CHAPTER 66

Rangga just stared at his bruised hand. He is now sitting in his office.

"This is the medicine you asked for" said Rangga's men while putting the ointment medicine on the table.

Rangga nodded his head. "thank you. You go back to work."

After his men came out, he grabbed the ointment. Then lightly rub the wound on the back of his hand.

"Maybe I'm too meddling in Rani's personal matters." Rangga took a deep breath and exhaled it violently. He rubbed his face and just sat there daydreaming all day.

Finally, there was a call from Arsen. Rangga immediately raised the call.

"What's up, Ar?"

"Lo searched Virza in basecamp."

"Gue's busy." Rangga turned off his call unilaterally then put his phone roughly on the table. He massaged his dizzy temple while closing his eyes.

A few minutes later someone knocked on his office door. "Boss, there's people looking for you outside."

Rangga looked at his men. "Who?"

"Virz."

"Yes, tell him to come in."

Rangga's men nodded then walked out to call Virza.

The two men were now looking sharp. This time Virza who relented to meet Rangga because he claimed wrong.

"What do you want?"

"Lo don't be mad at Rani, because this is all my fault" replied Virza.

Rangga just stared flat at Virza.

"Gue broke up with Rani" Virza said.

"Ck, it's so easy to break up Rani."

"Because I know, Rani must love you more. Until whenever Rani will not be able to escape from lo. And vice versa. This morning's incident made me realize that I was actually between Lo and Rani."

Rangga just fell silent and hardened his jaw.

"What I'm going to do with Rani is actually just an alibi so that Rani is tied to me. Because every time I walk with Rani, surely Rani will remember the same lo." Virza took a long breath. "Now I'm backin Rani same lo." Then Virza turned her body and walked out of Rangga's office without waiting for a response from Rangga.

Rangga digested every word Virza said. Does Rani love him more?

Rani finally called the number of the restaurant owned by Rangga. He could not linger in a fight with Rangga. Especially at the end of the stage like this. Until a few times the connecting tone no one raised it.

"Geo, let's pick up."

Rani smiled, finally Rangga raised his call.

"Ngga, don't close it. I want to talk to you."

There's no answer at the end of there.

"Yes, wait at home. I'm going to your house now."

Rani smiled a little. Rangga finally wanted to see him. Rani put her phone on the nightstand and got out of bed. He looked at himself in front of the mirror. His eyes were so swollen that almost all day Rani was crying.

A few moments later, Rangga's motorbike was heard in front of his house. Rani immediately came out of the room and opened the door of her house. They looked at each other for a moment. Then Rangga went into the house even though Rani did not invite him to enter because she was already used to go in and out of Rani's house.

"Lo eyes are very important. Why do you cry?"

"Gue didn't want to get angry like that."

"Gue's just trying to take care of you. But if you want it like that, yes I can't make you."

"Yes you're right. I also broke up with Virza."

"Lo doesn't have to break up because of me either."

There was no more talk between them. But Rani's gaze was now fixed on the back of Rangga's hand which turned blue. He approached and held Rangga's hand. "Lo tuh if emotions are held. Do not hurt yourself. Have you treated it?"

"Udah." Rangga just stared at Rani's fingers that gently rubbed her hands.

"Gue knows your nature very hard. Your blood is flowing profusely in your body. You're secretly deadly."

"Lately I can't control my emotions. There are many problems I think." Rangga distanced his hand so that Rani stopped rubbing it. Suddenly there was a strange feeling when Rani touched him. He hurriedly switched the conversation. "Eh, Ran, you know where Naya's birth mother's grave is?"

"Gue doesn't know. Naya has never discussed this issue. Why why?"

"Is Naya's birth name really Maya?"

"Well, I don't know either. Indeed why?"

"Lo help me yeah, find out about this. All the evidence I'm looking for leads to Naya. Gini actually..." Rangga recounted the provisional allegations about Naya to Rani

Rani frowned upon hearing Rangga's story. "Yes, I'll help you figure this out."
