Memory Shop: Escape From Home

"So, where are you going now?"

"I don't know where to go either, so I'm here" Serena said.

Retta exhales tiredly. It's not work, but it's the circumstances that make him tired.

"I don't know what to do?"

"You're just at home, I'm, '" suggested Retta.

"Maybe?"

"Can, kok. I'll have my parents' permission."

"Thank you, Ret!"

"Yes alike. Uh, but we go home and wait for the store to close first, okay?"

"Yes, it's okay." A happy feeling arises because he no longer needs to worry about tomorrow. His phone is dead at this time, he deliberately did so that no longer need to receive messages or calls from the father.

Mammy? Serena has none. She has no mother or siblings as both of them had died when she was a toddler.

Serena only has her father.

Retta distanced herself from Serena and returned to her place when a customer came to the store. Serena, who had nothing to do, put her head on the table, looking at the dark streets of Jakarta and the passersby.

Unknowingly, his eyelids clenched. Serena overslept.

After serving customers who managed to find their target cake, Retta turned to focus on Serena who was unconscious in her place.

Retta had no intention of waking him up. Maybe this is the way Serena rests herself from every problem faced.

No more customers came to visit after. It was even the first customer since the start of the store activity.

It's eight o'clock exactly. It's time to turn the 'open' into 'closed' at the store entrance made of glass.

"Build him!" Zaim reminded Retta. Oh yeah, Retta realized that Serena was still fast asleep.

"No need" said Mr. Bread. What the hell does that mean? Does that guy want them to leave Serena alone in the store?

"No need to wake him up. Leave it!" lightly said.

"Why? I told him he would stay at my house." Retta can't allow that.

"He'll wake up the next day when we open the store" Mr. Bread said, "He looks good in his sleep. Just leave him alone. Even he can still sleep comfortably even if we talk nearby."

Despite something unusual in his heart, Retta obeyed the boss and went home with Zaim. The shop light was simply turned off and Serena was locked from the outside by Mr. Bread.

Bread turned to his house.

Along the way to the house even until the time to sleep, Retta is haunted by anxiety. Many questions arise in the mind that worry his heart.

What if Serena wakes up in the middle of the night? What if she was scared and crying? What if ... something creeps up on the floor? Oh no, that last one can't be there. Retta sure.

However, with all that worry, he was unable to help anything at all. He regretted leaving Serena there alone.

"I hope he's okay" he murmured, then slowly closed his eyes and tried to fall asleep.

The memory store opens at eight in the morning. Before getting there, Retta and Zaim had to do a bathing routine. Today is Sunday, so they can work full time.

Tomorrow on Monday, Retta and Zaim change their school admission schedule. If last week they go in the morning and go home in the afternoon, then from tomorrow they will go to school in the afternoon and go home in the afternoon.

Zaim finished first and then knocked on Retta's door with the intention of picking her up.

Initially he thought that would open the door was Mom or Retta's Dad, it turns out Retta itself with a ready-to-go look.

"Tumben cepet." Zaim smiled seductively. Retta just laughed. No matter if it was a compliment or not, he was still happy.

"Oh yeah, did you tell your parents about that part-time job?"

"Udah," said Retta lightly.

"Keep, how did they react?"

"Obsolutely normal. They're even happy when I tell you the amount of his salary." Zaim only rounded his mouth while nodding faintly.

"You?"

"Udah. Well, they agreed even though I was treated at first" Zaim said with a faint smile.

Retta laughed a little. "Nothing, the important thing is permitted."

"Yes, yuk!" bring Retta full of smiles.

They also left together. After recalling Serena, Retta decided to take a step. Zaim followed without much protest. He understands Retta's body language, which indicates anxiety.

After arriving, it was fortunate that what Retta thought last night was not true. However, Mr. Bread has yet to show any sign of his presence.

After looking at Zaim's watches, he understood that they might arrive earlier than what Mr. Bread had said before.

They're set to wait for Mr. Bread in front of the store. There are two little steps there. Minutes later, Mr. Bread came in the same clothes as before. He must have had a lot of clothes like that in his house.

"Pas" Zaim murmured as he stared at his watch which showed it at 08:00 am.

Mr. Bread turned the key and heard a slight sound. Retta enters and turns on the lamp along with Zaim who moves Serena's body.

However, Serena had no intention of waking up.

"Serena, wake!" Retta said as she approached Serena, but the boy did not get up until Retta shook Serena's body firmly.

"What, anyway?" Unconscious, he bullies Retta and her eyes turn wide for a moment, feeling guilty.

"Eh, I don't know. I thought I was home. So sorry!" Serena clasped Retta's arm and lowered her head. He rose from his position and embraced the victims of his habit sincerely.

"It's okay."

Retta stretches out their arms and catches up with Zaim, who has already done his job.

Serena got up and traced the entire contents of the storefront. He was aware that yesterday was left alone in this shop, but it seemed that the girl did not feel upset. Maybe because you don't want to trouble Retta.

Can he afford it? Sure, but for yesterday. Now that he had no money to pay, his stomach also rang from hunger.

"Do you want that cake?" Not Retta or Zaim, but Mr. Bread asked.

Serena nodded for a moment, then lowered her head. "No money."

".... Retta, please get her that chocolate tart for her!"

For an instant, Retta thought that it turned out that Mr. Bread was as good as that, huh. He's running orders.

"E-eh, don't." Serena shook her head quickly as a rejection for not feeling good about taking free stuff.

"You can pay for it later," concluded Mr. Bread before disappearing into the back.

"Oh yes." How embarrassed Serena thought the man would give her a free cake. He just looked down while smiling awkwardly. Even so, he was very grateful for being given food at this time.

"Please!" Retta placed the cake in front of Serena with a blooming smile as if Serena was an honored customer.

"Thank you!" And vice versa.

With plastic knives available, Serena began cutting and tasting the cake. He's very happy. I don't know why it feels like crying.

After turning on her dead phone overnight, Serena found two hundred missed calls and 50 messages asking for her whereabouts.

Well, his dad must be worried.

And ... Serena got a call to two hundred and one on her phone this second. The caller is the same person.

He decided to reject the call and return the cake to his taste senses.

Call to 202 in. Ignored.

Call to 203 in. Ignored.

Call to 204 in. Ignored.

Call to 205 in. Blocked up.

All right, now peace comes to him.

Mr. Bread popped his head and told Retta to bring him the bread that was the purpose of working here.

Retta nodded and left her place. He's headed for the hidden storage section that Mr. Bread has told us about.

There are two types of bread there, bread they know and bread in long form that are still unclear in origin.

Retta lifted and flew the bread Mr. Bread meant to Serena's table.

"This what?" Serena asked.

"Bread."

"No, I mean why is the bread here? This is a cake shop. I don't eat bread either." Serena showed her hue.

"It's a gift" Retta blinks one eye at Serena.

"Gift make?"

"Udah, just eat" Retta said before turning to leave the table.

"Oh yeah, don't forget to read the order, yeah." Retta turned back just to commemorate. After that he really went back to the place.

"Governance?" Serena watched the bread in front of her carefully. He got a command paper on a small wooden stick connected to the bread.

"The mind of the person you love most!" After reading, Serena's eyeballs rose to the top, thinking about who she loved the most.

His life was so bleak that almost no good person dared to approach his life.

Waitaminute! Rei's? Oh, naw. Although the man was told by his father to break up, at least he had to call or send a message to let him know. Serena thought her boyfriend was just pretending to avoid her anger.

Actuallyno.

Her father may have been a reliable and annoying lifekeeper, but Serena could not close the fact that she loved him so much.

Dad is the right choice.

Serena took a pinch of bread and devoured it slowly.

"Eh?" reflex muttering. There was something twisting in her head at a glance, then it disappeared like the wind and then along with the ingestion of bread in Serena's mouth.

"What's that?" His net turned confused as well as shocked. A magic? The magic? That was all that was in his mind.

He took the whole bread and ate it. However, what followed caused Serena to go into severe shock.

Whatisthis? Why did Serena suddenly witness something she had never felt before?

His father, who is a CEO, carried him affectionately from the hospital cot. The man's tears were dripping, happy and sad mixed together.

Serena's mother lying in a hospital bed has lost her life, while her long-awaited child has come into the world.

Serena can recall moments of oblivion or that could not be accommodated longer in her mind.

When he fell off his bike and was told to get up by his father.

When he was taught his father mentioned the words 'Mother' and 'Father'.

When he played with Dad.

And ... even the moments where he grows slowly well under the firm supervision of the Father.

Serena can feel everything through this shadow. The memories he never knew appeared constantly along with the chewing of bread.

Although he realized that he was crying, the tears he could not control and continued to fall like rain that flushed the earth.

Memory Shop's.
