The atmosphere became quiet, the sun began to rise making the light feel piercing the pores. The three of them were still at home in the gazebo, there was no conversation. Only the breezy sound of the wind and the wave of the trees that formed their own beautiful tone filled the silence.
"Yes, go in yuk. It's hot sun." Take Alya who is starting to feel hot.
"You guys go first, this hour is good for sunbathing." Say it without looking at them.
Finally Alya and Fira chose to go to the Villa while Aya still wanted to linger in the gazebo. Suddenly he remembered Arga. Unknowingly she smiled at him. Somehow there is a little hope in his heart, hopefully, if Arga is here with him, maybe he will continue to be teased Arga with his reckless flutter but always managed to make Aya wrong behavior.
"What's he doing now?" Aya muttered which she could still hear with her own ears.
*****
The night before replacing the afternoon, the view this afternoon is so beautiful, the dusk is red saga with a beautiful panorama of trekking and tea walking that is so pampering the eyes.
Aya still wanted to linger having this beauty, yet the voice of the Adhan had been calling out to be immediately welcomed. He left the balcony of his room, closed the door, turned on the lights and then closed all the windows and curtains. Aya went to the bathroom to clean herself and she will continue with the maghrib prayer. After the prayer, he took a Qur'an on his bedside nightstand. For about 30 minutes he was washed away in the divine Word, reading it verse by verse and its translation. His heart trembled when he found a verse that so pinched his senses.
"You may hate something, when it is good for you, and you may (also) like something, but it is bad for you; Allah knows, and you do not know.” (QS. Al-Baqarah: 216)
Ah, how he had spent 1/3 of his life just hating his father. But look what her father has done for her!!! Aya felt ashamed, felt small, felt contemptuous, her ego had brought herself to endless suffering. His tears now flow, he sobbed on his alphabet.
"Yes Allah. forgive the servant! Forgive my ignorance, help me release all these burdensome feelings.. O Allah, to You only I ask, You are ever forgiving and prayerful." Aya said to raise her hands up still with a sobbing that she could not contain.
Tok tok tok tok
"Yes, are you inside?" Alya's voice called out to her from behind the door.
Aya hurriedly wiped away her tears, neutralized her mood and then moved to open the door of her room. Without waiting for Alya to enter the room, Aya immediately turned to tidy up her prayer equipment.
Alya sat on the edge of the bed watching Aya's movements, she could see the puffy eyes and reddened face typical of people after crying still hanging on Aya's face.
"Lo's crying?"
Aya shook her head, she placed her face fold on the nightstand and then overwritten the Qur'an on it. Aya took a sitting position side by side with Alya. Aya looked up at the ceiling of the room, took a deep breath and exhaled it out through her mouth.
"Al, I miss mom and dad." Aya bowed, her tears flowing back down her cheeks.
Alya approached then hugged Aya from the side. He gently stroked Aya's shoulders, not responding much less intending to give long advice. Because sometimes a hug can represent all words.
"Gue was afraid of Al, afraid he could not escape from the shadows of the incident."
"Lo has the right to recover Yes," Alya unraveled her embrace and stared deeply into Aya's bead of eyes.
"Lo deserves to be healed, you have to believe that behind the incident there is great wisdom that you can take. Here you learn strong, learn independently, and later this experience will actually make you a more sensitive person. You can think about the feelings of others and you know how to behave to others, especially to your husband and children later. You deserve to be happy, yes. And happy or not lo, you yourself are certainly." Alya sighed.
"Yes, you're still taking your medicine not in the last month or week?"
Aya squinted her eyes at Alya, thought for a moment and shook her head. He tried to remember the last time he took his medicine. Yes, when his father died. It seems like that was the last time he took his medicine because since then Aya has never returned to his apartment other than on the day of his meeting with om Dino.
"You know, since when don't you take your medicine anymore?" Alya asked curiously, because this is good news considering the pressures Aya got in a month is enough to make Alya worry about Aya's condition.
" As I recall, last time I passed out after passing out when I found out you were hospitalized."
"Lo's healed, yeah. You're healed, you have to remember that, put it deep in your mind, you're healed!" Alya said with great emphasis.
"Mas Arga, om and aunt are your medicine. They're your medicine, yes. Your family!" Alya re-emphasized her sentence.
"Yes, I want to be honest with you. I feel a burden for not saying this to you." Aya took off her embrace looking meaningfully at Alya.
"Yes, just say, honestly it's good, let it escape all the burdens that squeeze, let all the feelings that stick in the heart." Aya responded.
"But you promise you won't be angry with me or me..."Alya paused her sentence which Aya glared at in order to continue her sentence. "Tante Andini." Alya muttered softly, very quietly almost like a whisper.
"Just tell me everything Al, I won't get mad. I no longer have the energy to get angry. Whatever it is, you're the most valuable people in my life right now, I'm not ready to feel any more loss anytime soon, okay!" Aya's words convinced Alya.
"Mmmm. about the incident at the hotel during my wedding reception." Alya hesitated a little furthering her sentence. Aya sighs..
"You mean, you want to tell me that you and Mom arranged it?" Guess Aya and taken directly by Alya.
"Sorry!" Alya said with a plea.
Aya shook her head. It turns out that his suspicions were right, that night he suddenly drowsy when not usually Aya sleepy at that hour, no matter how tired Aya, Aya will not be easy to fall asleep because his trauma has made him insomnia. Except, except when he was with Arga, for some reason he always felt comfortable and calm when Arga was nearby. Aya shuddered and then tried to rush to eliminate Arga in her mind.
"From the beginning I was suspicious of Al. But-"
"Mas Arga wasn't involved Al, we forced him. If he doesn't want Aunt Andini to kill herself." Alya said quickly cutting Aya's sentence.
Aya was shocked to hear Alya's confession, what if Andini's mother forced her will to the same Arga.
"That's incredible..!" Said Aya smiling wryly.
"Lo knows himself, yes, how gesreknya aunt Andini. He really wants you to ask for responsibility to marry mas Arga, uh you even cuek duck. He was very disappointed at that time. He couldn't take you home." Alya smiled to herself considering Aunt Andini's reaction at that time. He fussed himself because his plan failed miserably.
Aya mangosteen justifies Alya's speech. He recalled the first time he visited his house, his car tires were flat, unmitigated, all his tires were deflated. He now believes it was the result of his actions.
"Gue did not end think Al, mom really have my heart?" Complain Aya.
"Not the heart, yeah. He was just afraid of people taking him. Ngarepin mas Arga later Yes, the person he is like still in the starting line continues, do not know when the advance, even if not lo its getting further, he who retreated before fighting." Alya tried to defend her tant, for Alya the cunning ways her tantenya done made quite reasonable. In fact, Alya had proposed to give them both stimulant drugs, let him run his business. Luckily his brain was still smart enough to think about Aya's mental condition afterwards, so they did not do it.
"Don't you think Arga ever said he wanted to step back?" Aya was even curious about that one point.
"Where do I know, huh? Kan lo his wife, you should know the most everything about the current Arga mas." Annoyed Alya.
Aya just raised both of her shoulders a sign of not knowing. He still vividly remembered every word Arga said while on the balcony of Arga's room. There was no doubt in Arga's words, only, again Aya who was still doubtful to herself at this moment.
"Eh, but seriously, yes, has Arga not touched you at all?" Alya was very curious as to the extent of Aya and Arga's current relationship.
Aya's face instantly changed color to red. He was quite embarrassed to remember his first kiss with Arga. Every time he remembered that, there was a strange rumble that ran all over his body.
Aya shook her head quickly, "what the hell is Al? Where do I want to be with her?"
"Yakin lo Ya? Looking at your expression right now, I'm sure you've fallen in love with him." Alya smiled triumphantly feeling her target hit right at the heart.
Aya rolled her eyeballs carelessly, she felt Alya was most pretentious to know. "Where am I in love with Arga?" Aya tried to deny her feelings.
"It's up to you. If love says yes!" Alya spoke out from Aya's room.
