Chapters 11. The gap

Zalika walked lethargicly into his residence.

"Have you come home, son?" zahra greeted him

Zalika gasped as she looked at Zahra who looked so neat, "Where are you going?" ask Zalika

"Mom's going to mourn, your grandmother's dead son?" answer Zahra

Zalika was not surprised because he already knew first. She put her body on the sofa.

"You change clothes and we go!"

"Zalika doesn't come with me, I'm at home,"

"Why??" Zahra seemed to be approaching her daughter

"I'm just tired, mah,"

"Just for a moment, baby, you don't want to visit your grandmother for the last time,"

"Grandmother never loved Lika, she even threw us away,"

"But all of that has passed and Grandma has been kind to us,"

"Stay Lika does not want to mah," Zalika then went into his room.

Seeing her sulking daughter made Ivory catch up with her. The man slowly gave understanding to his stepson.

Thanks to his patience, Zalika finally wanted to come with him.

Upon arrival at the residence of the grandmother Zalika seemed to maintain a distance with the mother. He didn't even want to see Dirga even though he missed him so much.

Zalika preferred to read the yasin in front of the body of the grandmother rather than follow her mother who met Dirga and his wife.

Finished reading Yasin Zalika went out to get some fresh air. Still vividly remembered how he used to be happy before being driven out of the house by the grandmother merry.

He who is the only child feels that Dirga used to love him very much. But everything changes when the presence of Delia and she is expelled from the house.

"At Lika's home?" ask Dirga when Zahra returns home

"That's it!" zahra shouted towards Zalika who was sitting alone in the garden

Dirga slowly met his daughter. He sat next to her without Zalika noticing.

"How are you, baby?" her sweep made Zalika reflex turn her head towards him

"Dad??"

Open up only Zalika who was surprised when she saw Dirga beside her but so was Dirga. He did not expect that Zalika was the woman who met him in the office.

"So you're really my daughter, I deserve to know you" she said in shock

"I'm sorry Lika didn't say hello to you because Lika was afraid that you wouldn't recognize me" Zalika replied, looking disappointed

"I'm sorry father son, father is not a good father to forget his own daughter" replied Dirga

The man then hugged Zalika and gently rubbed her hair.

"I'm sorry, baby,"

"Lika also apologized for not saying hello to me right in the office," replied Zalika

"You're not wrong baby, I know you must be awkward to say hello to me first. Forget about what happened this morning. I'm so happy to see you again,"

Dirga and Zalika seemed to have a warm conversation. The two even seemed to praise each other making Zahra proud as the two looked familiar.

"Daddy is so proud of you, son, you're great for being the best engineer in the country without anyone's help. I pray that your career at HK Construction will shine brightly and that you will soon be reunited with the man who will be your priest,"

."Aamiin, sir,"

When the two were busy talking suddenly Wibi and her two friends arrived at that place.

"Za!" the thrill was so surprised when he saw Zalika with Dirga who was so familiar.

"Sir Wibi???"
