The Love Story of Two Pearls

The Love Story of Two Pearls
53. Vacation Plan

Day after day passed, the feeling that used to be so bitter and cloudy, now seemed to get back the light from the sun.

Yasmin has returned to her cheerful life as time has gone on, only, like Joseph, she no longer dares to accept any drink from others, she is quite traumatized by the events that happened to her some time ago. Although until now Riska has not been found by the Police, but he does not want to be too dizzy.

As time went on, Yasmin had now completed her lagging PKL. What about Joseph? Joseph has not yet officially preached Yasmin to his parents.

Not because they did not want to or were not ready, but because Yusuf, Abi Hasan and Ummi Ulfa had been in Cairo for almost a month to attend the graduation of their youngest daughter, Fatimah, and continued with the wedding of Fatimah with a man of Arab nationality.

Yasmin did not mind it at all, she was very understanding of the situation and she did not want to impose her will.

Although during Yusuf's time in Cairo, he never again communicated with him, but Yasmin would try to think positively. After all, they do not have a halal bond so exchanging news is not an obligation.

At this time, Yasmin just got off the taxi, she glanced at her watch which showed at 05.30 pm, with a big smile, she stepped foot inside the house.

"Assalamu 'alaikum" said Yasmin who was immediately answered "Wa'alaikum salam" by Anna from inside the house.

"Haaaah, I'm finally free from this PKL" Yasmin said sighingly while already inside the house.

"Cieee finally, how's Yas going to go next?" ask Anna

"Yaaa next we will be on vacation, because all my PKL reports have been sorted out and coincided with a long holiday of admission of new students" said Yasmin enthusiastically.

"That's so true, Yas, I'm on a long holiday too, so where are we going on vacation?" ask Anna spirit.

"How about we go to Toraja Ann, visit your hometown?" bargain Yasmin

"Well, really? I want to, letsgo, but I want to spread the proposal first yeah" said Anna then took the hape.

"proposals? what's Ann's proposal?" ask Yasmin astonished.

"The proposal for permission and fundraising that I will direct for my three brothers and my uncle of course" Anna said, making Yasmin laugh.

"I know what" joked Yasmin.

Tok.tok.tok (the sound of knocking on the door).

"Let me open, you must be tired" said Anna slightly running to open the door after wearing her hijab.

"Assalamu 'alaikum Anna" Ryan said as he widened his hand.

"Wa'alaikum greetings, Ryan? what's up?" ask Anna.

"I want to take you to dinner tonight, okay?" said Ryan.

"Hmm how is it?" Anna thought for a moment, for some reason she was a bit hesitant to accept Ryan's invitation this time.

"Yes, I'm ready for that" said Anna and went back inside the house.

"Where are you going Ann?" yasmin asked when she saw Anna changing her clothes and hijab.

"I'm going out for a minute, not for long, Dad?" anna said while wearing her hijab.

"Hmm.. yeah be careful well, don't you take long?" Yasmin reminded

"Yes my dear mother, I go first, your assalam 'alaikum" Anna left.

"Wa'alaikum salam" replied Yasmin, shaking her head and entering her room.

In Ryan's car

"Where do we want to have dinner for Yan?" anna asked occasionally looking out the window.

"We ate at your favorite place Ann, oh yeah I had a surprise for you" Ryan said, making Anna furrow her eyebrows.

"What surprise?" asked Anna curiously.

"Yes her name is also surprise, meaning Ann's secret" Ryan replied.

"It's up to you then" said Anna.

The Restaurant X

"Don, has anyone booked our restaurant for the event? how quiet and so much decoration?" ask Wildan when he just arrived at his restaurant.

"Yes boss, tonight there's a customer we're going to propose to his girlfriend" said Doni Wildan's assistant.

"Wow romantic too well" praised Wildan as he walked into the restaurant, but his footsteps suddenly came to a halt as he looked at the inscription on the inside of the restaurant.

'Anna, will you marry me?' that's writing.

"Hopefully she was not the Anna I knew" he muttered and set his foot back, but again, his footsteps came to a halt as he heard the roar of a car stopping in front of his restaurant. Wildan squinted his eyes to focus his gaze when he saw who the girl who got out of the car was.
