Chapter 31 The mission continues

Bara just arrived at the office. He had not even been able to sit in his seat of power.

"Young man, why did you enter this room?" Timo asked who managed to upset Bara.

"Is this not my room? I have the right to enter or leave this room as I please, Timo." He answered while opening his ash suit, then hung it neatly on the hanger that was already available in his room.

"I know this is the young master's room. But, I mean did you forget that this morning you had a meeting with the planning team." Timo.

For a moment, he was silent, as if trying to remember. "Why can you forget? It's not usual that I forget my daily schedule in the previous office." The chide in the heart.

"Is that so?"

"Yes young master."

Bara also immediately put on his suit without being helped by Timo. Then he stepped out of the room followed by Timo.

"Aren't you the one who didn't tell me there was a meeting this morning, Timo?"

"I've been telling young master since last night." Answer Timo.

"So you're accusing me of forgetting the office?" Bara said that while stopping his steps and staring intently at Timo.

"It seems to me that didn't tell the young master's schedule for today. I'm sorry." Timo was forced.

He apologized for something that was not his fault, that he did to make the atmosphere this morning peaceful.

Bara smiled, then resumed his steps towards the meeting room. Timo also followed closely behind.

Jehan is currently investigating the case fourteen years ago. He went around to visit an old friend of Bara's mother, as Bara had told him at dawn.

Jehan visits every home of Lanjani's friend Bara's mother based on the list Bara gave her. He has visited almost all of the people on the list. And they all know Lanjani, but there's no information connected to what happened fourteen years ago.

"There are two more houses. Hopefully one of them can give me the info I need." Jehan said expectantly.

After driving for nearly twenty minutes, Jehan arrived at one of the houses on the list. He was also welcomed there. And when Jehan spoke of Lanjani, a gardener in the house approached, and whispered to Jehan.

"I know very little about the accident that killed Ms. Lanjani." It was the gardener's whisper that made his master ask him what he whispered to Jehan.

"I used to work with Lanjani. If you want to know about the car that hit him that day, go to the junkyard." The gardener whispered to Jehan.

Jehan nodded in understanding. He did not fully believe the words of the gardener.

In short, Jehan finally left the house. He also came to the last house that was far away. It took thirty minutes to get to the next house.

And Jehan has now arrived at the last house. Apparently the owner of the house opened a chicken noodle shop. Jehan immediately entered by pretending to be a customer.

Jehan ordered a bowl of chicken noodles that the store owner delivered directly to his desk. It was then that Jehan used the opportunity to talk to the man.

"I am Bara Leonardo's friend the son of Lanjani's mother." Whisper Jehan.

Hearing Jehan's words, the man immediately sat down before Jehan. He looked at Jehan with glassy eyes.

"Tell Nak Bara to visit me when he's free." Just a word of it said the man who owned the shop, then he rushed to leave Jehan who was still confused and curious.
