Jennie poked her eyes slowly. There was a pain in his right temple making him grimace. His body felt stiff as well as his legs could not be moved.
"Oh my God, where am I? am I in that pack of criminals? papa Arlan, Jimmy help me." She's in her heart.
Both of his eyes were glazed. Jennie wanted to scream but her throat hurt. The girl was only able to sob softly.
"So I finally realized it too." A woman's voice made Jennie slightly stunned. His eyes turned to the middle-aged woman who seemed to be smiling beside him.
"Thank God he was conscious. Just a second, aunt call Den Ray first." He continued as he passed away leaving Jennie who was still silent without being able to do anything.
Soon the door was open again. Jennie tried to glance at the door, her tail staring at the gentleman who was closing the door slowly. Jennie's eyes opened wide when she saw Rayyan standing beside the bed where she lay.
Various kinds of thoughts were raging in his mind. Tell him what happened to him. There was a lot of speculation in his brain. Could it be Rayyan who was behind everything that befell him but for what reason? should he remember never getting into a problem with the man or the wall-faced man who turned out to save him?
"Aware yet? how are you doing?" Her voice no longer sounded sniffy but her flat face still made anyone who saw her annoy including Jennie.
Jennie simply blinked her eyes in response making Rayyan raise her eyebrows next to her.
Heavy breathing sounds there. Rayyan clasped her chest still with her sharp gaze.
"I don't know what their problem is with you. But you should be grateful, if I hadn't been there maybe your life would have drifted by now. The doctor said your body would be stiff given the violent impact that hit your body that night. There are 6 stitches in your temple and your right leg is swollen."
"Rest, let aunt take care of you. You just calm down this place is safe for a while. You can leave after recovery, I don't want to be bothered by you."
Rayyan passed away after saying that. She let Jennie alone before Bu Tyo finally went back in with a tray filled with porridge in her hand.
"Neng should eat first yes, after that take medicine. The doctor said, neng will limp when conscious, his body will be stiff and also a little dizzy. Don't worry, all that the doctor said due to the influence of the drug. Eat yes neng, must be forced to recover quickly."
"Where am I bi?" Jennie tried to move her lips to make a sound.
"In the villa of Mr. Raka neng, last night Den Rayyan who brought neng here in a state of fainting. Aunty to the trembling you see the blood is a lot."
Jennie accepted the bribe after mouthful of porridge in her mouth while listening to Bu Tyo tell a story.
"So he saved me?" insinuations
"Neng was down to the hospital but only for a short time. After sewn his wound Den Rayyan immediately brought neng back he said the danger if neng still there. Afraid of the robbers coming back to look for neng he said. That's why he's here again."
"It turns out he really saved me, although his flat face was annoying but he still had a good heart" he murmured again.
"It's bi." Jennie shakes.
Ms. Tyo helped Jennie take her medicine, and that's when Jennie realized that there was an infusion tube still stuck in her hand.
"Bi, may you know why my body is stiff and immovable?"
"Maybe it's because of the drug neng, it's gonna have to be stitched up last night it's templey."
Jennie nodded her head slowly. The girl smiled.
.
.
"No. I didn't even hear exactly what they were talking about. But for sure I heard one of them say they'd take him to the cliff on the path to the outskirts of town. When I followed it that way. That's why I got into a fight with those two guys and took Jennie."
Rayyan rolled up her shirt sleeves to get higher. There was a wound wrapped in bandages on his burly arm.
"What are our plans for this afternoon? are we delaying remembering you're being hurt like this."
"No need!! this is not a wound that is too bad. Let's just continue with the plan."
Vino only raised to his two hands a surrender sign. He didn't say a word after that. Choosing silence while enjoying the snacks that Bu Tyo provides.
"Do I need to ask one of my men to investigate Jennie's matter?" Vino reopens the sound.
"Later, you try to ask him first. Who knows if he knows the culprit or maybe he has an enemy. But I think people seem to have a lot of enemies."
"Ckck you here, don't hate him too much. Who knows, you'll be a fool." Vino Manaik lowered his eyebrows regardless of Rayyan's horror gaze that had been fixed on him.
That afternoon, Rayyan actually set out to meet the man named Ardi. Still accompanied by Vino, the two walked into a cafe where Vino had agreed to meet with Ardi.
"You sure you're here?" Rayyan looked around.
"Hem, there are only 1 cafe here while 1 more is around the supermarket. So we can be sure this is the place. Let's just go inside." Vino walks first followed by Rayyan's strapping body.
"Welcome, brother, please."
"Thank you, we're sitting at the corner table over there. Later if Mr. Ardi comes please deliver to our table." Vino spoke softly while pinning a thin smile on his lips.
"Okay, brother. please."
The two again walked to the corner table whose scenery was directly faced with the green forest. Not so lush but quite cool to look at.
"The view here is great. Actually, it is very strategic if you set up a business. But all of that is hindered by the thinking of some people who do not divide the land they work on so that sometimes cause disputes. But if you want to be traced, the forest and small hill are not owned. But since they've been working on it from the days of the ancestors, it's happening."
"I'm sure, in the problems that befall the project owned by Mr. Raka as well. It could be that everything that has been dealt at first becomes hot again because of the whispers from the other party."
"But we still can't be rash. As Raka ordered, if it can still be in a peaceful way for what we do violence. We just need to find the mastermind without hurting those who just follow along."
The two stopped the conversation as the waiter delivered their ordered coffee.
"You know, I actually wanted to set up a food factory that only specialized in producing food from the raw materials of the gardens of the residents here. So in addition to providing jobs can also accommodate their crops without the need to go far to the capital." Vino voiced the contents in his head.
For years he had this desire. But he did not dare to say it. In addition to limited capital, Vino also does not have strong baking as a basis for himself to establish a business.
"You've chosen the location?"
"meaning?"
"The land to set up the factory you're referring to. Have you chosen where it will be built?"
"You're joking, even though I have that desire where I might be able to make it happen. You know how I've been doing all this time." Vino sipped his coffee slowly.
"We will talk again later, now we must focus on the matter of Kak Raka. The sooner it's revealed, the better it'll be for us in the future." Rayyan took off the sunglasses that had been perched on her nose. The young man turned towards the entrance of the cafe where two people were seen who had just entered and talked to the waiter of the cafe.
