfather about to make a mockery when not how long his mother entered while being dragged by two men.

“Mommy!”

A man held Dela. His mother did not fight. He complied as he sat like an insulted man on the floor. Face bowed.

“Mommy! Mommy's! Off! I said freelancing!”

Vino chuckled, then walked over to his wife. The guard man pulled Ira's hair back, making her face look up.

As powerful as Vino's power slapped Ira until it was toppled.

“Mommy! Your savage Vino Bustaro!” Dela screamed and struggled to see her mother being treated arbitrarily.

Ira already had no strength let alone the courage to fight back.

The male guards pulled Ira's body and grabbed her once more. Now Vino slapped his cheek next to him. Blood flowed from Ira's lips.

“Papa will continue to do this. The choice is you agree or your mother dies.”

Ira looked at her daughter gently and then shook her head.

“Do not. Mommy sincerely, Honey,” whispered with blood flowing from her already broken lips.

“Bene, right. There is no point in being a wife.”

Vino slapped again and again. Repeatedly. Every time the male guards rolled up they would straighten Ira's body roughly and lash out until Vino freely slapped both cheeks that had begun to swell.

Dela wailed and fought. But the man who was holding back was no match for her.

Vino is becoming. Ira lying helplessly had to receive repeated kicks in the abdomen.

“Papa! Dela agrees. Please stop! Don't torture Mommy again.”

Vino chuckles. He took a cigarette and lit it. Exhaling with a stupefied face.

Dela sniffled at the condition of her mother. Ira did not shed any tears. But once Dela said she agreed, the woman's netra glared.

“One condition. Mommy's coming with me to America.”

Vino laughed out loud.

“Then what a guarantee Papa you will not be weird there. There are no conditions. You leave tonight too. Remember, you are weird. Your mother will die.”

With a slow pace Vino approached Ira.

“Do not do anything to my mother!” Dela's cry of despair was unable to fight the man who was holding her back.

Chuckling and ignoring his stepson, Vino tore off Dahlia's shirt on her back. Deliberately show a lot of cigarette scars.

Ira closed her eyes as Vino pressed a hot cigarette against her back.

Dela screams of disobedience.

“Stop! Papa, I beg you. Stop don't torture Mommy!”

Ira closed her eyes tightly, enduring the pain of the skin exposed to cigarette coals.

Vino lightly removed the header and then moved it to another part. Once again Ira endured the pain without a sound because Vino would have given a heavier sentence if he whimpered.

Dela stared at the nanar. His mother is now between conscious and not.

Vino codes the man behind Dela to free her stepson.

Struggled, Dela rushed to her mother.

“Mommy, Dear Mommy. Wakes up. Dela will treat Mommy.”'s injuries

Vino looked at the two cynically then said.

“Do not bring a lot of clothes. Jake has everything ready. Papa's coming with you. Ira will stay here,” he said giving orders. No matter the condition of his wife.

“Papa will not be able to marry. Papa is not my guardian!”

“Stupid boy! I don't care if you commit adultery for life with Jake.”

Dela could only look at Vino hatefully while trying to reach her mother. He no longer cares about his future, which is important at that time he must immediately treat his mother.

“You must be strong, Del. Don't think about Mommy. The important thing is you have to survive for Mommy,” whispered Ira did not want to be heard by Vino when Dela swept her weak body into the room.

“Dela does not want to leave Mommy.”

“Mommy strong, really. The important thing is that you have to survive.”

“I will, Mommy. I'll go get Mommy. May my husband be a good man.”

Ira closed her eyes. He knows who Jake is. A widower in his sixty years who will later be with his daughter.

“Nease to think of Mommy. You have to hold on, yeah, honey. Promise?”

Dela nodded weakly.

Once in the room, he cleaned his mother's wounds. Compressing both cheeks that are now swollen.

Her tears sagged seeing so many scars and bruises on her mother's body.

How old his father had been to adore and glorify his wife. Now his stepfather considers Ira nothing more than a samsak.

When finalized. Mother and child hugged tightly. Crying, strengthening each other.

That night, Dela left for Jakarta with Vino to continue the flight to America.

***

Two days later, in Texas, Dela married civilly with Jackson McMalloy. A mining businessman.

His stature was tall, plump with a face far from handsome. The thick silver-colored mustache was transverse, the same as the color of his eyebrows and hair. His eyes are small blue.

He was sixty-five years old. His face was firm yet gentle as he spoke to Dela. Every now and then laugh about showing off the golden teeth here and there.

In the middle of the party, Vino whispered, “Review if Papa hears you all kinds. Will Papa bitch your mother's whole body.”

Dela nodded weakly. His dream is broken.

Jake on the other hand looks very happy. He took Dela everywhere. Introduce to his friends and family.

The old man had been married five times without children. All his wives were divorced with enough allowances to keep them quiet and enjoy life.

While Dela bergidig every time Jake's hand coiled around his waist, the man did not hesitate to start playing around with his little wife.

Kiss Dela here and there. His hands began to actively touch the body of the wife who had just been married a few hours.

Dela observes Jake's friends who all reveal falsehoods. Being happy when you don't care. Not realizing that Jake was looking at him with eyes that began to fog.

“You are incredibly beautiful, My Wife. I can’t wait for tonight,” whispered Jake in Dela's ear.

Dela forced a smile. With a shrewd look, Jake held the nape of his wife and then mat Dela's lips with full of napsu.

Dela refrained from pushing and slapping her husband. Shadows of wounds on the back of his beloved mother.

Guests cheered at the hot kiss of a newlywed couple.

“It’s time,” whispered Jake. Now his voice sounds hoarse.

Dela was intending to run away but stopped when from the corner of her eye she saw Vino standing not far away.

Finally, Dela obediently followed her husband up the circular staircase in the palace bath house.

***

The next day, Dela woke up with a tired body. The chastity he kept for Reno has been taken by Jake.

The man is like a bee who never gets tired of sipping honey. Dela must obey all her orders.

No matter whether the first-time Dela had a husband-and-wife relationship, she had to grimace the pain of holding the pain in the core area all night.

That morning, Dela was about to cleanse herself and perform the dawn prayer.

“Where are you?”

“I have to pray, Jake.”

“Do later.”

“Please, I will do whatever you ask as long as I can still pray,” pinta Dela with a pleading tone.

Jake grinned, showed off some golden teeth and gave permission. In his mind already flashed a wild fantasy that would be done on Dela.

Five times married but only this time he got a wife who is still holy. Jake also felt something different from Dela.

His previous wives only capitalized body and ability in bed. But Dela was like a new sheet he was ready to write.

Jake sees Dela coming out of the bathroom and runs a prayer.

After Dela finished her service, Jake sat on the edge of the bed. His plain old body showed a bobble here and there.

“Close, I collect your promise.”

Dela looked at Jake with a questioning look. When she finally understood what her husband wanted, having no other choice, with nausea in mind, Dela followed Jake's orders.

The man groaned full of pleasure.

A full day, Jake pranks Dela, only stopping if Jake steps up. It was just for eating and drinking or going to the bathroom.

The next day, the two honeymooned in the mountains.

If you can curse, Dela cursed her beautiful face and her beautiful body is ideal.

Just a few minutes he wanted Jake not to touch him.

Just for a moment just to feel that his body is his.

Just a few minutes, he wanted the world to stop spinning and let himself cry.

But it's all just wishful thinking. Jake educates Dela to be his passion filler at all times.

With Jake, Dela feels everything a man can do to a woman. And there was no choice for Dela to resign and obey.

Not wanting to have children, Jake tells Dela to install contraception. Again Dela resigned when an obgyn put an IUD in her womb.

Dela once ventured to ask, of all women, why she should marry Jake.

Rambunctious, Jake replied, “Vino lost the bet. He's the only one who's risking his stepdaughter. I thought why not. I see in the photo, you are beautiful and Vino also promises your chastity.”

Dela's emotions bubbled up, but she was not given a chance to get angry because Jake had already thrown her into bed.

If in the room Dela is a toy for her husband, outside the room, Jake treats his wife well.

Dela was given the opportunity to study the mining business. Meet the rich people of Texas. Jake taught her to talk confidently.

As it turns out, many men of Jake's age have young wives. Dela is friends with some of them. All are show wives.

Dela is not interested in being a show wife, but every time Jake invites her to business meetings.

It turns out that Dela is not only intelligent. His business intuition is also sharp. Jake has to admit it.

For his wife Jake made a small investment company. Dela invites her friends fellow wives of mining entrepreneurs to invest.

At first they agree because Jake's the one who guarantees. But Dela managed to make a profitable investment portfolio until finally the women flocked to invest money in the company Dela.

Although known as a young reliable business woman, but in bed, Jake still demands compliance. Dela no longer cared about her body. As long as her husband is satisfied and gives her freedom outside the room, she will do anything.

During her marriage to Jake, Dela was not allowed to return to Indonesia. After pleading, Jake finally allowed Dela to call her mother once a week.

His mother looked thinner and suffering. Yet it was covered with the loving gaze of the woman who gave birth to it. Ira always told her daughter to stay in any condition.

A year married, Dela got the news that her biological mother and stepfather died in a car accident. Vino's car rolled over and caught fire on the freeway. Both cannot be saved.

Dela pleads to be allowed to return to Indonesia, but Jake forbids.

With a broken heart he could only see his mother's funeral through the social media of his friends in his hometown.

Dela tries to find out if Reno is present, but the man she still loves is not seen in the photos.

Five years later, Dela married Jake.

One day Jake comes in with a wavy blonde-haired young woman with a Barbie doll-like face.

Jake said, “Del, I'll marry Brigitta soon. I've been taking care of our divorce. One million dollars I've transferred to your account. Go home to Indonesia.”

Jake's words are like melodious music to the ears. Dela faced her divorce happily.

From that day on, Jake never showed up his nose. Eventually, Dela was able to sleep well all night without having to be her husband's toy.

Dela did not issue the amount of money received. One friend said the amount Jake's former wives received was far more fantastic.

For him, being able to go home to Indonesia, making a pilgrimage to his parents' tomb was more than enough.

Jake's money is deposited in a bank in Switzerland. Only enough is taken for capital to open new sheets. Dela will return to Indonesia with the story that she has been studying in America.

Once the divorce certificate was received, Dela flew directly to Indonesia. Jake no longer seems to care about Dela. The old man was already preoccupied with his new toy.

In front of his parents' gravestones, Dela long kept silent. His ideals were once destroyed because of his stepfather, but now he got a golden opportunity to open a new page.

The bitterness made Dela much changed. After a few years in America he began to leave worship.

Heart hardens. Now Dela lives for herself. No matter what he has to do, the important thing is that he will make sure his wish is realized.

Dela is looking for two men who are her stepfather's minions. Paying for the bagundal, which in one go, the two men were found lifeless on the riverbank with incomplete bodies.

He then sold the house, took all the proceeds from the sale of the house without giving his family a penny. Though there is still the right of his family to a hereditary inheritance house.

The woman blames her family for her mother's match with Vino Bustaro, causing so much pain.

After his business was settled, Dela decided to move to Bandung. Leaving the city where he had once felt deep happiness and sadness.

In Bandung, he will continue one of his late father's business, namely investment.

Before leaving the city of birth, he changed his appearance as he did in college. Dela has gathered all the information about Reno Barlian and Nafisa Salsabila.

Staring at the reflection of his face in the mirror, Dela said, “We will realize our dream, Ren. No matter what.”
