The Pawned Marriage

The Pawned Marriage
Dispart

Nafisa hugged Aurelie and Milo tightly. It's very difficult to leave two hearts, but it's time to fight for the family.

Two days earlier, with tears in her eyes, Reno said that their house would be taken by Zayn unless Nafisa would take care of her mother until Reno could install her.

Just on those terms, Zayn was willing to give some leeway to Reno.

Now at a private airport, the family has to say goodbye.

“Mama, go not long,” isak Aurelie while continuing to embrace Nafisa.

“In shaa Allah, hopefully Mama can go home quickly and can be the same Brother and Grandpa again, yes.”

“Milo my dear Mama,” Irene Milo who still does not understand the matter but can feel that his mother will be gone long enough.

“Aah dear, Mama is also very dear Milo.”

Reno stared sadly. As the head of the family, he felt like a failure. Now his wife must be made a lien on his debts.

Soon Nafisa had to go to Yogyakarta to live with Zayn Malik's mother. His wife had to leave their young children behind.

Reno's chest feels tight.

“Sayang. Forgive Brother,” he said softly.

Nafisa stood up and looked at her husband's netra deeply.

“Udah there really is no other way, huh, Bang? Not that I don't want to take care of Mr. Zayn's mother, but pity the children. Can every day they be tipped to Bude Nanik next door neighbor?”

“Another option is that we leave home and look for a contract.”

“Isn't it better that way? The important thing is to gather and then we find a way out together.”

“The problem, the land in Klenjer is problematic, with the guarantee of the house taken even our debt has not been paid. Sorry Brother, Darling.”

Nafisa looked at her children who did not want to take off the embrace.

“Children's body yes, Bang. We fight for them.”

A man greeted.

“Bu Nafisa, we have to leave.”

Reno immediately grabbed his wife, the two hugged her tightly. Their children immediately embraced their parents.

“Video call every night, yes, dear. Please let me know if you are duty free. Don't cape-cape,” Reno's message while tightening his arms.

Nafisa nodded, tears drenching her plump eyelashes.

“Abang also take care of yourself. Do not be late to eat and take vitamins. I've been ready for three months.”

Nafisa stroked her husband's face with the back of her hand and turned to the children.

“Aurelie, Milo, you guys have to obey Papa, also hear the word Bude Nanik ya.”

Milo.

“Bu Nafisa,” reprimand boy earlier.

“For a moment, let my wife say goodbye to our sons and daughters,” said Reno firmly.

“Aircraft are ready to take off. You don't want to make Mr. Zayn riled up and drive you out of the house to the streets, do you?”

Aurelie and Milo were wide-eyed and immediately hugged their parents.

Hissing breath on the man.

“Father don't have to say that in front of the kids.”

The man chuckles.

“I Mikail. Assistant Mr. Zayn. Hurry up, I'm not in the mood to see a family drama.”

Nafisa sits on her knees to equalize her height with her children.

“Working name first yes, Darling. You guys are with Papa. Pray all Papa and Mama's affairs can be finished soon and we can gather again.”

The two little children nodded with tears in their eyes. Nafisa hugged, kissed their cheeks and forehead and handed it to Reno.

“I'm saying goodbye, Bang. Assalamualaykum,” he said with his throat choked.

“Waalaykumussalam. Three months, I'll pick you up. We'll call tonight. I love you.”

Nafisa then turns with a broken heart following Mikail's steps towards a private plane that will carry away from those she loves dearly.

Nafisa looked back. Reno and her two children stared softly. Milo was about to run in pursuit but was captured by his father.

The three-year-old boy called Nafisa while crying.

Nafisa's step stopped and was about to turn to calm her son when a cold voice sounded Mikail said, “One hour your house should be empty.”

Wiping away the tears streaming down her cheeks, Nafisa continued walking towards the plane, heeding the shrieks of the children who kept calling out to her.

The woman took a deep breath trying to toughen up from having to leave her son and daughter behind. The first time since they were born.

Before climbing the stairs of the plane, Nafisa put up a veil. She will live in a house where there is no mahram, so after discussing with her husband, Nafisa will cover her face to protect her from slander.

“Bismillaah, may Allah make things easier.”

Nafisa looked back and waved at her faithful family waiting in the airport for the plane to take off.

On the plane, Zayn was waiting with an impatient face. His forehead creased to see the woman with the thistles and the veil saying greetings.

“Assalamualaykum Sir.”

“Walaykumussalam, sitting in the back,” reply Zayn at a glance then cast a glance at the window.

Before long the iron bird moved and finally flew away leaving four hearts shattered by the separation.
