Chapter 17

Zalika smiled as she looked at her father figure in the mall.

"Dad??" he said with sparkling eyes

The longing made the little girl then follow Dirga who was about to leave the mall. The girl deliberately hid when she saw Dirga put her shopping bags in her trunk, when Dirga received the call he immediately went into the trunk that was still open and hid behind Dirga's groceries so that the man did not see it when he closed the trunk.

He then drove his car out of the mall.

When he arrived home, his phone suddenly rang. Dirga was shocked when he got a call from his ex-wife Zahra. The woman who had disappeared from her life without any news suddenly contacted her naturally made her wonder, what is with her.

"Hello," He had just greeted her, but Zahra answered him immediately with a worried speech.

"Are you with Lika now, she's gone, I think she's looking for you. She misses you so much that she tries so hard to see you?"

"Zalika??, I'm not with him?" answer Dirga

"I saw in the cctv mall he was following you, trying to check your car, maybe he was hiding in your car,"

Dirga immediately got down and checked his car, but he did not find his daughter.

"I checked my car and didn't find Lika, maybe she's still in the mall" Dirga said

He then opened the trunk of his car to drop off his groceries.

The man was so shocked when he saw Zalika lying in the trunk of his car.

"Lika, lika," he said trying to wake her up, but Zalika never opened her eyes

Fearful of something happening with her daughter Dirga then takes Zalika to the hospital.

Upon arrival at the hospital Dirga immediately carried his daughter to the ER room.

He looked anxious while waiting for him in front of the ER room.

"Mas Dirga,"

Dirga immediately got up from his seat and approached a doctor who called him.

"How's my daughter doing, Doc?" ask her with a worried tone

"Your daughter is fine, she's probably just limp from not eating yet" replied the doctor

"Thank God, I think he's out of breath because he's locked up in the trunk of a car,"

"Thank you very much, doc" said Dirga then met Zalika

Zalika was so happy when she saw Dirga approaching her.

"Dad," said the little girl, hugging him tightly

"I miss my dad,"

"Father also miss Lika," Dirga replied while kissing her daughter

Suddenly he heard the sound of his daughter starving.

"I'm sorry dad, it looks like the worms in my stomach are starting to starve" said Lika immediately holding her stomach

"Such a father's son to starve, what would you like to eat dear?"

"Fried chicken!" zalika

"Ok, then let's eat!"

"Let's go!" zalika exclaimed immediately down from her safe and followed Dirga to a fast food restaurant

Seeing Zalika eat greedily made Dirga feel guilty for wasting her daughter all this time.

He gently rubbed his hair, "You must have suffered all this time, forgive me son,"

"Daddy don't eat?" ask Lika

"Thank you dad," said Lika back' put food in her mouth

Dirga then contacted Zahra to tell him about Zalika. The little girl banned him.

"Don't call mommy, today I want to be with dad. So please don't tell mama first, because she definitely won't let me be with you if she finds out I'm with you" he said

Seeing Zalika's sadness made Dirga undo his intention to contact Zahra.

"Now what do you want?" ask Dirga

"I want to play with Dad?"

"Well then you eat first, after that we play to the park,"

"Gaziness!" zalika was so happy

Dirga finished eating and then took Lika to a playground. Zalika looked so happy that day. Although only playing the swing but he was so happy because he could play with his father.

While the two were playing, Dirga's phone kept ringing.

Delia was so upset when Dirga started ignoring calls from her. Even though Dirga did not pick up his call, he kept calling her.

"I'm sure he's meeting the actor, just be careful if he dares to tease my husband!" out of annoyance Delia then contacted Merry and told him about Dirga who would not pick up the phone from him because he was with Zahra.

Merry was instantly wrathful to hear Delia's words. He immediately ordered some of his employees to look for Dirga's whereabouts.

Seeing there was an incoming call from his mother, Dirga immediately invited Zalika home.

The boy did not want to go home even though Dirga had given him some reasons.

He kept holding her and would not part with her.

"Darling, it's late in the afternoon so we have to go home. Tomorrow we can play again. Kasian also mamah you must be nyariin because you left without Permission,"

"I don't want to go home, Lika wants to be with me" said the girl, holding her

"She baby, but now I have to get back to work and you have to go home. I promise you tomorrow I'll take you to play after school,"

"No, I must be lying!" sahut Lika cried bitterly

Dirga was so sad to see his daughter who would not part with him. Although he also did not want to part with her, he still had to take her home because he did not want his daughter to meet his mother.

He could imagine what would happen if Zalika met Merry. The woman would definitely hurt her heart by cursing or insulting her.

"Dad promised tomorrow I'd come pick you up for school. Let Lika believe I'll give my dad's phone to you, there's only a dad's number here so you can call me anytime if you miss me" she said

Lika finally agreed to go home albeit with a heavy heart. Dirga immediately drove his car to drive Zalika to his house.

Upon his arrival at Zahra's house, his ex-wife was waiting for him at the door.

Seeing Zahra staring at Dirga with an annoyed face made Lika directly come down from Dirga's sling and approach him.

"Mamah don't be angry with father, actually Lika who told him not to tell mamah because I still miss father, so don't get angry father ya mah," said Lika lirih

"I'm sorry Za, next time I'll definitely tell you if Lika is with me" Dirga said

Zahra remained silent without answering her words.

Dirga then say goodbye to her daughter when she is leaving, but Zalika who still misses her tries to hold her back.

He hugged her and did not let her go. Seeing the sight made Zahra immediately approach Zalika and release her from Dirga's embrace.

"Honey, your father must go home, otherwise you will not be able to see him again" said Zahra, making Lika slowly release her embrace

The girl looks so sad to see Dirga's departure, of course it makes Dirga also feel sad to see her.

Not only did Dirga heavily leave her daughter but Zahra also grieved at the sadness on her daughter's face.
