THE NEW ERA IS BEGIN: Secret Organization (English)
Chapter 11 - The warm coffee of an officer

"Lieutenant Colonel Rose Noir of the army, if you don't mind, you can call me colonel."

Clenching her hands on the table, Rose looked at Kai casually as if trying to control the situation. Meanwhile, Kai who had dried his body in the fireplace just stared at the cup of coffee Sonia poured.

A brown liquid and white liquidin are poured into the glass. A small smoke coupled with a fragrant aroma that Kai never knew, came out from there.

Despite having been given a luxurious service, apparently the party that was fighting with Rose could only fall silent without saying anything.

Therefore, Colonel Rose agreed to give sonia permission to give them space.

Sonia replied with a sigh.

After sonia left, rose picked up the cup on the table and raised it parallel to the view. For a moment Rose's eyes turned towards Kai, then said.

"Just relax, this drink tastes sweet. Unlike expensive drinks that have a somewhat hook but warming taste, as given by some nobles. In fact, this drink is quite delicious when enjoyed at some of the right moments."

Kai only listened, his gaze now becoming serious.

Rose noticed that, then brought the cup closer to the lips.

"Of course, there was nothing in it that could put a person to sleep. If you want, can we exchange cups?"

(It is not bad to give a sign that one's position is an enemy or not from the beginning. Even so, it seems like he doesn't trust me. )

Faced with interlocutors who from the beginning are very alert, it would be wise to incline them before starting to talk. Even though Rose knew it would be difficult at some point.

Rose really felt like she was talking alone at the moment. The other party had only been silent for a long time, like not wanting a convoluted conversation.

Sip a cup of coffee, then put it on the table. A small white smoke came out as Rose let out a breath.

Sakalipun said frankly it was a good choice, but Rose rejected that choice from the start. Rose took the paper document at the side and then shifted it from the table to front of Kai.

"According to what I read, some nobles often recruit villagers. They gave a registration form with a sword around one's neck, if one refused, who knew what would happen to that village later."

Understanding hidden words is an ability possessed by a follower. It wouldn't be wrong to say, it's their everyday language. Rose knew that well within certain limits.

As a person of integrity, and as a person of service to the Organization. Rose must adjust to the interlocutor, how they say something or how they express something.

It was all purely to avoid a one-way conversation.

"Are you involved too?"

Apparently the other party started to open his mouth. Indicates that Rose's efforts paid off.

"Of course not. I'm just the one who has a lot of eyes and ears."

"So you gave me the explosive necklace?"

"~Ahh.. That's what I mean."

(To understand the situation carefully is not an easy thing. But, he can really do it. As expected of the followers. )

Drawing conclusions from the vague information, was the minimal skill of a Dragon Lord follower. Up to this point, Rose could at least assess copentensi minimally.

At first Rose was doubtful of what she got from Sonia. If only she had not seen it in person, perhaps the immediate choice of moving Sonia to another place was the most reasonable move.

As long as the informant provides accurate data. Rose will be happy to provide whatever she needs.

Rose woke up from her seat, then slowly approached towards Kai. Footsteps leather shoes, giving a knocking sound from below. It knocked in a slow voice.

Just as Rose's fingers shifted on the table. Kai started asking.

"If you're not involved with them. Then why did you give me that? And why just me?"

"Oh, unfortunately I only have one."

Naturally, if one is intelligent enough to be aware of impetus. Then the person will suspect the giver is the mastermind from the beginning. It was a simple tendency and it made sense to look at the information he got. At least in this world.

It's very difficult to associate a necklace giver with someone like Rose who never shows her face even once. But if Kai is able to know or predict it, then it means.

(A Magic Swordman and an Analytical type. Good, it's gonna be easy. He must have understood the basic mindset of the people within the Guild. )

Rose smiled kindly while watching Kai's gestures with narrowed eyes.

He lifted his body and began to sit on the table. With the palms on the table and his gaze focused, they were now facing each other, Rose on top and Kai on the bottom. Rose then suffered something.

"There was once a villager who lost a loved one. Not long after, he gets information a group of people kidnapped him. Perhaps believing in the sweet story of the hero who slaughtered the demon army for the sake of mankind, the man eventually tracked down the kidnappers and found their base. He set out with a full sense of justice in his chest and believed in his experience as a former mercenary knight. But—"

Rose was silent for a moment then continued.

"We both know what's going to happen to that person. "

Kai looked towards Rose. Her purple eyes stared to see how Rose looked at her. Then answer.

"The person would be late to realize when dozens of sword eyes pierced into his stomach. "

Rose smirked. The answer itself was quite precise, but what Rose had in mind was different from what Kai had in mind.

"To be more precise, what that stupid villager did, was simply to be a snack for pets."

Hearing that, Kai turned his gaze back from the sweet side of a woman.

"What do you want from me?"

Rose again grinned widely, To the point where it would make anyone a man who has an oddity in his head, began to be attracted to Rose as the opposite sex.

Put a hand in his pocket and take something.

The sound of knocking was heard when a small metal the size of a knife but not a knife was placed on the table. It was a gun with a 9mm caliber bullet.

A weapon that is currently rare in the world, and there are only a few parties who have it. To Colonel Rose, it was the weapon he was most familiar with. Where he doesn't have to spend time chanting incantations just to kill one person.

The gun was shifted from the table and stopped, right above Kai's head. Rose's eyes narrowed as she softly said towards Kai.

"Information is power, and trust is a cornerstone that we find hard to ignore.."
