Johan laughing. "Ah, he's too strong to die. Tapj is good for introspection Din. Next time don't attack too easily. Science is for self-defense. Not to take revenge."
"Yes, Dad. I remember it so much."
"Given that you're just two now, you want me to be with you?"
"Ah, no need Dad. Aunt Irene is alone dong. Its alright. I'm safer myself eh same Bi Imah than the same guy."
"All right then. Do not forget to lock the doors and windows. We'll meet again tomorrow at school, okay?"
After Dinda hung up the phone she looked at Bi Imah. The woman still looked at him with a look of amazement and disbelief. Dinda laughs. "Why Bi?" tanyakanya.
"Non, so great, huh?"
"Great what?"
"I saw, Non. Wow.., the kick can be exactly so. That must be the result of non exercise every morning huh? It's not in vain Mr. Johan taught."
"Will aunt be taught?"
"No ah. People are so old. Later even the bone itself is broken," Bi Imah laughed.
"Abibi, did I go too far with her?"
"Yes.., little Non. But come to think of it, he's also outrageous."
"How about Bi?"
Bi Imah recounted how she saw Bram laughing with pleasure after taking Bustaman off and Della leaving. "Auntie thought, laughing like that was completely inappropriate. She should be sad to lose Miss Lilis."
For Dinda, Bi Imah's story is an additional belief in Bram's ugliness. "Come, what else does Aunt have to say about her?" he asked excitedly.
Bi Imah shook her head with a regretful face. "Darling, there's no more nond."
"Did Auntie not like to snack or sneeze?"
"No, no."
"It's a shame."
Bi Imah is sorry. Yeah, it's a pity.

Dinda's actions have led to a new case. Bram threatened to complain to the police. Though doctors and hospitals are read out by Bustaman who feels responsible. Apparently after the pain subsided he became fierce. Bustaman of course became anxious. Moreover, Dinda's actions were witnessed by Bi Imah, until the complaint had power. So when compared to the plan to report the suspicion that Bram had drained Lilis's treasure, Bram's complaint had more power. They only suspect without evidence or witnesses, while Bram has eyewitnesses and a doctor's visa about his wounds.
"You're supposed to understand his hot temper, Mr. Bram. Plus he's sad." Bustaman tried to persuade.
"Memurlumi what?" said Bram while holding his jaw. Still hurts when moved. Let alone to talk, eating is difficult. He had to eat so as not to starve. "It's hard for me to understand. I tried to be nice to him. Uh, he's so brash. It was awful for that kid. One day he could kill me."
"Tempo the day you claimed to have a sense of togetherness to Dinda, because her mother had spent her savings without you being able to prevent it. Now suppose it's breakeven now" Bustaman said again.
"Huh, what's even? This persecution is not only physical bus sir, but also self-esteem. He insulted me."
"He's not an adult. Just forgive me, sir."
"Why isn't he apologizing?"
"He won't."
"Well, he doesn't feel guilty, does he? From there it was clear that his hatred could not be lost. It's awful."
"So you're going to keep complaining about what he did?" bustaman asked worriedly, but also irritated. He was also impatient again because he had to be humble continuously.
"I won't complain if my conditions are met, sir."
"What conditions?" Bustaman thought Bram would ask for compensation in the form of money.
"just simple. You do not want Dinda to be complained, so as not to become excited with the consequences of defaming. Well I don't want to be defiled either."
"Washed?" Bustaman did not immediately understand.
"Yes. I predict you'll complain to me on charges of draining Lilis's property. That's a shame. Although it is not proven, but such a scene is enough to destroy my good name. So the conditions are just that. We don't defile each other."
Bustaman. Bram's proposal was so unexpected. But he doesn't want to decide for himself. "Then I will negotiate with my family sir. I will give you news later tonight. Can I have your phone number?" bustaman asked when he remembered that Bram had moved to Dinda's house and had not given his new address.
"I don't have a cell phone yet. Let me just call you around nine."
"Just ten o'clock I'm home." Bustaman gave me his home phone number.
After reaching an agreement, Bustaman immediately contacted Della and Johan. The meeting will be held at Dinda's house in the afternoon.
Just like in the past, they regrouped. Dinda was overwhelmed with guilt. He had predicted that the consequences of his actions were something that could be difficult. Bram took advantage of the opportunity.
"He's very clever" Johan commented.
"Flame," Della confirmed with anxiety. "He knows we suspect him, so he uses this opportunity. If he's innocent, why would he do the exchange? Moreover, he felt hurt by his pride and was furious. He was afraid of being killed by Dinda. Well, then why doesn't he just admit it without compromising everything?"
"He was guilty" said Dinda.
Three pairs of eyes stared at Dinda, Something in Dinda's tone of voice made them stir. They realized there was no argument as to what Bram's fault was. But the firmness of that belief is not rightly called stubbornness. There was something that Dinda deeply understood but could not understand them.
That awareness is what makes them reluctant to argue or express doubts even though they feel they cannot be sure. But the cause is not compassion but respect. At his young age Dinda showed seriousness and deep concern about the case. Dinda followed her instincts, then observed, studied, and then acted. It was all because of his love for his mother.
"What should we say to him?" ask Bustaman. "Do you have Dind's gut?"
"If we let him sue and in the meantime we complain about him, can we win Om?"
Bustaman. "I didn't mean to pessimize you, Dind. But the truth is we are hard to win. For now, we can't complain about him without evidence and witnesses. That's what the police will ask for. He has the power to tell you. You can be hard both now and later. Now you're facing an exam. And in the long run, you can continue to have a bad reputation. What if you need a letter of good behavior?"
