07.40 am.
Wafaa sat in front of the shop, waiting for the owner to arrive. Today was his first day of work, so he should not be late. Even he woke up at half-six to keep watch.
Five minutes later, Mr. Bread arrived. "You came earlier than me? Good," he praised. Wafaa woke up and smiled shyly. This is the first compliment she gets from her boss at the new workplace.
Mr. Bread opened the shop door and they entered together. Mr. Bread told him what to do and what not to do. Wafaa understood well and just nodded his head.
"Start working!" Mr. Bread went into his room that no one could penetrate and began the performance of baking.
A day, Mr. Bread only came out three times - it could be less than this, even if it was just putting the finished cake into a window whose section was empty.
Wafaa began to take a rag and rubbed the entire table and chair there. It also sweeps and cleans all the parts that feel dirty.
In the middle of it, at exactly 08:00 am, Retta and Zaim arrived and watched everything.
"Huh, it's finally done as well," he murmured in relief.
Wafaa turned around and greeted, "Hi!" waving their hands in a friendly manner.
"You know everything? By yourself?" retta asked half surprised. Because, he and Zaim who work alone are exhausted, especially alone.
"Yes." Yeah." Wafaa smiled meaningfully.
"Oh, welcome!" He also bowed his head to the first customer this morning. It serves visitors well while managing cashier money.
Retta and Zaim just stood in the corner staring at her. Their position has now been completely replaced.
Not wanting to be quiet, Retta and Zaim helped in the next customer arrival.
The attitude Retta showed at Wafaa was too harsh. He always looked cynically at the girl who only glanced at him.
All the time, Retta spent her energy thinking about the girl and suspecting her a no-no.
09.08 am.
The children who previously claimed to be Kaillo's life partner came. Come and enter the shop.
"Welcome!" say Zaim, Retta and Wafaa simultaneously.
The two blue skirt boys did not care about them and were busy talking.
"He said he also vomited a lot" Noaro said worriedly.
They look ... get along.
"Huh? What a pity, Kaillo," pity Tera.
"Hi sisters, there's something we can-"
"You guys just talked about Kaillo, huh?" sela Retta to Wafaa's speech.
The children stared at Retta from top to bottom. Do they intend to discriminate?
"Lumayan is beautiful" Tera whispered to Noaro. Retta could hear everything and almost blushed.
"What is Kaillo's relationship with?" The girl, whose full name was Noaro Algajusia, crossed her chest and stared intently at Retta.
"Oh? I've only ever met you, I'm." Deciding not to have any problems with the unstable boy, Retta simply replied as she was.
"He's sick, huh?"
"Yes," said Tera lazily.
"If you may know, what pain?"
"Ih, Brother. Don't be curious, deh," Tera replied annoyed. He's got a chest like Noaro.
"We want to buy cake here, not talk" he added. Retta just exhaled a sigh of resignation nan upset.
"Well, what cake would you like?" His voice was trying to soften him.
"The medium-size cake is one, which has strawberries on it," Tera said.
"Eh, Kaillo doesn't like strawberries." Noaro.
"Oh, yes. Almost there." Tera patted his forehead softly.
"Known who knows Kaillo the most?" Clearly, Noaro was fishing a ruckus.
"Not be so confident, time. I just forgot, though." Tera hit back cynically, not wanting to lose to his toughest rival.
"Oh, huh?" Noaro raised an eyebrow, underestimating this girl beside him.
"Well, I know more about Kaillo than anyone."
Their quarrel ended there and Noaro as older just took a breath. Noaro doesn't want much to say.
"Eu .. We order a medium-size tart cake of chocolate flavor." Wafaa nodded and smiled at Noaro, then moved towards the storefront where the cake was.
"Sick people, time for cake? Strange," Inner Retta.
Yeah, like them.
"By the way, aren't you at school?" ask Retta.
"home. You see the teacher is close again," Noaro replied. Retta just nodded in understanding.
"The cirain is truant," thought Retta.
"It's the cake." Wafaa gave the wrapped cake to the two of them, but Noaro swiftly picked it up.
"Let me hold it" he said.
"Oh." Tera only looked at the cynical Noaro while raising the right part of her upper lip.
"Pay it there, yeah." Wafaa pointed to the cashier and his guard on the right side with five fingers to make it seem more polite.
"Yes, mom. Thank you." Thank you."
These are unstable boys, of course. They even smiled shyly before reaching the cashier. The only thing that is noticed is silence and does not care.
"The price is 80 thousand" Zaim said.
When Noaro was reaching for his bag, Tera was talking about what Zaim said was unimportant.
"Do you have a boyfriend?"
Zaim made a forced smile by showing his white and neatly lined teeth. Rarely does Zaim smile broadly like this, a moment that should have been perpetuated.
The hidden dimples were finally clearly visible as well. Usually only appears a little because the smile that Zaim often shows is as thin as a tissue.
"The pretty girl over there is Brother's girlfriend." Zaim pointed at Retta with pride. Retta only slightly blushed while cupping her mouth in place.
"Ohh, good," Noaro and Tera muttered as they turned their heads.
"This is the money, brother." Noaro gives the money to Zaim and takes Tera out of the Shop.
"Tomorrow, change my money, yeah." Noaro cursed before finally opening the door.
"Yes." Yeah."
They disappeared when they turned left.
Retta who saw their departure just put hope that the boy who missed him so far will soon recover from whatever his illness.
