Chapters 9.09. Of Laelah

"Not to know him? where do you know and since when?" Vino continued to ask when the two were now traveling around the supermarket.

I don't know what exactly Vino brought her here for. Asked from the beginning the man simply smiled without any intention of answering.

"He was once Mr. Raka's business opponent." Obviously then a little lazy.

"Well cool, it deserves a very classy appearance and also beautiful." Vino amazed.

In her eyes since the first time she saw Jennie's presence was already very different from any other girl she had met in this city. Jennie who looks cute adds to her charisma. The impression of a tough girl is immediately attached to Vino's mind.

In contrast to Rayyan who was full of seeing the appearance of such a girl in the capital.

"She's cool, so cool that she does various ways to drop opponents for a tander."

Jennie got into her car after lunch with Rayyan. Ha, not together but rather he who joined in a table with the man on the face of the wall.

"Ckck, he always displays that face. Isn't he tired? or did he have a disorder that could not smile even a little? aish sucks!! but it's important that I have friends when I eat." he muttered as he started to revive his car.

While not far from there precisely in a cafe looks Rani is still staring at the parking lot where Jennie's car moves slowly out of the parking lot.

"What's he doing here?"

"Mom, what's wrong?" Laelah nudged Rani's arm slowly.

"What's up, la?"

"What's wrong, what's wrong with you?" Laelah dizzy looking for something that might be the object of Rani.

"Cie cie's..." The spotlight while rolling eyes towards Rani who was looking at him questioningly.

"Say dong if mbak morni mas Ardi daritadi. It won't bother me." He plays with both eyes.

"What the hell?" Rani follows Laelah's line of sight. There were clearly two people who were talking and one of them was Ardi.

Vino appears to be talking to Ardi. He only becomes an angler if their guess is true so far if Ardi is involved with sabotage that occurs in the project that Aditama group is working on.

"Alright, just arrange the meeting when we can talk later. Sorry for today because I can't." Ardi smiled politely. Nothing has changed from that young man.

"alright. Then I will tell Mr. Rayyan to make an appointment with you. See you later and I'm sorry to interrupt your time."

The two separated after shaking hands with each other. Vino reasoned that he and Rayyan today came to meet with a client who happened to make an appointment at one of the shops around the supermarket.

Before long Rayyan walked out with a paper bag in her hand. His sunglasses were still perched on top of his pointed nose but his eyes remained sharp looking around.

Putting on a wide smile made Rayyan who saw him squint both of his eyes. But the man did not care and continued his steps towards his parked car.

"Sorry long wait. Accidentally met a friend outside, it's not good to stay." Ardi sat himself right in front of Rani and Laelah.

"What's wrong, we've just arrived." Laelah smiled as she nudged Rani's arm on the table making the girl smile stiffly.

"Have the message yet?" Ardi opened his voice after his eyes only saw the glass of drink on the table.

"Not yet, just had a drink." Again and again Laelah gave the answer.

Ardi didn't seem to bother with all that. He raised his hand giving the servant a code to approach. They ordered their own food.

"Oh yes, La. He said your school is over soon? so what's your plan going forward?"

"You're looking for work. I want to help you with the school sister."

"Don't you love your education? why not go to college while working."

"Lecture costs expensive mas, I was afraid before I could add to the burden of the family later. That's why I want to work first who knows I can save up for my own tuition."

"Well so good, you have the spirit to go forward and be independent. Support that, don't hesitate. You can find me if you need help."

"Yes, um." Laelah smiled happily. At least he had hopes to work in a textile factory owned by the Ardi family after graduating from school later.

"You yourself how is Dan, there's a desire for work again?"

"The idea is, but I'm not allowed to go back to the capital." She shriveled while looking down. His fingers were busy stirring the orange ice in his message using a straw.

"What if you work at my place? let me help you talk to your dad."

Rani was silent, her father would have immediately agreed if Ardi had said it directly. But all of this will add to the burden of his mind. It does not rule out the possibility that what he did will make the father more excited and consider him willing to accept the matchmaking.

Laelah who had been a listener since felt that there was something that the two people had to talk about. The girl chose to go to the bathroom.

Laelah stepped onto the cashier's desk, whispering for a while before finally choosing a slightly hidden seat so as not to be seen by Rani and Ardi there.

"Thank you mbak, for others just drop it off to table number 8 there." His speech was merrily replied with a nod of the butler. Laelah chose to get out of the store and boarded the angkot to rush home with her order wrapped.

"Thank you."

Rani said when a waiter finished serving their food. His forehead frowned when he realized that Laelah's order had not arrived yet as well as the girl who did not return.

"Let's eat first, hunt the food cold. We'll continue our conversation."

"But Laelah has not returned, nor has her order been served."

"He came home first, just texted me." Ardi shows her cell phone screen where there is a message from Laelah saying if the girl came home first because of a phone call by her mother. She also said that the food for her had been wrapped and brought home.

Rani sighed heavily, knowing that it was her cousin's wits to leave her alone with Ardi. Feeling no reason anymore in the end Rani chose to enjoy the food in her message in silence.
