The sunlight slightly disturbed his morning sleep. The woman grumbled as her phone ringing repeatedly disturbed her composure. The device with the eye position still closed tightly, with lazy Ralin voiced.
His eyes slowly opened hearing a familiar voice there. The baritone voice was so missed. His lips were helpless in response to the middle-aged man's call. A drop of warm water seeped to the side. His eyes stared blankly at the sky of his house. Ralin misses the sound.
Five years later, the man contacted her. The old man he hated so much, though his affection was more than anything. That man is his papa. A father who leaves his daughter to marry another woman. The figure he had been so proud of since childhood, turned into a figure that broke his daughter's expectations.
"What do you need to contact me?" his answer suppressed the tightness that had suddenly slipped into the recesses of his heart.
"How are you, son?" tanyanya.
Ralin could hear his papa's breath from there. His tone was trembling as he asked his daughter, who was not responded to. Ralin was silent regardless of it.
Ralin wanted to hear his papa voice longer, wanted to just talk stale, wanted to tell all his complaints since the departure of his father with his new family. But his heart and mind were not in line. His heart wanted to forgive his papa, but his mind kept remembering all the painful things that the man had done. His hands clenched as the hatred enveloped his mind.
"Sorry, I'm busy. We'll talk another time"
Before the woman hung up, her papa voice interrupted. Ralin gave him time to talk for a while.
"Can we meet?"
Ralin was silent, there was no answer. His hands were still clenched down there, his eyes reddened.
"Later five o'clock in the afternoon, papa wait at the place where we celebrate your sweet seventeen. There's your mama there too" he said calmly. That calmness made Ralin clench both of his palms tightly. Her knuckle book is white. His blood rises sending emotions that peak up to the sweet potato.
Not finished his papa case, Ralin had to meet his mama again. Ralin smiled disdainfully. The two of them must be planning something behind Ralin. Both are equally selfish, until the nature is now ingrained in Ralin.
"We're waiting for you, son. Papa hope you're coming"
Afterwards the call was severed unilaterally by Ralin. Crying dried. Meeting his parents was like sprinkling salt over a wound that had not dried.
It felt so tight, that his palms squeezed firmly onto the white-colored bedsheet. Ralin was still lying down, there was no intention to just sit down. He just needs oxygen right now. The conversation just now really absorbed the rigidity of his heart.
His hand ruffled his own hair in frustration. Ralin longed for the wholeness of his family, but the shadow of his life always haunted his sleep. Every night, Ralin cried, with no one to calm him down. Remembering that night only made him grow late in hating both his parents. It never occurred to me that Ralin was between the same two people who destroyed his life.
"Just wait. Until morning, I won't come" the final break. In fact, Ralin could not forgive both. Let it be like this, until Ralin can forgive their actions. He just needs peace, and their presence won't change anything.
...............
Despite her bad mood, Ralin remained professional in her work. As much as possible the woman still looks strong as usual. Her haughty smile signified that her condition had returned like that of the arrogant woman Ralin.
The tiny watch that looks elegant on his left hand. The shooting is soon finished. Ralin remembers his promise to Raksa last night. His smile expanded as his fingers skillfully typed a message for the man.
📩 Messages
For : Anggara Raksa
I'll be there in 20 minutes. Working spirit.
As usual, Ralin would not wait for a reply to the message, because Ralin knew that the man must be busy at this time. It's just that there's a desire to just give news.
Actually Andini was a little amused to see the adorable behavior of his best friend. What's with this shitty woman?, Andini chuckled. Even so terbesit happy feelings see Ralin's smile looks sincere and not made. Andini was like seeing Ralinka who had returned. The jolly girl with the sweetest smile ever.
A few minutes passed, finally they arrived at the coffee shop where Raksa worked. From the outside, Ralin could see the man struggling on his desk. Andini looked around him. The atmosphere of the plateau with a view that was so refreshing to his mind. It seems, Andini will also feel at home in this place.
Both of them chose to sit at the corner table near the pool. While waiting, Ralin impatiently realized, Raksa was not finished with his work. Though there are many workers, there are even some other baristas. Why does it seem like Raksa doesn't want to see him so much?.
Moving out of her chair, Ralin went in to see the man inside, and sure enough. Raksa is still busy with his coffee. Ralin let out a sigh of annoyance. Even so, Ralin liked the spirit of the man at work. Ralin must understand that what Raksa did was not wrong. The man just does his job well.
The Raksa is still unconscious if heed. The man had just turned his head when the voice of his friend gave the code to him.
"Sa, that's your friend, isn't it? from earlier I noticed, tuh girl see you mulu" said Andre curious.
After finishing his work, Raksa asked Andre for time to talk to Ralin. Andre allowed him on the grounds that there are still many other baristas that can replace him at this time. After all, Andre gave Raksa a job just to help him, so while Raksa was diligent, Andre did not mind the request of his friend.
Raksa pulled Ralin's hand slightly away from some of the people there. Right across the pool, not far from Andini's position there.
"Why didn't you call me just now? even see a work person" he asked while inviting Ralin to sit down.
"I like seeing you work. Your spirit reminds me of the early days when I started my career" explained Ralin tidying Raksa's hair a little messy.
Raksa was silent, not knowing what to answer.
"Have you eaten?" ask Ralin. Somehow, he became so concerned with all things about Raksa.
The Raksa shook his head slowly, giving the excuse of "Not hungry".
The man will eat if he feels, his work is done. Raksa has been like this since childhood. Until his mother often advised him to keep his diet.
"Don't eat late, you can get sick, Sa" said Ralin attentively.
"I'm eating this"
Ralin smiled at Raksa's quiet voice. Ralin liked it when the man kept looking at her while talking. Raksa's shady bead makes himself even more comfortable with this simple chatter.
"Rame is really your friend's coffee shop" Ralin circulated his gaze for a little stale.
"His name is Andre" said Raksa introducing his friend. Ralin just nodded unconcernedly.
"Do you know why this is serame?" ralin asked with a smile that made her look even more attractive.
"Because of the delicious coffee taste with a fairly aesthetic place" replied Raksa who was right in fact.
Variation of the drink menu here is so suitable in the tongue of the connoisseurs. Especially plus the surrounding scenery that is so satisfying to the eye. It feels like the top. From here the visitors can see the natural atmosphere that is so tempting.
"One more" said Ralin interjected, making Raksa raise an eyebrow a little thought.
"The barista is handsome" he continued with an intense gaze and a ignorant smile on the woman's lips, making Raksa chuckle softly. There was just this, this woman in front of him.
