The Love of the Past

The Love of the Past
Do You Love her?

When the eyes will open, when the hand will move, and when the body will respond, all will not know the answer. The condition of brain damage in Zayn's head is still in special care by specialists. So it can not be ascertained when Zayn will be aware of the coma.

Nayra stroked the cheeks firmly on Zayn's face, she stroked him gently as if feeling the rush of love that had once grown between them. Unable to deny, Nayra still held that feeling, the shock in her heart grew even more intense as she did not see Zayn's smile anymore. He missed the twinkle of love from Zayn's gaze.

Ten minutes had passed, and a female nurse walked towards Nayra. The nurse observed him since then because he had to maintain and ensure the safety of patients in the room.

"Excuse me, ma'am," said a nurse from behind Nayra, her voice whispering.

"Yes." Yeah." Nayra looked back while rubbing the rest of her tears.

"I'm sorry, time is up, you better get out, let the patient rest."

"Oh yes, okay, I'll be out soon. Thank you." Thank you."

The nurse returned to her desk still in the ICU room, she continued to observe Nayra who had not yet left.

"Zayn, I have to go. Tomorrow, I'll be here again. You must be spirit yes, must not be weak, I wait for you.l Quickly get up! I-I still love you, Zayn." Nayra shed a circle of tears, shedding all pent-up sorrow. The woman then kissed the back of Zayn's hand as a sign of his valor, but she should not have done so because she was the wife of the man.

The words of love ... Nayra did not realize it, she just said what was in her heart without thinking and without remembering her husband.

After saying goodbye to her ex-lover, she rushed out of the cold, tense room. The waiting room looked quiet and made the atmosphere even more quiet. He sat down next to Dera. With wet eyelids, Nayra glanced at the woman who was Zayn's wife.

"Dera ...," call Nayra.

"Yes, why? Is there a similar development Zayn?" Dera put her phone down after ignoring Nayra beside her.

"Ah, no. There has been no progress with Zayn. Can I ask you something?"

"Can you ask what?" Dera asked again.

"Do you love her?" His words sounded full of doubt.

"You mean, Zayn?"

"Yes, Zayn. Do you love her?"

"of course. He's my husband, I definitely love him. Why are you asking that?"

Nayra took a deep breath, she was quite surprised to hear the reply from the long haired woman.

"It's okay, I just want to know. At least I am now relieved, there is a woman who accompanies Zayn sincerely," replied Nayra slightly smiling so that Dera did not think about her question.

"But .. unfortunately he never loved me," said Dera with a half-dreamy blank look.

"How come? I mean, how do you know that Zayn doesn't love you. Didn't you guys live together all this time?"

Dera carved out her thin smile, covering up all the turmoil she felt. Even so, he felt a deep heartache because all this time he had never felt genuine love from a man.

Nayra was silent for a moment, then said, "Dera, you know everything about my past with Zayn?”

“Of course I know, how not, from the past it was always your name that he called and became a comparison between me and you. Likewise with the workspace and room full of your photos.”

“Really?”  Nayra's chest felt tight to hear Dera's speech. It turned out that Zayn had been thinking of him.

Nayra immediately realized not to drop her tears, she said,” Dera, nothing coincidental, everything has been arranged by the Almighty. You married Zayn was indeed his destiny. So did I, I married Arkha, that was the line. So you don't have to regret any of this. About feelings, you be patient, someday, Zayn will definitely love you.”

Nayra tried to calm Dera down, this time speaking as a fellow female. There is no longer the distance that makes them awkward as before, between Dera's status as a wife and Nayra as an ex-lover.

About an hour later, Nayra talked to Dera, and she decided to say goodbye because she had to go to her restaurant.

Since Zayn's accident yesterday, Nayra hasn't set foot in the place she's most proud of right now. Yeah, it's the restaurant that's been the most fun thing in her life. He can pour his cooking hobby, he can meet various people, what else if he meets customers who are satisfied with his cooking. It was a joyous gift for him.

Nayra looked at the watch in her hand. “Ah looks like I have to leave now, soon lunch hour, surely the restaurant will be consumer Arkhai,” inner.

“Dera, sorry it looks like I have to go.” Nayra says goodbye to Dera.

“Why rush?”

“I have to go to the restaurant because since yesterday I have not been there. It's soon lunchtime, so I want to help them,” Nayra said. He picked up the bag that had been lying on the chair.

“Yes already, you are careful on the road, yes. Thank you for taking the time to visit Zayn,” said Dera, he also stood up to compensate Nayra who was about to walk. Without awkward anymore, they are already splashing like a friend who is familiar.

In fact, Nayra and Dera can indeed make peace with the situation, especially with Dera who does not hate Nayra at all. Though it should be, any wife will certainly be jealous if her husband is close to other women.

Orchid Restaurant

Nayra swung her footsteps as soon as she arrived in front of the restaurant her driver was driving to. With a radiant face, he began to greet one by one the employees who were working, the smile of his Archah made the workers more like his boss. Nayra is a very patient boss, he never once scolded his employees even though he was wrong. He only advises and sets the right example.

“Good day, Mrs Boss!” greeting a woman who looks the same age as Nayra, she is a friend of Nayra who also serves as a manager at the restaurant.

“Siang, Felly!” sahut Nayra with a faint smile.

“Eh pause, that's your eye why red?” reprimanding Felly while observing Nayra's face looked like she was crying.

“Ah, it was flickering outside, it was forgotten! What about the restaurant yesterday ? What okay. Just?” Nayra was sitting on her couch in the lounge not far from the cashier's desk.

“Iya dong! Relax, send it all to me!” felly replied excitedly while patting her chest proudly.

“What are you busy now, Fel?”
