The Memory Shop
Memory Shop: Know Everything

"I hope he's all right" retta said. Zaim was only silent in the spot looking at Serena.

Although Zaim should have pityed himself, he was more compassionate to Serena who suffered more.

The bread had run out, but Serena's sadness had not finished since she had eaten it five minutes ago.

At that moment, the person he had never expected to know about here, now entered the shop room.

"Serena?" Her father moved swiftly to reach Serena. However, he was startled by his daughter who suddenly hugged him and cried. And then, he froze.

"Sorry Rena, Dad! Rena was wrong," her sobbing sounded bitter in the man's hearing. He wondered what had just happened to his daughter?

"You why? Does anyone bother you?" His father asked firmly.

Serena shook her head in response and hardened her crying voice.

"Rena is sorry! Rena's sorry!"

That's all Serena can say right now. Although the father's head was filled with many questions, he replied and tightened the embrace of his beloved daughter. This is the first time he has been embraced by his only child since three years ago.

Retta was moved by what she saw. But Zaim was jealous. Serena may have lost her mother, but her father did not remarry under the pretext that her son would not lose her affection.

"Yuk, home! We're talking at home." The middle-aged man stretched his arms and looked at Serena affectionately.

Serena thought, at first she would be scolded or dragged all the way to the house. However, in fact his father behaved as gently as this.

Serena nodded faintly and walked with her father leaving this memory shop. Forgot goodbye.

Not even five minutes, Retta asked Zaim.

"Keep, the cake isn't paid?"

🍰

Eight in the morning it's open. There are still four hours left for Retta and Zaim to occupy this store, because at twelve o'clock they have to go to School.

They haven't told Mr. Bread about Serena yesterday. Now Zaim who dared to speak up because Retta was too afraid to be scolded.

"Sir Bread, sorry! The customer who didn't pay for the cake yesterday."

"Not a problem." As if he did not care about it, Mr. Bread instantly disappeared backwards. And as usual, he would spend hours there.

Not two minutes later, the person being talked about showed up. "Hi Retta! Hi Zaim!" the friendly sap is full of cheerfulness.

"I just remember yesterday I haven't paid yet." Serena said as she approached Zaim. He reached into his sling bag and gave Zaim six legal payment papers worth one hundred thousand.

"Oh yeah, you guys aren't saying anything, are you? I feel guilty."

Hmm ... maybe they feel they do not want to burden their friends who are facing problems with money bills.

"Enough, right?"

Zaim, who had just wanted to give him his change, was suddenly confined.

"Less, huh?"

Retta and Zaim were only face-to-face when Serena again reached into her bag and gave four papers of equal value to the cashier.

"It's not that expensive, though." Retta told.

"Oh." Serena put the money back in the bag in shame. Now he thinks that Retta and Zaim consider him a show-off.

He smiled awkwardly. "I think it's expensive because of that magic bread." Serena realized that it was magic bread. And he doesn't react like Retta and Zaim do? That's grand.

"Bread is free. I told you yesterday that it was a gift" Retta said.

"Yes." Yeah." Serena smiled back. "Gift from whom?

"Owner of this shop."

"Ohh. That handsome om-om?"

Although Retta and Zaim wanted to laugh, but they could not ignore that fact.

"Yes, that one."

"Ohh. If so, please take my gratitude, yes."

"Yes. Actually the person is in the back, just can not be disturbed because it is busy. He must have shaken up our conversation" explained Retta.

"Oh, really?"

Serena paused for a moment.

"Thank you, om!" revealed.

Although unable to answer, Serena considers her gratitude well conveyed. And unbeknownst to anyone, Mr. Bread just smiled thinly at the place where he was.

"Don't tell anyone about the bread, will you?"

"Yes, I had no intention of telling anyone, really, from the beginning. Don't worry." Serena smiled sweetly.

"This is the change."

"Make you as a tip."

Serena turned around to leave this place. However, before exiting the room, Serena turned her head for a moment and said, "Thank you for the hard work! Hye!"

He waved his hand and left this memory store. Retta and Zaim only looked at Serena until she disappeared from view in the hope that she would not come again to ask for the same bread.

"Ouch!" A child in blue pants and a white uniform muttered as Serena slammed into her small body.

"Eh, maaf. You okay?" Serena has reflexes. However, the boy did not seem to be annoying and protested a lot because he was the wrong one to have run around on the sidewalk.

Regardless of Serena, she ran back and entered the memory store as a hideout. Who is he avoiding? Serena just shook her head at that and stepped back without comment.

"Where is my father?" The voice of one of the two women was deliberately spoiled.

"It's all because of you, you know? My soul mate's running away, huh." The other suddenly blamed him.

Kaillos Jogamyin Zua, that's the name that's clearly on the uniform nameplate. A handsome Junior High who fought over two beautiful but crazy girls.

Tera and Noaro are their names. Although not brothers, their nature and behavior are very similar to that often mentioned twins by the rest of the School. Kaillo thought so too.

"You go there, why do you follow me?" The older Noaro of Tera protested this girl beside him in annoyance.

"I want to go back, too."

"Yes, but don't follow me!"

"If I wanted to come, why? What if you suddenly find Kaillo alone?"

"Yes, I'm a match for Kaillo."

"Ih, I can't. I don't accept it!"

"Who are you, who is forbidden?"

"I'm Kaillo's father."

They quarreled, but luckily their voices shrank in Kaillo's hearing. And eventually disappeared.

"Hi!" sapa Retta was friendly and even made Kaillo jump in shock.

"Whose brother?" tanyanya full of search.

Weird kid.

"Sister, this shopkeeper," Retta said.

"Oh." Kaillo changed her look and scratched her head like a boy.

"Is there anything you need to help?" retta asked, still with an expression of hospitality that had not been lost.

Kaillo shook his head with a clumsy smile. Awakening to something in this store, Kaillo stood up from his height and stepped forward to take a deeper look.

Her net explored the entire room with sparkling eyes. The beauty displayed was really his ideal type. A small and simple room with a sepia feel that he dreamed of.

"Well, cool!" he murmured unconsciously.

"Well, the first time I've seen such a good pastry shop in Jakarta" Kaillo said. He looked at Retta who was beside him full of joy.

"What, anyway? Is that a compliment or a mockery?" inner Retta. To be honest, in his eyes, there was nothing cool about this cake shop. It's a little cruel, but that's the fact. People's tastes are different.

"Who owns this store?" ask again.

"Oh, her?" He put a finger on Zaim who was guarding the cashier.

"No. We're both workers."

"Ohh. Then who?" This kid seems very curious. What would he do if he knew who owned it?

Over time this child is upsetting too, yes. Retta simply chimed in with a face that tried to smile sincerely. "But you don't need to know, yeah."

"Gee!" pissed Kaillo.

"Sister, as long as Brother knows, yes. I am 14 years old. And I can see from Big Brother's face, our age is definitely not much different."

"Knowing boy," thought Retta. However, he did not seem to be so bothered about it. That means his face still looks very young, right?

Retta is aware of that. When she looked up, she always thought her face was still too cute for a teenager who soon graduated from school.

Even so, he wanted this child to leave immediately. He read the sign in the Junior High's uniform and asked, "Your name is Kaillo, right?"

"Well, Kaillo. You're not going to school? Maybe it was your girl friends who were looking for you, you know. And maybe there's a teacher waiting for you to give punishment in class."

Kaillo woke up and looked at his watch which had shown at 08.35 am.

"Dead," he murmured in panic.

"Sister, I really want to buy a cake here, only I do not bring the right money to pay. I'll be back tomorrow, yeah!"

He immediately came out of the shop and galloped to exert all his strength after revealing it.

Retta looked at that and just smiled. Although he will continue to be upset, his desire to have a sister is very volatile.

Memory Shop's.

...The epilogue...

"Em .. How did Papa know I was at the cake shop?" serena asked on the way home.

The questioner only silently put on a nervous face, not knowing what to answer to his daughter.

"Ec ... Papa's sorry."

"To ngawasin you ... Papa install applications that are connected to you so that Papa can easily find your location where."

"That intention?"

The father was afraid that his favorite son was angry again, so he was a bit heavy in delivering this. Ever since Serena ran away from home, her father had deep regrets.

"Yes." Yeah."

"Jude."

"Hm?" Serena's father looked at Serena questioningly. Why is that kid so ordinary? He should be angry, right?

"From today, I'll follow everything Papa says and won't dispute Papa's ban."

"Thus ... Papa doesn't have to bother looking at me anymore."

Serena smiled and kissed her father's cheek while driving. The father who was very surprised could only be silent and smile.
