32. Wedding Event

"Yes have gone to pale first, Assalamu 'alaikum". (Yes already, I left first, Assalamu 'alaikum). Yasmin kissed her mother's hand and greeted her sisters.

Yasmin left on her father's motorcycle.

The Wedding Event

"Well cool" praises Yusuf for seeing the dance.

"Yus, there you take a meal first" said Ummi Ulfa who just arrived from the food stand to take food.

"Yes Ummi" said Joseph and went to get food.

While enjoying the dish, Ummi Ulfa accidentally saw Yasmin who was on stage to congratulate the bride and groom.

Enthusiastically, Ummi Ulfa waited for Yasmin to step off the stage and called her towards where Ummi Ulfa was sitting right now. He planned to introduce her to Joseph, he already liked the girl.

Seeing a middle-aged woman who looked familiar was calling him, Yasmin approached and it turned out that the middle-aged woman was Ummi whom she met in front of the minimarket.

"Ummi??? Ummi here also turns out" said Yasmin surprised to see the arrival of Ummi Ulfa did not forget he greeted and kissed the hand of Ummi Ulfa.

"Yes son, are you Makassar?" ask Ummi Ulfa.

"Yes Ummi, Yasmin's house in Makassar, Yasmin to Jakarta for college, oh yes Ummi came here himself?" ask Yasmin later.

"Ummi came with Ummi's son, you want Ummi to know Ummi's son? that's the man" Ummi Ulfa said, pointing to Joseph walking toward him.

Yasmin only smiled in response to Ummi Ulfa's offer and then turned back to look at the child Ummi Ulfa meant.

"Breast.." Yasmin's mind was shocked. His tongue was frozen and his body was frozen. Again, it felt as if time had stopped.

After taking some food and not forgetting the dessert, Joseph turned to return to his original place. He walked past many people, he vaguely saw Umminya calling a girl, making Joseph feel worried if Umminya would introduce him to a foreign girl. But after the girl got closer, a smile appeared on her lips.

Somehow Ummi could know him, but Yusuf was very grateful for that.

"May Allah ease my way to make it right" Joseph smiled and walked closer until Ummi showed Joseph to Yasmin and made Yasmin turn and look at Joseph.
