"But what about my wife's eye condition, Doc?" Arsen was getting worried. He was very afraid that a normal birth would be at risk to Naya.

"May nothing happen. Please take off the glasses."

Arsen took off Naya's glasses and she clasped Naya's hand tightly.

"Mother, listen to my cue. Don't push too hard. Straining like a bowel movement. Look at your chest, don't close your eyes while pushing."

Naya has not listened to the words of Doctor Sinta well. His stomach was already very sick and he kept wanting to push.

"Ar, where are my glasses?"

Arsen helped Naya put on her glasses. Then she smiled looking at the little wriggling baby Arnav in Naya's chest while searching for the source of her life. "Hi, Arnav. Very amusing. Honey, it's like you" said Arsen.

Naya just scrunched her forehead. Why he still couldn't see his son's face clearly. There was only a beam of light and it was faint.

"Nay," Arsen now looked at Naya. "Nay, your eyes are so red." Instantly Arsen opened Naya's glasses and looked at Naya's two blood-red eyes. "Darling, you can see, right?"

Naya shook her head. "There is only light."

Hearing that, Arsen's heart was deeply broken. What he was afraid of was actually happening. "Nay, look again." Arsen put on Naya's glasses again.

"Just vague, Ar."

Doctor Sinta examined both of Naya's eyes. "It looks like his veins broke. I hope there is no damage to the retina. Later we will immediately call an ophthalmologist to be treated quickly."

Arsen clasped Naya's head and kissed the top of her head. The tears he could not stand. She was crying in silence. All this happened because of his mistake, he should not have lured Bara and left Naya.

"Ar, he's perfect, right? Healthy right?" One hand Naya rubbed the back of the baby Arnav who now managed to find the source of his life.

"Yes, he's perfect and healthy. His skin is as pure white as yours" replied Arsen in a hoarse voice.

"Ar, what's wrong with you?" Naya grabbed Arsen's face which was now on his shoulder.

But Arsen did not answer. He played the tiny hand with his fingers.

"Ar, don't be sad. Baby Arnav was born. You should be happy."

"But you're like this, Nay."

"Ar, let alone my eyes, I'm willing to lose my life as long as Arnav is born into this world safely."

Instantly Arsen's cry broke on Naya's shoulder. So great is the sacrifice of a mother. "Darling, I'm sure you can see again. Whatever I'm gonna do so you can see our son's face."

"Ar, don't cry. I'm so sad." Naya palpated Arsen's cheeks and wiped away her tears.

"Yes, sorry. I am the weak one. I'm out for a second. The doctor will clean you and baby Arnav." Arsen kissed Naya's cheek and her son's cheek. After that she stepped out of the delivery room. He clenched his hand and contacted Rangga.

"Roni and Bara caught it? Okay, I'll be there now." After turning off his call, Arsen returned to his feet.

"Ar, where are you going?" asked Bu Ririn who had just come with her husband. After being contacted by Gery they immediately rushed to the hospital.

"You why? What happened to Naya?" ask Mr. Tama who saw Arsen's eyes.

"Naya's sight was getting blurred, she could barely see."

"Naya's compassion, but Mama's granddaughter is healthy right?"

"Healthy, Ma." Arsen took off her Mama's hand which was holding her arm.

"Where are you going?" ask Mr. Tama.

"You take care of Bara and others. Mama please take care of Naya." Then Arsen stepped up. He won't let Bara and Roni off the hook. They have to suffer the consequences.

"Ar, don't be rash. Let the police take care of them."

Arsen has not commented on the words of his father. His emotions have overflowing, he makes sure Roni and Bara get a reply from him.
